The location on Martense is better and the workers are a bit friendlier. I started coming here and kept going only because it was closer to my job. One time I was there, once of the ladies washed my hair so hard with her nails that my scalp was cut up after. After some weeks of continually going there…my scalp became soooo DRY! Dry to the point when I turn my head, my scalp felt tight…like it was going to crack. Then I developed a horrible dandruff. Like I had some kind of fungus. My scalp was crazy itchy and dry. It was horrible. Then my hair began over shedding. Now I’ve always had a lot of shedding but in the few months going there, you could see the difference. 3-4 months hair loss was very visible. Visible to the point I had to cut down all my hair. I got the regular wash, deep condition, set and blow dry every two weeks (yes I know a lot of heat and that plays a factor to shedding as well). Think I got a perm from here twice. The last time I went to this location was in October I believe. I watched as one of the workers scratched a lady’s scalp multiple times while she was roller setting her hair. She put her under the dryer and went to the sink to rinse the comb out for about 3 seconds. She then went and take someone out from under the dryer who was getting a deep condition and comb their hair WITH THE SAME COMB! Didn’t switch the comb or disinfect it in the barbicide. This is how people get dandruff and fungus from salons without even knowing. Poor cleaning and disinfecting procedures. I never went back to this location after that. Would not recommend this place.

Came here because a friend told me they charged $25 for blowouts. They charged me $70. The lady who did my hair was super rude and clearly not that knowledgeable about black hair (everyone knows you don't just comb from root to end). Never again.

Expensive and the blow out isn't great. They charged me to use the hot iron $10 extra because I asked them to use it after I saw my hair wasn't as straight as I usually get it at other dominican salons. NEVER AGAIN

I went in for a wash, cut, and style. I showed 3 pictures of what I was looking for. I was looking for like a shoulder length lob cut/short wavy look. I know my hair is thin and we agreed on layers for added volume. She said she was going to put my hair in rollers to help with the volume which I’ve had done before. She took my hair out of the rollers and only wanted to pick them out a little bit. Leaving my hair curled up and I was like no.... and showed her the picture again. She gave me a blow out and it looked so grassy and horrible. I wanted to cry. I paid then went home and immediately washed my hair out to undo what she did and I’m praying I can fix it

They will quote you one price and when you ready to pay you will be charged at least 20 more.. They use good products on the hair.. But both salons try to rob you

Great place. My hair is done to perfection every time. Super Clean environment compare to local competitors. Very Comfortable. Equipment is Clean, sanitized and all works. No broken dryers etc. Service is very efficient. Staff is Not too friendly, maybe due to language barrier but very polite.
