If I could give zero stars, I would...this place is so lame. I had an appointment at 3:00 p.m. and I made it on time. The place only has 3 chairs and 3 mirrors, it's barbaric. I sat for 30 minutes while the person ate her lunch and all I could her was her talking on her cell phone in the back hides from sight of the customers. It's not my job to wait while she eats, I had no food all day and folks never consider your time, gas and taking off work. Run for the hills from this place!!! Such a waste of time, utterly disappointing and selfish.

Braider showed up late. I asked for box braids... I did not get box braids. Just regular braids. They do not know what box braids are obviously. They did work relatively fast although it would have been nice to get the style I wanted. I do not recommend for box braiads.

I got box braids, and I got there at the start of business. I was the only one there for about an hour. The person working on my hair kept going to other people who came in the door and starting their hair while leaving me in the chair. The box braids that I got only went to the middle of my back. What would’ve usually took about five hours took eight hours. Every time that someone would walk in the door, the individual who was doing my hair, would walk over to that person and start parting and doing other stuff to their hair while I sat in the chair and waited. This other woman walked in, and she got micro braids, so there were three people on her head while I sat there, Even though I was there before here she was completely done before me. when the time was up for me to pay the owner even try to charge me 20 extra dollars when I bought my own hair. They did not put the moose on the hair nor did they properly dip. My hair still turned out great though. I would say bring your o n moose and grease bc they were stingy.

The braids are beautiful and the the people who did the hair are that most amazing people to ever get your hair done by they have a great personality and great attitude and they are great for having a great conversation with it felt like talking to family

Did an amazing job on my hair, I'm usually tender headed and when braiding my hair and it hurts A LOT. But with them barely felt anything. MAGIC!!

I recently relocated from Colorado to New Mexico. In Colorado, I had a trusted stylist who would retighten my locs monthly using only a special tool, followed by a wash and dry. No chemicals were involved. However, my experience in at this place was drastically different. During the retightening session, the stylist applied a chemical to each of my locs. I initially thought it was harmless. My hair was also clipped down during the process. When placed under a dryer, my scalp began to burn. On washing my hair the next Monday, brown residue washed out, staining my towel and creating a mess. Alarmingly, this washing & drying caused my usually resilient locs to loosen, which never happened before. This experience was disappointing, especially since I adhere to a plant-based lifestyle and avoid chemicals in my personal care.

I’ve been to see Ms. Sola 5 times since I’ve been in El Paso and her and the ladies always blesses my hair with the gift of there hands! I am absolutely in love with my hair every time. This is definitely a shop worth trying out!

Recently got my cornrows done 4 of em for the price of $60. Little bummed out with the price I don’t usually pay for cornrows cause I always have a friend that does them for free but she left town so I had to find a new place. Went here for the first time, had me sweating in there lol, but still tried it out, came out decently looking, hair a little flaky, little hair still sticking out, but overall decent look. I took down those braids fast cause they didn’t last with how flaky they got and she cut bits of my real hair

I called to get prices and make an appointment. I had tons of questions. I believe I was speaking with the owner - SHE WAS AMAZING! So kind, confident and patient with me. Super Kind!!! I am excited about getting my braids down here in the future.
