Had a great haircut by Zach about a month ago, and scheduled a color appointment with him for today. Got a call this afternoon that he is sick and not coming in and I can’t reschedule with him until August 15! I am getting married in October and was desperately trying to find a quality stylist to get my hair right before then. I’m just going to take this cancellation and frustrating scheduling as a sign from the universe that this was not the salon for me. Hope others have better experiences, but mine was not what I was expecting.

I recently started seeing Bryna and she has been doing great with my hair. I recently saw her for corrective treatment from a prior salon and she did great! It is looking more healthy and the color is beautiful! Thank you!!

Having just moved back to STL after 13 years I was in need of a hair girlie. I searched high and low looking for talent, when I came across, Casey. She’s not only so genuinely kind, but her attention to detail is incredible. I have a ton of hair and Casey handled it like a boss, getting me in whenever I need. Shes very prompt with responses and appointment scheduling. The salon is very clean with a plethora of yummy products to purchase. I look forward to hair days and spending time at Smith + Simms.

Smith + Simms is amazing! The salon is always clean, and the front desk girls are so kind and inviting! Camille is the BEST!!! If you’re not going to Camille for all of your hair needs, you’re missing out! She transformed my hair for my wedding and gave me the perfect blended blonde that I envisioned!

Smith and Simms is THE BEST!!! I’ve been going to Erica for over a year. I always look forward to the appointments. Everyone on the team is so kind and helpful, especially if you have questions. Erica is very knowledgeable and always takes the time to discuss my goals for the visit before we start. Whether it is a haircut or color session, she makes the appointment feel special. I trust all of her guidance and abilities, she is incredibly talented. The entire team is very cohesive and work together seamlessly to create a positive environment. It’s not just a haircut, it’s an experience!

Zoe is amazing! She always makes me feel so comfortable in her chair. She also brings what you want to life but also making sure I’m not damaging my hair, she also keeps me level headed haha. There are times I wanted drastic changes and she has brought me back down to earth and got me to just do small changes at a time so I don’t overwhelm myself. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, if your looking for a stylist Zoe is your girl!

Camille did such an amazing job with my hair! As a fellow hairstylist, I am always very apprehensive about trusting my hair in the hands of another and she executed the color exactly how I wanted it! Definitely will be coming back.

I had a wonderful experience with Ally! Whether I get a blowout, haircut, or highlights, she gets it just how I imagine every time. Ally is also very friendly and easy to talk to. She makes the salon experience enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

I have gone to Alexa and then experienced Camille's skills while she was assisting and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about both stylists! Alexa has done several different hues and blends of blonde that are gorgeous every time. I'm a natural level 5 or 6, currently probably an 8 with a bunch of 9/10 highlights. During my wannabe redhead phase she took me from a solid 9/10 all over to a full blown auburn red dream in ONE appointment. The talent all around at this salon is great. If you're new to town and can't find a salon let alone a stylist, Smith & Simms is the best bet because every single stylist is great and they're not afraid to cross reference for education/opinion to make sure you leave happy! A totally TMI review but personally, my hair is a big deal to me. It's always such a big part of my self esteem and this is the kind of info I wished I had 3 years ago when I moved to town!

I highly recommend getting your hair done by Cami! She’s very friendly, does a fantastic job, and the results are always exactly what I ask for! I couldn’t be happier with my hairdresser. It’s a bonus the studio is also very pretty and offers reasonable prices!

I love seeing Mandy here! She has been doing my eye brows and lashes for awhile now and she is amazing. Her facials are also fantastic! If you want a stylist that gets you, Smith + Simms is where you need to look. They understand the struggle. The owners are amazing for many reasons. From providing continuing education for the stylists on staff so everyone is up to date an the latest trends, to building their staff up so everyone is successful. My first experience was lackluster. I was charged for a cut + blow dry but was cut dry. The first stylist did not know how to point cut and used a texturizing shears around my face. I had to come back for a fix, and I was charged for that cut too. The fix was good and was worth the money spent, but overall I spent more money than my experience was worth.

Really enjoyed my experience here! I was lucky enough to work with Ally (but truly can’t go wrong with any stylist here!). Ally did a phenomenal job touching up my hair and bringing it back to life. I was nervous since it was the first time I haven’t used the same lady since I was born (lol). But I felt immediately welcomed & comfortable in this environment. 10/10 recommend for sure!!

Went in for a haircut and it was a 10/10 experience! I was asked everything and beyond on what I wanted out of a haircut. Ray was super proactive on finding the best style for me with my face frame and helping me make some choices that I absolutely LOVE! If you need some good hairstyle advice and the perfect cut, go to Ray!!

Zoe is amazing!!! I've always gone back home to Chicago to get my hair done. I finally decided to try a salon here and I'm glad I did. I have alot of hair and it's very thick. Zoe was friendly and really took her time cutting my hair. I'll definitely be back when I'm ready to color my hair. The salon is beautiful and everyone was very sweet. It made for a wonderful experience. I recommend anyone looking to get their hair done to come and visit Smith + Simms.
