Hey everyone do not go to this shop the customer service is horrible I was there and scheduled to get my hair retwisted a month ahead when my appointment came around I sit there an hour waiting the lady that was supposed to do my hair never showed up on time so someone else started to do my hair. first of all they didn't have any supplies to retwist with my hair. So instead she's use clear hair gel. I don't know if it's because I'm a guy but they treated me like I was not important so she stopped doing my hair he told me to sit down until the lady showed up to do my hair they charged me way too much for the length of my hair I wouldn't recommend this place to nobody and my hair still looks like nobody did anything.

I didn't get the name of the young lady who did my hair but she is a light complected lady that works closest to the window. She was so gentle and neat. I love my hair. It was the fastest I had ever had this elaborate of a job done

I was referred to Sonia from another salon.. She did an amazing job on my crochet braids. I highly recommend her. She was professional, timely and you could tell that she was passionate about hair and took pride in what she was doing. She helped me pick out the right hair from the shop nearby. She made sure I was happy with the quality, length, and style throughout the appointment. I will definitely be back!

Marriam always does a good job on my hair. Fair prices. Sometimes them talking in their native tongue can be uncomfortable. Not enough for me to stop patronizing them.

Be careful who you go to because everyone isn’t good. Sat for an extra 2 hours just to get it redone by another lady. A little unprofessional because once I asked to get it taken out, I waited 10-15 mins as they went into a corner and to me it looked like they were betting or gambling, i could be wrong. First and last time coming here. I gave 2 stars because although the first lady did a terrible job I was satisfied after it was done over by the other lady. They need to work on learning new styles and staying updated. It’s 2021 don’t ask for a picture of a style if you’re not going to do the style in the picture!

I got my braids done and had to go back not even a week later because the front braids and a few other braids had slipped out. Then a week in a half later more braids slipped out including the same ones that were redone! Not to mention I was on vacation and it was EXTREMELY embarrassing! At this point even more has came out I leave a trail from Walmart parking lot to the car the house a garage if you’re looking for me just follow the trail of braids! I wouldn’t refer them ESPECIALLY for how much I paid ! Although I got complements but looks are deceiving! Don’t waste your money or time!

I've been going to Sonia for over 10 years. Price is reasonable, staff is friendly, the shows on the TV are dramatic, my hair looks good always. From getting cornrows, to my dreadlocks journey, I've always left happy.

When first moved to San Diego went to this salon and they did a decent job on some box braids. Got some goddess locs and they fail out the next day. Got some passion twist there and the lady who did them braided my hair way to tight where I had a headache that wouldn’t go away. Requested the owner Sonia did my hair as there is no consistency when making appointments there you get whoever and they may not know how to to do the style toy want. Not a diverse shop in hairstyles. Tried to make an appointment with the owner who stood me up the day of my appointment told me would reschedule and never did. Called to make another appointment which she will always tell you she will call back. She will never call you back. Also will over book lie to you and say there not in but they are. Not honest people at all who don’t understand what customer service is even when your a loyal customer for almost two years. Quality of service has definitely went down the drain over the past year. Wouldn’t recommend going here unless you want your time wasted. You will not get what your looking for here as only one person knows how to do hairstyles who is rarely available. BE WARE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
