Amazing, miracle workers is all I have to say . If you are even wondering if you should try it please do so. I had almost given up and accepted my sunspots and melasma were just going to be part of life and to deal with it. After spending a ton of money on potions and a chemical peel from a dermatologist, my friend recommended Cathy. I went in with no hope, but after the first visit I was SHOCKED by the results! And the best part is it isn't crazy expensive and they don't push treatment plans. Also, everyone there is so kind and thoughtful with your time and they actually care. My self esteem is so much better and I can wear almost no makeup and not feel self conscious. Could not be happier!!!

This is a hidden gem! The spa is such a vibe! It offers amazing service for everything head to toe. If you need a facial to hair and nails or a body wrap they have it! Cathy is a magician with my facials!! I am so happy I found this place being new to the area …there are so many. How do you pick, but I have to say I found my spot!

Cassie Seeton is absolutely amazing at her job! I have been with her for 2 years now and each visit has been professional and with excellent communication. Being 50, it was time to start treating the fine lines around my eyes and that pesty neck area. Cassie took the time to listen to my concerns and knew exactly the treatment I was looking for. Also, I have started laser hair removal on my legs, bikini and underarms. Best decision I ever made! I am over the moon with all of my results so far. I'm looking forward to many more treatments with Cassie in the future!

Incredible med spa! They do more than skin treatments. I have had my hair done in their Hair salon many times over the years, enjoyed their IV bar and they now have a nail salon open late as well as spray tan, lashes and brows. Friendly staff, amazing owners and located 3 minutes from downtown. Lots of free parking in the quiet neighborhood of south Dallas called The Cedars.

Went in today for a customized facial and it completed blew my expectations. Rachel took care of me and I adored her! She was so thorough with all the steps and gave me great recommendations for my rosacea. I can’t wait to go back to get my brows laminated and another facial from Rachel. Brooke did an amazing job in helping me chose some products and explaining the concept. ❤️

As I am at the start of my skincare journey, I was a little hesitant. There’s so much information out there. I was not knowledgeable on where to start, what to do, and what steps to take to ensure great results. I started with Peni. I had asked her lots of questions about the process, cost and end results. She was very knowledgeable and answered honestly and informatively. I had the deep facial, dermaplaning, skin tightening, microneedling and laser. I plan on coming back to complete my skin care journey. Peni was gentle and explained every step of the way, so I know what to expect. She called and followed up the next day to see how my face was healing. She told me that next 10 days there will be big changes and to not be startled with the process. Thank you so much, Peni, for helping me jump start my journey and on my way to a new and improved me!

Never too old to try new things, and I am glad I tried out Something About Skin. I had a great experience with Peni and Cathy were both great. Both were extremely knowledgable and patients for a first timer. I had a hydrafacial and some laser hair removal. I was very appreciative of them explaining the process step by step and ensuring that I was comfortable throughout the process. Looking forward to continued treatments and trying out some of the other services.

The only facials I’ve ever seen great results from! I’ve only had a handful of facials in my lifetime. This one was a deep cleansing and skin tightening focused facial, Hydrafacials MD, a Dermaplane facial. I have never seen such great results that I did after Expert Medical Aesthetician and skin expert, Ms. Peni Nguyen. (side note: any facial you decide to have done by Ms.Peni, you will feel the same as I do!) Using top technology, my skin was left completely clean and happy. Plus, the facial felt so good and so relaxing with soft music, a clean room, and fresh air. With her expert knowledge in skin and skincare, I've benefited so greatly from her advice and she also gave me some skin regimen samples to take home. Not only is Ms. Peni knowledgeable and amazing at what she does, she is also extremely down to earth and very caring. She makes you feel so comfortable! After my experience, I not only left with a fresh face and a glow, but with a big smile too!”

Wow! Talk about a hidden gem. I was tired of looking tired and older than my age so I decided it was time to do something about it. Peni was AMAZING. Top notch customer service and attentiveness that made me really feel special and valued as a client. I won't go into detail on all of the services I received but I will sing the praises of Peni and the other ladies at this MedSpa. Everyone was laughing and having a good time doing what they love but were still 100% professional across the board. I was lucky enough to meet Catherine, Christine and Jeanie as well and they were all wonderful. If you're tired of looking tired and want to feel good and look great too, get in touch with Peni and the rest of ladies over here and they will have you looking and feeling right as rain in to time. Girlfriend dragged me here a couple weeks ago against my will, but I’m so glad she did! Had the best time and they were extremely courteous about letting us spend time together while also taking care of what we came there for. Also, shout out to Carole Anne! I was super nervous about the face scrub that involved the scalpel, and in noticing so, she made sure I was well tended and comfortable. Love that lady; Will definitely be coming back!

I personally only had a service with Cathy - but after my appt with her, I’d trust her entire staff with my life. She is the ultimate skin whisperer, I will NEVER go back to a dermatologist or another facial specialist ever again. Not only does she have so much knowledge and experience, but I feel like she’s looking out for a real friend when I’m being worked on in her office. I just started my skin journey with her, but after two days with her guidance I feel better than I have been with other Drs or specialists the past 10 years. Honestly it’s mind blowing that I was graced to come across her services and care/kindness. 10/10. If you need help with anything skin related…..this is the only person you need to see.

Sooo I’m kind of notorious for only posting reviews when it’s negative.. that being said I wish I could choose more stars for this review, THAT’S how good this place is. Mostly my services come from CaroleAnne and Cat and they truly THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS - but everyone here knows what they’re doing and really care about the processes. Talk you through everything from prep to aftercare, ensuring you feel safe/comfortable. They even talked me through the other processes the facility offers, everything you could need, they exceed.

I honestly can't say enough positive things about this place. Tracy and Cathy are both so kind, attentive, and informative. More importantly, the quality of services is exceptional, and the prices are fair. I relocated to Dallas last year, and unfortunately had several disappointing experiences at other medical spas before finding Something About Skin. At this point, I have had several different services done with Something About Skin and have always left feeling incredibly pleased with the results. I am honestly just so grateful to have found them here in Dallas. I cannot recommend them enough!
