I used to have a fantastic stylist relationship with Sarah, one day I asked for a red color mix of a deep red & a reddish auburn highlights with what I showed over a brown base. I had a photo that the show_ed it. I may be describing the colors wrong, however, I had a photo nevertheless. She did bleached babylights 1st & they were super light ( Only later when I went to diddfffdfferent Salon to fix it, did I find out it was lightened too much).. The red didn't take!! )

After a fairly negative experience at a different salon that left my daughter's hair an absolute disaster, we started going to Sarah at Salon Beyond. I don't know what else to say, other than: I simply don't trust anyone else to cut her hair. She's 8, and very sensitive. Sarah always does a wonderful job, and my sweet daughter is never overwhelmed or upset when we leave. She looks forward to going every time, and we get compliments on her hair constantly. After seeing what she could do, my wife decided to trust her with the infamous bangs decision, which is a tightrope, obviously. Sarah navigated it expertly and my wife looks fabulous!! These are very kind people who are great at what they do! We don't go other places.

Rachel was amazing! She’s so talented I was in KC for a black tie wedding and she completed an updo. Gorgeous!!! The salon is so authentic and charming. They also have a great selection of products.

The salon was incredibly friendly, inviting, and had great conversations. They offered me tea, coffee, beer, or wine. Cute brick walls, skulls and mirrors and florals. Great and easy to find location right on 39th street. And oh my gosh! I couldn't gush more about Rachel! She was so kind and great! She listened to me and took care of my hair. Was honest about any questions I had, talked to me like a friend. All of the products she used smelt AMAZING and I definitely bought some before leaving. I've had a hard time finding a stylist that I fully trust and she won me over! Haha! I will definitely recommend trying out this place if you haven't already. I also got to talk to Sarah and she was awesome and kind as well!! I had years of home bleaching and coloring and Rachel was able to even out my hair to a full bleach platinum blonde like a blank slate. I will eventually color my hair again but I am so, so happy with the way it turned out and will be rocking the blonde awhile! I also got a bang trim and she even styled my hair a little bit after she was all done. I am excited for the next time I come back! :)

Y’all I’ve been going here to see Adam for YEARS! If you need a fade he’s got you! Like I’m getting so many compliments on my hair. He’s meticulous in the best way. Plus, everyones so nice here and the prices are amazing. 5 stars over and over again.

Love this place! I had a difficult time finding a place in KC that I really like, and this place finally made the cut. They have a great atmosphere and friendly stylists. I've gone to Anissa, and she does wonderful work!

Five stars for this salon: the service, the products, the vibe, the location and parking. All great! We brought our kids here for haircuts, and ANISSA was excellent with them. It was really a treat for us all, just the right amount of music, chatting, and relaxing, while getting great haircuts and blowouts at good prices. Thanks, Salon Beyond! Don't change. Highly recommended.

Sarah is the most amazing stylist/colorist I have ever been to in my life. I don't say to trash talk other stylists I have visited but Sarah takes your hair to a new level of health and appearance. I didn't know some of the things I wasn't loving about my hair were fixable. I wasted three years living in KCMO when I wasn't going to Salon Beyond.

Talent and personality in one package! I adore this place and these people! I get great hair cuts every time. She takes into account what you want and what your hair needs to look your best! I've even trusted them with my first eyebrow wax and Sarah did an amazing job with my big ole caterpillars!
