Great place for a cut/blow dry/styling! Ruth is attentive and warm! She brought my hair back to life! Also, very patient, as I know I can be a tough client lol, 10/10 recommend.

I found Sonia by complimenting a stranger’s hair who was walking by. She knows what to do with my fine hair to make it look fuller . Always keeps the time of the appointment and does not make me wait. her demeanor is upbeat and professional . I love my hair and my husband does too!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Sonia is a skilled professional. I have services there 3 different times and Sonia has kicked it out of the ballpark every time. I love the vibe, the services, the staff - all of it. Highly recommend. Great place.

I am giving 1 star because there are no options for 0 stars!! I had my appointment with Ruth and I asked her to curl my hair. By the time I got home I had no curls and couldn’t go back because I had a wedding to go to! I called to get a refund and they said that I would have to go back to fix my hair (with the same hair dressed that messed up) and that refunds were not allowed. Worst customer service. Would not recommend if you need PROFESSIONAL hair done for an event.

This was my second time at this salon with Ruth and she knocked it out of the park. The photo is about an hour after I left the salon. I got a wash, cut, blowdry, and style in about an hour. My hair feels healthy and they didn't weigh it down with too many products. With my fine hair curls pull out easily but these have stayed in all day. My cut was finished at around 12:30 and it's currently just after 5 pm and I'm still rocking a nice set of curls.

Very clean and well organized !! Fair prices. Sonia cut my hair and did a great job. She was able to fix the disastrous haircut from Supercuts. Eli was effective with the Mani / Pedi. Good place to go to.

Been going here for years. They are being cautious with Covid-19 by wiping everything down afterwards. They have everyone spread out. I feel totally safe going in for my haircut.

Sonia's Hair Designs is practicing way better COVID protocols than my parents' very well respected doctor's office, Spine and Wellness Centers of America (SWCA). Crazy times, right? You'd think your doctors office would practice better safety protocols than a hair salon. Sonia's - I parked, I called them from the comfort (and AC) of my car to let them know I was there, they called me when they were ready, they let me in (only me, not me AND my mother or sister or best friend or my third removed cousin), and they took my temperature before letting me in. SWCA - My mom walked right in with my dad to a waiting room packed full of people. No one took their temperatures. Sonia's - All of the staff at Sonia's were not only wearing their masks, but they were wearing them properly, covering their mouth and nose. SWCA - The receptionist was wearing her mask only covering her mouth despite the fact that she was in close proximity to all of the patients. Sonia's - They kept me 6-12 feet from other customers and staff the entire time I was there. SWCA - They packed their patients into the waiting room like sardines. They were 3 feet apart side by side and less than 1 foot apart back to back. Sonia's - If they're running late (which has happened once in all the years I've been going there), they call me and let me know so I can choose to come in later or reschedule. SWCA - When they're running late, they don't call you. You get to sit in a waiting room packed full of people for an hour, then sit in an exam room for another 45 minutes, and then just go home without even getting to see a doctor. Sonia's - Every time I'm there, they are cleaning CONSTANTLY. Every surface, every chair, the floor, the doors, all door handles, EVERYTHING. They wouldn't let me sit in a chair until they cleaned it right before I sat in it (and I saw them cleaning the hairstylists' chair and the shampoo chair I sat in as soon as the previous client left but they even cleaned them again before I sat it either of them). SWCA - In the hour and 45 minutes my parents were there, they cleaned nothing in the waiting room at all. Not once. That's a public area where all the patients can see what's being done or not. If they're not even cleaning that, I'd be terrified to go into one of their exam rooms. It's a sad day when I feel safer and more well cared for at my hair salon who are not medical professionals than I do at a doctor's office. It just goes to show how much the owner, the stylists, and all of the staff at Sonia's cares. Thank you guys for caring and putting in the extra time and expense to take care of all of us clients!!!!

Love this place! I have been going to this salon for years. Sonia, the owner, is awesome! They are always friendly & accommodating. My boys love getting their haircuts from Sonia, my stylist Karen is outstanding & my daughter likes to use both Karen & Nancy who is also great. Honestly everyone there from the stylists to the manicurist, to the cosmetologist & the ladies who wash your hair, they are all fantastic you can't go wrong here & you won't be disappointed.

Looking for a place to get your hair done, look no further because Sonia Hair Salon is the place to go! I've been going to Sonia's ever since I was a kid. What I love the most from this specific salon is the way everyone makes you feel from the moment you walk in, their staff is extremely friendly + they know what they're doing. I always get my hair done with Ruth & my facials + wax with Belkis. I honestly feel like their prices are fair & the service you receive is impecable! Thank you Sonia Hair Salon for all that you do!
