Leah had done my hair for years before I moved from VB. She is AMAZING! As a blonde, it is hard to get someone who is consistent and able to pull the perfect brightness. Leah did a perfect job every time! She was even very accommodating to me when I had my daughter. She’d let me bring my daughter and was always super chill. HIGHLY recommend ❤️

Sonshine is a great, smaller salon… not overwhelming. Very comfortable, welcoming and personal. I have met many wonderful woman there. Leah does my hair and she is absolutely amazing. Plus, she always finds time to fit me in, even if I ask last minute (I don’t recommend doing this of course). Services are priced very reasonable for the quality of work received. I’m grateful our paths have crossed, thank you!! Definitely recommend giving them a try!!

We moved up to Va last year, and I looked at several salons, but nothing stood out. I was driving by Sonshine Hair Studios and went in and talked to the owner (Leah) about what I wanted, and she said she could do it. So I booked my first appointment. I've been here ever since and can't imagine going anywhere else.

Leah has an amazing hair extension salon on Pleasure House Road in the Chics Beach area of Virginia Beach, Va. During Covid times I accidentally cut bangs and tried to fix it myself. Then turned my hair into a mullet. Leah put extensions in my hair and was able to take me on random times to help me stop cutting my own hair. She was so helpful and thoughtful, her prices were great. She always gave me good advice truly caring what was best for me. I highly recommend anyone needing extensions go to Sonshine Hair Studio. I just went through a change in my life and decided to give my hair a new look, I was recommended to go to Sonshine Hair Studios, where Mrs. Leah did my hair and I was amazed and in love with the final results of my new hair, could not be happier! Definitely will be going back. Overall was a very clean, comfortable atmosphere, and was really sweet. She does everything she can to make sure you get the result you walked in wanting!

April Crawford destroyed my hair when I had it colored last month. She was also acting drunk for the last portion of my appointment. Never again.

Denise did a wonderful job cutting my hair and repairing some of the damage/breakage done from getting it colored, the ocean and heat. The cut was super cute too! She also gave me useful tips on the best type of haircut for my type of hair (thin, naturally curly) and also what products to use to help nourish it and support its health. The price was also very reasonable. Will definitely come back to see her!

Leah is amazing!! My hand tied hair extensions slipped right after I moved to VB and she went out of her way to make sure I got it all fixed up and even tightened them to make them last longer. 🙌🏻 She knows what she’s doing and she genuinely cares about her clients. Needless to say, I’ve been going back to her ever since that first slip and I’m SO grateful. 100% recommend 😊

My experiences are always terrific. Denise treats me so well and fixes my hair much better than I ever could but in the process makes it a little easier for me to style - not near as attractive. Small hair salon that cuts men and women. Very clean inside. And you can get a cup of coffee or water. VERY REASONABLE pricing and a good cut. They allow tips on the card and I'm now a repeat customer. Did I mention easy parking!?
