Melissa did a fantastic massage for me. She was able to sense when to go deeper and when to go lighter, and she was able to release enough around my low back/glutes that I could walk and move without pain. She's also a lovely tarot reader, and I really enjoyed my reading. It was the best self-care I could have done.

Melissa is a wonderful trauma informed massage therapist. I just booked a session with her last minute due to tension in my neck and shoulders and she managed it beautifully. I have sexual violence history and she was very mindful. I felt very safe and comforted in her space and through the service. She is also very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations for movements I could do to manage the stress I hold in my shoulders in back outside of massage sessions. Overall very thoughtful, caring and helpful human, offering such a beneficial service!

This was my 2nd massage with Melissa and I can’t say enough good things. She has an amazing touch & ability to release tough spots, adorable studio space, and you’ll leave feeling lightheaded (in a great way!) and fully relaxed. It’s been forever since I had an incredible massage therapist and what a gift to have Melissa right in Ballard! ❤️🧡💛 (Also the piece of chocolate at the end is a lovely treat!!)

Melissa is a trauma-informed massage therapist and talented tarot card reader. I like to have virtual tarot readings with her, but her space in the historic district of Ballard is a serene and beautiful environment. She has helped me so much with her tarot readings, and I had never tried tarot before seeing her. It's been very insightful and informative for me. Go see her for any of her spa or tarot services if you can! I highly recommend it.

I received a "tech neck massage" with lymphatic soother, hot oil treatment, and craniosacral with Melissa. First, her energy was amazing, she was very gracious with me for running late and she was just full of light. The massage was incredible. I truly look like I dropped 10 years from the lymphatic drainage - I can noticeably see that many of my fine lines/puffiness have smoothed out. My hair still looks wonderful and shiny even after swimming/washes. Most impressively, I feel like I've dropped 10 years of pain/tension from my neck, shoulders, and chest. I'm standing straighter and my heart feels open. I deal with chronic pain from a bad car accident over a decade ago and this really gave me some relief. I'm excited to book with her again for a longer massage.

Melissa greeted us with a warm smile and a very inviting one cozy and safe environment. Her natural energy and warmth put all of us at ease right away. Three of us went in together for a reading to celebrate our birthday and it was such a memorable and fun experience. Melissa‘s knowledge of the Tarot is deep and embodied in her. She pulls relevant and helpful information as she reads and interprets each of the cards. Highly recommend her.

Absolutely the best massage ever!! Healing hands and worked all the tension out of my back. She took the time to allow me to breath through it and by the end of the session my back was not seizing up. The aroma therapy she uses while massaging is also so helpful. It helped me to open up and allowed me to relax more so Melissa could work out the tension. I also added on the hot stones and a lip scrub and they were amazing. I melted into the table. I ended up taking a very good nap once I got home. I also did a tarot reading and went in with an open mind and heart and I’m very glad I did. It just showed me an insight and new perspective for looking into my life right now. I would highly recommend coming here for either or just a massage or a reading. It was enlightening and I felt lighter and brighter once I left. ❤️😌❤️

I had the most wonderful, relaxing time with Melissa. I booked a tarot reading and a relaxing massage, and I left feeling just fantastic. The tarot reading was kind, honest, and illuminating. I feel ready and excited for the next chapter of my life! The massage was so healing and restorative. She uses the perfect amount of pressure to dig into muscle knots and tension, but without pain. The space is so cozy, and her prices are reasonable! I’ll be back for sure

Just had the most amazing massage by Melissa. I don’t know how I’ll accomplish anything else today because I’m such a relaxed noodle. Absolutely love the space with all the plants and the brick, plus Melissa pulls a curtain across making the room nice and dark during the massage. This was my second massage here and I’ll be back soon!

Melissa’s healing hands relieved all the tension in my body that I have been feeling for too long. Her beautiful space felt like a sanctuary where I could finally let go and relax. Her intuitive touch alleviated all the stress, pain, soreness and stiffness my body have been experiencing for months. Self care is important for all and it’s something I my self haven’t prioritized in my life. Soma Massage is going to be a regular escape for me to looks forward to every month.
