So excited about my hair! Thank you Sydney for an amazing job, you knocked it out the park and I finally am excited to do my hair every day! Before it was always either up or down because I didn’t feel like doing much with it, but now I can easily curl it too, and am trying out braids and all the fun stuff. You’ll probably need to teach me some more styles, ha! PS I love the Oribe Très Set structure spray, my favorite “mousse” product I’ve tried so far.

New Customer, no one notified lady that was going to cut my hair that I was there, So I sat waiting for 30 mins, I arrived 15 mins early. My haircut is ok but she cut layers and didn’t blend them!!!!! So my hair is ballooning at the bottom. And CHOPPY. I couldn’t tell until I washed my own hair and blew it dry. Not sure what school the stylist train at but I was not impressed. I just can’t find a good stylist in the Baton Rouge area. I used to live in Belle Chasse and had the same stylist for 8 years, can’t find anyone like her in this area!!!!!!

Soho never misses!! I love to treat myself with a blow out every couple weeks, and Loren always does a fantastic job! Great with men’s cuts, too!☺️ I will always recommend Soho for any of your hair needs!

It's probably been 5-8 years since I had someone cut my hair, mostly because it's just impossible for me to prioritize that in my life. But it got to the point where I needed professional attention and a friend recommended Soho. I needed a weekend appointment and someone who is knowledgeable with cutting naturally curly hair, and I got an appointment with Sarah. She was very patient in listening to what I was trying to accomplish and how I usually do my hair. She took her time with the cut and also showed me some recommendations on drying and styling, both techniques and products. I could not have asked for a better experience. You never know what you're going to end up walking away with when you go for a haircut with a new person, but I am pleasantly surprised and thoroughly pleased.

Maybe its my fault, since I am a dude, that I picked this place for a haircut, but they advertise it and it seemed like a boojie place to get a great haircutting experience. However, it felt more like a Super Cuts experience but for double the price. I arrived early for my appntmnt and even though my assigned hair stylist was done with her previous client, my haircut didn't start till a good 15 minutes after my appointment time. Initially I was brought over to the hairwash station for a wash, which I thought was odd to do before a haircut and when I asked the helper if they wash hair after the cut, she responded with "whatever you want" in a tone that sounded like it was an inconvenience to them. After, when I was seated at my stylist chair, I literally sat there for a good 5-10 minutes looking like an idiot waiting on my stylist who was no where to be found. I was willing to overlook that, but unfortunately even the haircut itself ended up being very mediocre and with no sign of a $45+ quality. It was literally over in less than 30 minutes, where as other studios will spend almost an hour on you. I have had much better haircuts at Garrett Neal Studio and Roosters for the same price or less. Not to mention the promptness and overall service was top notch at these other studios as well. This place seems to mainly cater to affluent housewives so I most likely wont be returning again.

Natalie did a great job with my hair, she was really focused and did her best to give me the cut/style I wanted 😊 and she was very personable too! Besides cutting hair, she's also really experienced as a hair stylist for weddings and pageants. Thought the atmosphere was pretty cool/different too. Liked how the waiting area was in the middle of the salon and you could look around and see all the stylists doing their craft. Also really appreciated that they offered me a drink when I came in! Will likely be back thank you! 😄

Absolutely love Soho Boutique. Have been going to Becky and Paige for years and they are outstanding at their craft. I live in NYC now but when I come back to Baton Rouge to visit family I still make an appointment to see them. From highlights and cuts to full makeup for my wedding day, they make you feel like an elevated version of yourself.

I cannot say enough about Sarah Velupillai at Soho! She has been my hair dresser for going on 15 years! Not only is she amazing and professional she very knowledgeable in her profession! I trust her to come up with the perfect color combination for my hair and she never lets me down. I highly recommend Sarah and Soho Salon!

Natalie did my hair and makeup when I was the maid of honor for a wedding. I’ve never looked better in my life!! I was completely obsessed with my look and didn’t want to change a thing about it.
