I will NEVER come back. I walked in since no one answered the phone. Three girls were working and there were two customers being “cared for”. I stood there for about a minute waiting to catch one of their glances that never came. I then sat down, waiting to be acknowledged - which never happened. So I went somewhere else. I’m not paying for this kind of rudeness

Look, I've got some of the best hair in Raleigh, maybe even the entire Eastern United States. That being said, I won't let just anyone touch my hair so I sought out the most best place to go and this is it. Unfortunately for you, they can't make your hair as pretty as mine, but they are absolutely top notch hair professionals and take the best care of you using incredible products. As long as I have these long luxurious locks, soapbox salon is the only place that will get their sharp objects near them.

Such a great experience! Came in for my appointment, and it was so quick and easy. The salon is bright and beautiful and Carly did an AMAZING cut on my hair. I was so tired of the same style and she talked through what I wanted with me and I'm so happy with it. They do free consultations, in case you're not sure what you want, and I'm sure all of the stylists are as fantastic as Carly.

I had a full blonde balayage by Dena and the did an absolutely amazing job! She had to correct my last stylist's job on my hair and she did it beautifully while giving me exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend and I'll absolutely be a repeat client.

Carly and all the other stylists are fabulous. They listen to your ideas, talk over options and then produce beautiful styles and colors. I've been going there for 4 years and I have to yet see anything less than gorgeous hair when they are done

Great personalized service. They not only do an excellent job cutting and styling hair, they listen to your wants and needs with perfect attention and offer tips on products and habits to maintain that great look and healthy hair. P.S. I highly recommend Dena. She has taken great care of me and my hair, and has provided very useful knowledge on how to care for my unique hair needs.

I LOVE Dena. I have been to her twice. She always delivers. She's really knows what she's doing and listens to what you want. She's efficient, and makes sure that in the end there is no small tweaking that you need to make it 'perfect' for you. I highly recommend her!

I recently came to soapbox to find a stylist as I was unhappy with my old one for the last year and was getting married so I wanted to look my best on my wedding day. I booked an appointment with Molly and I am so happy with how it turned out. My previous stylist was only giving me a partial highlight and using semi permanent hair color so my hair looked terrible and brassy within a few weeks of my appointment. Molly was patient and gave me beautiful thin natural highlights and lowlights lights which took way longer than our allotted appointment time but she wanted to make sure my hair was perfect on my wedding day. Happy to have found a new stylist!! Thanks again molly!!

I usually don’t write reviews but $200 later And no change to my hair was very disappointing ...said they would re-do it if I didn’t see a change in a couple weeks (bad lighting in the space,so I couldn’t see if before I left)and I got No response when I reached out 2 weeks later..Even said she taught a class... it’s too bad because I wanted to find a place in Raleigh I liked.

When it comes to getting my hair cut I’m always extremely nervous! Molly makes you really comfortable and walks you through every step of the hair cutting process! I haven’t really found anyone down here that I’ve actually stuck with but she is now my go to person! She cuts and colors my hair exactly how I like it!

I came to Soapbox and Molly after an experience at another local salon which left me with completely damaged and weird looking hair. Molly was awesome. I only scheduled a haircut to get rid of my wrecked ends, but Molly recognized almost immediately that I was also unhappy with the color, and came up with a fix that was quick, inexpensive and amazing. The cut was super cute, especially considering I had to have at least 2-3 inches cut off. I walked in to Soapbox hoping to be *less* unhappy with the state of my hair, and walked out absolutely loving it! Molly is intuitive and talented, and I will definitely trust her and only her with my hair in the future. Sidenote: Carly has been cutting my boyfriend’s wildly curly locks for years and he absolutely loves her!

My curls look amazing!!! The Brazilian Blowout treatment is life changing. My curls look even better than I anticipated. Healthier, softer, & defined! Molly used just the right amount of tension and heat to make the curl perfect without eliminating the curl and making it too straight. Expert in her craft for sure! I can’t stop looking in the mirror - I would say touching it but curly hair ladies we all know that's taboo lol. Instead of spending an hour and hundreds of dollars worth of products to try to maintain the frizz it literally took me ten minutes to make it perfect this morning. Imagine how much extra sleep I'm going to get! Worth every penny! This was my first but definitely won't be my last.
