Sol is simply the best! She is so talented and does the best color and cut, hands down. I left Chicago 4 years ago and missed her so much, came back to see her this week and finally my hair is in great shape again thanks to Sol, she is so quick and has a magic touch with color. Nobody compares to Sol! ♥️

Amazing haircut experience with Sol, friendly and calm atmosphere. She listened to exactly what I wanted and she also gave great suggestions. Since I haven't gotten my hair colored in a while, she gave honest and encouraging advice on what would look good for my hair moving forward when I decide to color it.

Great salon! I had the European Facial with Nadin and it was amazing. My skin was soft and glowing after the first treatment. Nadin very attentive and took into account all my wishes. I am very pleased! I highly recommend Nadin 🫶🏻 I will definitely return to this Sol salon 😍

I want to thank the professional Nadin. Very neat and attentive. I did the Full Facial procedure. I am extremely happy with the result. Everything is clean and sterile, I love it! Also, the music is pleasant, for which I also thanks! I will definitely come back again! :)

Love this place! I recently got my hair permed here by Sol and she did an amazing job!! I’m so satisfied with my results. She was so helpful throughout the whole process and very enjoyable to talk to. Great atmosphere as well. Will definitely go back!

Nadin was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, i came for man facial, i loved the result and what my face looked like, especially 2days after the visit, felt like my face skin lost 7years of age))) Definitely recommend.

I’m glad I found this beautiful place ! The salon is super clean , new, cozy, nicely decorated and you come to have a really great time and the best treatment! Nadin made my skin super clean and smooth, I also have to say facial massage was exceptional ! I’ll back soon !

Sol is absolutely amazing! As soon as I walked in, I felt welcomed and listened to. I showed her the inspiration pics I’d brought for my haircut and she followed through perfectly and was honest about how the cut would only look like the pictures if I blow dried my hair and that if I straightened it, it would look different and I appreciated that so much. She was so sweet and knowledgeable and I’ve never had a regular stylist but now I do! I can’t wait to come back.

I had really long hair and got quite fed up with it, so I decided it's time to finally to chop it all off. I was both very nervous and excited for this moment, and I'm glad to say that the folks here at Sol made the experience absolutely fantastic! Gianni was SO wonderful, professional, friendly, and incredibly skilled at his craft -- not only was it fun to joke around and have a good time, but his expertise resulted in a haircut that I absolutely LOVED! Best part of all is that Gianni works with a non-profit that accepts hair donations, so all that hair will go to a good cause :^) If you want to feel welcomed, comfortable, and leave with a great cut, I can't recommend this place enough!! (Also note: the "after" picture is several hours after the styling was done, and it still looks fantastic!)

Booked a last-minute cut and came out with a cut I love. I showed Sol pictures of the cut I wanted, a long bob with curtain bangs, and she delivered. I loved her iterative approach, cutting the length off first and blowing my hair out, then trimming and adding layers to get the texture and weighting right, including making adjustments after I put my glasses back on to account for where they sit. Sol was both pleasant and efficient, and I definitely plan to go back for my next cut.

I’ve been looking for a good salon since I got here in Chicago and I think I found it! I showed Jeanni my preferred haircut with lot of layers and Jeanni did not disappoint! I literally just had my best cut, ever and mind you I have Asian hair. Also, the other lady did a good job in blow drying and curling my hair. They are very accommodating and friendly. I will definitely come back. 10/10!

My mom and I were luckily able to find a couple last minute appointments at Sol Salon and the salon owner took great care of us. She was very knowledgeable and provided recommendations regarding haircut and color that would look amazing and be easy to maintain! The environment felt super welcoming and we both left our appointments feeling amazing about our hair.

Sol Salon has been my go-to for a haircut and coloring. Sol has consistently been giving me my dream hair and is always so affirming. I recently had my first facial with Deyanira and it was so soothing. She took great care of my skin and I already signed up for another facial. I love these ladies, Sol Salon is my one-stop shop from now on!

Sol only touches my hair. Who touches yours? Not only shes great on her profession, but shes a great person with in and out. Clean shop, very professional, very knowledgeable and i don’t have more words but AMAZING! If you want to be head turner when ur walking everywhere, this is the best salon that made that happen.

I had been doing my hair at home during covid and it was in bad shape. Sol was so kind and listened to my requests carefully. I've had so many compliments on my hair. She did an amazing job and made me feel beautiful! Definitely going back.

Insensitive. Canceled a same day appointment for my mom bc my brother had a 102 fever. Stylist replied quickly, which was nice. We wanted to confirm the cancellation fee so we were not confused when we saw the transaction on the bank account. Then 2 minutes later the stylist posts a instagram “reminder” on her story that same day cancellation cause stylists money and so yes theres a fee…. That was insensitive and condescending. Yes, I understand same day cancellations suck but also no one plans to have a sick child. For that to be posted minutes after our conversation was too obviously directed at us and unprofessional.

I absolutely love my hair. I found Sol hair salon on Google and like the photos on the site and Instagram and decided to go for it. Best money spent, Sol met and exceeded all my expectations. Sol salon only services one customer at the time, so it’s super safe. Sol also takes her time with each client, I have a lot if hair and she never rushed. Great place for sure

My daughter has super thick hair and this was her first time getting dyed. It came out beautifully, and in my daughter's words, "It's 3,000,000% better than I hoped!" Sol was very helpful in listening to and working with my daughter on what she wanted, reassuring her that there wasn't anything to be nervous about, and very friendly and personable all around. I'd highly recommend to anyone wanting high quality work done well and reasonably.

I came in to Sol for her help fixing a bad highlight job and a more natural balayage. As you can see from my before and after pics here, she did an amazing job. She’s also adorable and so fun to talk to. I can’t wait to keep coming back here and would trust her with my hair completely.

I cannot recommend this stylist enough! She was warm, personable, and easy to talk to for the entire three hours I was there. My color was custom mixed and it came out absolutely beautiful. She made my vision come to life and I will be coming back to use her services for future maintenance. The single stall salon feels private and is filled with natural light to make a perfect relaxing environment. Treat yourself to her color magic, you won't regret it!

I honestly rolled the dice with coming to Sol, and I am so happy I did! Coming from a list of bad haircuts, hair dye, burnt hair, she managed to transform my hair so beautifully. She is such a sweetheart and a badass put together. I honestly appreciate her honesty and professionalism. She is amazing!
