I read Sophia's reviews on her hair braiding skills and she had amazing reviews on how well and neat she braids and most of all how nice she is and her customer service. I decided to go to her and when I say my braids were beautiful, neat, weren't too tight and everywhere I go I get compliments. Most of all she's so sweet and knowledgeable on healthy hair care on how to take care of your braids. I made 2 more appointments before I left her salon. Sophia thank you so much!!!! See u next time.

I have been to Sophia's braiding twice so far, and both times were AMAZING!! She is kind, and patient with her customers. She is understanding and from my interactions with her, I could tell that she loved providing excellent service to her customers. Ms. Sophia genuinely provides quality hair braiding services and educates one on caring for your hair and the braids. She goes above and beyond, wonderful personality and is QUICK! Sophia was AMAZING! My knotless braids were the best I’ve ever had. They are super light, neat and have lasted me over two months. I recently went to get my braids retouched and my hair looks like I got it completely redone. She is the only braided I will go to from now on!

This is my third visit with Sophia. I paid $20 deposit and then $160 ($180 total). My hair is very neat and it does look nice but it wasn’t 100% what I wanted. I regret not speaking up more. I wanted to do armpit-length knotless braids in color 4, and I told her that over the phone. When I came in, I saw the hair she was using was really dark, but I figured maybe it was the lighting, or that’s how color 4 looks in person. I had also blow-dried my hair before the appointment, but when I got there, she blow-dried it again, and I saw the dryer piece she used was really dirty. I hope in the future she can improve on that as well. Then I told her I wanted to curl the ends, and I showed her an example—it was obviously curly ends—but she said, “Oh, so it’s wavy,” and then started braiding the ends together and dipped them in water. I didn’t say anything because, at this point, I realized the color of my hair was also wrong, and she was already done, so I wasn’t going to bother asking her to do it differently because I didn’t want to inconvenience her. She had also asked me if the length was okay (it was longer than I wanted) and offered to cut it shorter but I told her it was fine. She cut the ends anyways so now they’re a bit uneven and choppy. Overall, I do appreciate her kindness and the fact that she provides hair. She does braid very quickly and she does care about your hair and offers tips. My first two experiences with her weren’t horrible, I just hope she can improve on tucking the hair better. Even after my appointment this time, I can already see the ends of my hair coming out of the braids. I was disappointed that my hair color was wrong and it wasn’t the length I wanted. Next time I will better advocate for myself because I should have said more.

I went to Ms. Sophia for the first time over the summer and she was amazing. I highly recommend her to do your braids! She has a great personality and is a fast braider. I will always come back to get my hair done!

I love, love, love my hair!!! Sophia answered my call at 12:30 a.m. and graciously offered to return to the shop to do my hair. She definitely went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. She is a true professional and I am truly glad that I found her!

Sophia is a great braider and also offers great customer service. This is my second time going to her and she always gives me helpful information on treating my hair. She referred me to a hair specialists to help my hair get back stronger and to come back to her in 3 months. I really appreciate that because she is really trying to help the health of my hair instead of just taking my money!

I cannot say anything bad about Sophia! I called at the last minute to inquire about large knotless braids. Sophia was adorably sweet and fit me in within the hour! I had the absolute fastest braiding session of my life. She was kind, friendly, and we talked like old friends! THIS IS THE EXPERIENCE YOU NEED! LOL. I am very pleased! I started this review before I even finished. That's how you know it was a wonderful experience lol. I cannot wait to visit her again, we've already confirmed my next appointment! I went there today to get bohemian knotless. The reviews were absolutely correct. She is amazing! She finished my hair in a timely manner and it came out looking beautiful. The price is affordable. She also makes you feel very comfortable while you're sitting in her chair by creating good conversation. Also, it is very clean. I will be recommending and returning.

Long-lasting, gorgeous braids received a lot of compliments! In only around four hours, the hair was done perfectly, without causing any discomfort or pain either during or after it was done. Will be coming back! Make a booking as soon as possible!

Very speedy service ( I was able to get waist length medium knotless braids done within three hours) and she is accommodating to what I needed to get done based off of the picture I sent her with my own ideas mixed in.

this is my 2nd visit, i got small knotless braids that are back length for $180! ($20 deposit included) the braids are very neat and dont hurt at all. sophia is very nice as well! my first visit i got butt length knotless for $220 total and they were also very cute as well! they weren’t heavy at all. my only complaint is that with my braids in the back of my head you can already see my natural hair coming out after less than a day has gone by. this happened to me immediately the day after my first visit as well but i thought it was just because i have 4c hair. regardless, sophia is very nice and the salon is clean and she includes hair as well
