This place is full of unprofessional people who think that they can just bully you into getting your haircut a way that you don't want to have a cut. They'll not let you see the stylus that you want for various reasons and then when you leave they'll tell you not to come back cuz they'll call the police? I've never had a bad experience in my life getting a haircut. Snapdragon salon is very unfriendly and they're actually very pushy and controlling. So beware

I recently returned to this salon after a hiatus from the area, and I'm so glad I did! Morgan made my hair beautiful and listened to exactly what I was wanting to fix about my hair. What I loved more os she was supporive of my going grey goals and did not try to push any color but offered options for when I am ready to add something in the future.

I travel to the area to visit family and was recommended to use them by a family member. Now every time I fly in I swing by for some hairapy! They always do a great job!

I have never left a salon thinking, WOW. But Emily absolutely killed it, I feel like I finally found my stylist! She really puts a lot of thought into what your hair needs, she looks at it thoroughly, and talks about exactly what you’re looking for. Seriously, I have never experienced such a great consultation before and have never left thinking I freaking LOVE my hair but I am obsessed. All my friends and family saw me and said, thats you in a haircut. I cannot recommend her enough. Now I have no choice but to get my haircut more than once a year 😝

I LOVE MY HAIR! My personal life is not the best right now and felt numb walking into my appointment. I got a wolf cut from Shawnna and I LOVE IT!! Seriously brought such joy to a bleh moment in my life. I wish I tipped her more ❤️ seriously can't stop staring at myself. Thank you for making me feel pretty again!! Highly recommend this place and HIGHLY recommend Shawnna

I saw Ashleigh Nisse for a full cut and style and she was very knowledgeable about curly/textured hair and made my curls look the best they ever have! I definitely recommend Ashleigh at Snapdragon.

Horrible service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I came here excited and eager to finally get my hair done. They were rough with my hair, stylist talked me out of what I wanted. Seemed like she didn’t want to do hair that day. Hundreds of dollars later left with my hair looking no different. Ive never complained or had issues with any salons before. I was hesitant to ask for a refund or get it redone with them… I contacted them about it and they never got back to me. They do not care at all about their clients.

Wanted a refresh on my hair and Christian did not disappoint! We talked through tones and she gave my blonde a great lift that will also grow out well because of the way she blended it. I told her I wanted to keep my length and she was able to freshen up my hair by adding layers and taking the dead ends off - it actually looks longer now because it looks way healthier! Will definitely be going to see her again, she clearly understands blonde hair and she was so nice to chat with as well! I also thought the price was reasonable and the time was a lot quicker than other salons I’ve been to (where I start getting uncomfy in the chair). 10/10 recommend!

Christina knocked it out of the park! I have been getting my hair done by the same gal for 20 years. I finally got the courage to just go for it! Man what a great experience. The knowledge she has. Answered all my questions and concerns. I absolutely love my hair!

I can’t say enough good things about the work Christina did on my hair. She was absolutely wonderful. I’m new to the area and was looking for someone that specializes in blonde hair. It can be nerve racking to trust someone new with your hair but she immediately put me at ease. I found her through her Instagram and was so impressed by her work. I’m so glad I booked with her- she did not disappoint. I brought in some pictures and told her I wanted coloring that would require less frequent upkeep. She understood exactly what I wanted and communicated throughout to explain what she was doing. She was so thorough in the entire coloring process. She was also fun to talk to, very accommodating and made the entire experience more enjoyable coming from someone who feels like going to the salon can be a chore. The entire staff and Christina, especially, made me feel so good about my hair and were so kind. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a new salon and/or stylist.

I tend to be nervous when it comes to any change to my hair and have had bad experiences in the past, but Danielle has made me feel SO comfortable. She fully listens and genuinely cares about what I want. I would sincerely suggest anyone to see Danielle!!

I've been going here and seeing Christian for the past 2 years and would highly recommend to anyone! She always does a fantastic job of accommodating me and my busy schedule and knows exactly what I want/need whenever I come in. Beautiful balayage and foil work!

First time at snapdragon and it did not disappoint! There was such a warm and inviting vibe to the salon. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Danielle did my stunning hair transformation and I left feeling more than satisfied with it. They are an extremely talented hair stylist and specialize in shag and mullet haircuts! Also specializing in blonding and vivid colors! I’m so grateful they create such a safe space. I highly recommend scheduling with danielle!

I found Snapdragon in one of my more humbling moments, when I managed to severely tangle my hair with my fiancé’s small plastic round brush. If I needed another reason to marry my fiancé, it would be that he exercised extreme patience and problem solving by calling hair salons asking for availability as I stared in the mirror with scissors in hand after two hours of trying to remove the knotted brush ourselves. We’re new to the area and didn’t know where to go. After calling down the list of nearby salons, Snapdragon were gracious enough to squeeze me in between clients. When I arrived at the salon, I was met with empathy and kindness. Ashleigh was patient, understanding, and determined as she skillfully removed the hairbrush after about 2 hours. I’m truly so thankful for Ashleigh and her expertise. I’d also like to thank the entirety of the salon for creating an open and non-judgmental environment as I was feeling obviously silly, very vulnerable and defeated when I arrived. Thanks to Ashleigh and the team I didn’t have to show up to my engagement photoshoot with a bald spot the following week! Happy to have found my new, trusted salon by accident! P.S. we threw out the brush

It’s hard finding a great blonde hairstylist, who really knows the variety of hues from cool to warm as seasons change in our dry Arizona climate. Look no further!! Christian has been my hairdresser for the past 3 years and has not only helped me grow my hair out from a bob to mid-back lengths (with a variety of blondes in between) but also perfectly-matched extensions for special events. I always get compliments at work and when out with friends. #bestinbusiness

Best salon I have found in phoenix! I’ve been getting my hair by Kat for over a year now and she never disappoints. She is the GO TO for creative color. My spilt dye is no easy task but she nails it everytime! I have never gotten so compliments on my hair daily in my whole life. Also the salon is absolutely the cutest and the staff is always incredibly friendly :)

Christian is amazing! I went to her a few months ago with dyed brown hair and after two sessions she's lightened it to a beautiful bright blonde! My hair is still long and healthy and I'm honestly so surprised with how well it's handling transformation. Super happy with it! And the salon has great vibes, def recommend.

I highly recommend going here! I've been to so many salons and just couldn't find one that fit me. My hair is extremely thick and nobody has ever been able to cut my hair the way I wanted it until today. Harlee did such an amazing job on my hair I never looked at my hair and thought wow it actually is beautiful. My hair seriously looked like an insta photo. I can't thank Harlee enough for being so kind and understanding of what I wanted. If you want someone to treat you good and make you look your best go to her asap ❤️

I was in the chair for less than 15 minutes and charged $90. The stylist barely even looked at my hair and did the quickest trim I’ve ever had in my life. She paid no care at the shampoo bowl and had to get my hair wet with a spray bottle to remove conditioner that she had left behind. Last time I was in (my first appt with this stylist) I didn’t like the way she styled my hair so I told her I’d style it myself this time. Typically that would reduce the cost of the appointment, but no. I was charged almost $100 for a less than 15 minute appointment and left the salon with sopping wet hair that I will have to rewash because of the leftover conditioner. Please note that I am not opposed to paying top dollar for my hair appointments. I used to fork out hundreds of dollars for balayage, cut, and style. I just truly do not feel that the service I received today was worth $90. I arrived at 4:14pm and was checking out at 4:30pm (I specifically remember looking at the time because I thought, “wow that was fast”). I’m bummed because it is difficult to find a good curly hair cut, but I will be writing Snapdragon off my list.

FIRST CURLY CUT IVE EVER HAD!! i’ve struggled finding the right stylist to cut my hair. my hair turned curly about 5 years ago and only recently have i began to embrace my curls. looking for the right stylist is hard, but DANI took such good care of me!! i made an appointment with her for a curly cut and later she also toned my highlighted hair. dani took the time to get to know my hair — which comforted me knowing i went to the right person and place. every step, she informed me of everything she was going to do, and she also gave me helpful tips that way i can take care and style my own hair at home! she is very sweet and very knowledgeable. i’m happy to trust her with my hair. this was my first time someone else used the diffuser on my hair. i’ve seen plenty videos about how to do it, but doing it myself wasn’t very easy. however, dani provided such good information on how to achieve the best curls and make them last longer. this haircut was honestly the best decision i’ve made. i feel utmost happy with my experience here at snapdragon and with dani, i truly feel like the universe guided me here. though it’s a bit far from me, i will definitively come back again :) ALSO !!! funny side note but dani is amazing at washing my hair LOL! i feel like i was at a spa the way she washed my hair. other places i’ve been to, they just .. feel like normal hands washing my hair. but dani really went in and massaged my head and omg it was so relaxing. love her so much !!! in the first picture you can see how my hair looked for awhile (i cut 5-6 inches off right before i saw dani). in the new pictures, you can see how beautifully she cut, toned, and styled my hair!! (btw she gave me a wolfcut ! the layers were perfect to give me the volume i wanted) . i was absolutely astonished when i saw the final product. i’ve never seen my hair look like this before!!! dani brought out the potential my curls had and i am so very happy with the results. amazing job :)

Got cancelled twice for no reason and it was never communicated with me. No email, no message, no call, nothing that they needed to cancel my appointment. I was so looking forward to my haircut and balayage and made sure I had the days off work to make this appointment. Just wasted my time and gas for nothing just very disappointed.

Jasmine was AMAZING! She tamed my curly hair (which my curly girls KNOW is a difficult task) and walked me through the best way to style and keep up on. I have the curls I've always dreamed of and a place that knows how to provide for them. The salon is cute and comfy and the atmosphere is beautiful. I highly suggest.

Traci Barrett attentively listed to my concerns and expertly tailored the haircut to achieve the exact look I desired. As my hair grows out, it continues to look fantastic, perhaps even better than initially. After many disappointing experiences with top stylist in their field, I had almost lost faith in finding the right stylist. However, Traci has changed that perspective. I intend to be a loyal client for a long time. Thank yo so much , Traci, for great service.
