I have been having Harvey do my color and haircuts since 1997 ! Amazing cutting talent! Absolutely the best ! I have lived in Florida since 2020 but come here every 6 months and sometimes more! People always ask me where I get my color done, Annapolis Md !!!! This shop really cares and I absolutely will fly back and forth as long as Harvey is doing hair ! See Harvey for an analysis and you won’t be sorry !

Waxer scalped me and then charged me $85. She was recommended to by my normal waxer who gives me. $45 bikini wax. Definitely won’t be back.

Many thanks to Harvey and team at Solace Salon & Day Spa. During this COVID time, I feel very safe in this salon. The attention to detail for cleanliness, sanitization and masking is excellent. The hair color and cut are the best I've ever experienced (and I've experienced many salons, including the whoop-tee-doo salons in NYC). Harvey highlights and cuts my hair more professionally than anyone else I've ever seen. I've been to salons where even though I'm the client, I feel they're doing me a favor to take me. That so doesn't work for me. However, Solace has talent without attitude.

Beautiful clean place but customer service sucked!! I'm rating this salon a one star because of the treatment I received today. Not only was I charged an arm and a leg, but the staff's attitude left me upset the whole afternoon! It was as if they were doing me a favor for providing a service. Lynn started by asking me if I want to to hear pricing. She had such an attitude which really threw me off in the first place. She went on and on telling me the extra charges such as $10 if I want to keep the coffin shape and $5 to cut down the nails etc. which came to $65. Who charges for a cut down and shape??? Isn't that that part of the service??? I was so shocked and couldn't understand the reasoning behind the extra charges - all I wanted was to transition from acrylic to gel with a clear polish. After a back-and-forth I realized it was changing into a confrontation. The tipping point was when she put in brand new nails and cut them so short without consulting with me. Also my pinky nail bled when she filed my nails - I am still unsure why I endured such a behavior instead of walking out. Total came to $86 (which included a pedi). I didn't leave a tip which was so unlike me but I couldn't reward such a behavior which left a bad taste in my mouth. It was a totall disappointment. I will never go back to this place.
