When I visit Kansas City, Solaris Massage is high on my list of places to visit. I am a frequent traveller, and finding a spot to escape the bustle of airports and hotels is very important while on the road. Solaris is located near downtown, the P&L and Crown Center, so its convenient to get to and easy to find. The space is warm and inviting and you can tell that the space is set up with intent and consideration in order to make clients feel at home. The staff are brilliant! I have been several times and had a different therapist each time. The therapist exhibited a great level of professionalism and I knew I was in good hands. They took their time to understand my needs and left me feeling relaxed, comfortable and ready for my next visit. When you are in KC, do yourself a favor and book in with Solaris.

It is important to me to have a therapist who's been fully vaccinated. I had an appointment with John , and he was fantastic! The massage itself was amazing! I have some medical issues with my neck but he eased immediately and I felt John had done better for me then the doctors these last few years! I felt comfortable, safe and also incredibly relaxed. Highly recommended!

I have been seeing Kip over 15 years. I've tried the rest but she's the best! She asks about pain issues and addresses them effectively! I have booked gift massages for family and friends with other Solaris staff and they are always enthusiastic. I live in Excelsior Springs but the drive is worth it, believe me! You will glad you chose Solaris!

I've been struggling with some ongoing health issues, and this massage was a huge help in easing the residual stiffness and pain I've been dealing with! The space itself is also incredibly unique, it has a very personal and authentic vibe—nothing like the cookie-cutter feel of big chain spas. I was in town for business this week and was wanting a good massage after work wrapped up. I found Solaris Massage online and loved the convenience of its location right in the heart of downtown. I stayed up the street on main and riding the street car and walking over was very easy and straightforward. Kip worked on me for 90 minutes and I have to say this was one of the best massages I’ve had in years. Kip was a true professional, working through knots and soreness I’d been carrying forever it seems. I was so relaxed I passed out half way through! After my massage, Kip mentioned Solaris Massage has been in business for over 20 years! No wonder they know what they are doing. I will be back for sure next time I visit Kansas City!

In town for a two-week professional event. Was in search of a massage for some relief from 8 hours a day, 12 days in a row, in a chair and staring at a laptop. My 60-minute massage with Kip was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Short 15-minute walk from the convention center/Loews hotel. 10/10 highly recommend!! Thanks Kip and Solaris!!

I was recently in Kansas City, Missouri waiting on a flight so I decided to kill time by getting a massage. It was freezing outside (wind chill of 26° & snowing) when I decided on Solaris Massage due to their reviews Once GPS lead me to their location, I found parking immediately right out front which was great! When I walked over to the doors that appeared to be their front entry, they were locked. I was a bit puzzled so I walked around the side of the building and saw a sign that read, "Solaris Massage entry around the corner" with an arrow pointing to the right. I wasn't sure if it was in a different building or not so I drove circles around the block a few times before deciding to call. I spoke with a receptionist who informed me she was not at the location & would have to email Solaris to see if they had any available times. A few minutes after hanging up, I received a text message saying, "Hello Liana, we're sorry but we do not accept walk-in's. Thank you for choosing Solaris, Goodbye." I was pretty bummed because I had my mind set on a massage and the time was now nearing me needing to be at the airport. So, I didn't get a massage at all & wasted a good amount of time with a company that didn't accept walk-in's. Had that been specified on their website, I would have either made a quick appointment or chose a different business that DID accept walk-in's. Perhaps BOLD FACING your "no walk-ins welcome," would catch people's eye so they don't waste time as I did for nothing.

My 90 minute hot stone massage with Violisa was perfect! She worked through all the tough bits of tension in my shoulders without it feeling uncomfortable even once. The pace of the massage felt decadent and the pressure was just right. I always love my trips to this locally and woman owned business!

My partner and I both got massages here on our day off. My service was done by Zeth. He was bot intuitive and did ask plenty of questions to make sure everything went as needed. Although I didn't go to maximum pressure it was evident that he is strong. My partner was serviced by Violisa and said that she did a great job working out tension through pressure points. Also, without knowing there was an existing hip issue she did spend extra time on that part of the body. Overall it was a great experience.

Parts of the massage were relaxing, couples massage was awkward at first because they failed to ask me or my girl if we had a preference in male or female for our massages. The older gentleman wreaked my knees and they hurt bad going on 2 days now. I have to run and go to the gym so this is terrible. Nice people but weird feeling and pain after my massage. Do not recommend!
