Trigger Warning: SA If I could give a hundred negative reviews I would. So the reason why I choose this place is because it was my partners bday and he wanted to go to the Getty museum since it just reopened due to the fires and this place was really close by. Based on the online reviews, we expected a relaxing and professional experience. When we arrived, the spa appeared clean, charming, and peaceful. The front desk staff were friendly and checked us in quickly. Before the session, I mentioned to one of the front desk attendants that I had a very stiff upper back. She recommended a mix of massage techniques and suggested a male masseuse, Cesar. As a gay man, I generally feel more comfortable with female therapists, but I trusted her recommendation and agreed. The massage started normally, but after some time, I began to notice something disturbing—Cesar’s crotch repeatedly brushed against my hands. At first, I tried to dismiss it as unintentional, assuming it was just a result of his positioning. However, when he was massaging my right arm, he again positioned himself so that his crotch was in contact with my hand. This time, when he reached to massage my hand, he squeezed it—forcing me to make direct contact with his crotch. He then had the audacity to ask if I was okay. At that moment, I was in shock, doubting what had just happened and questioning whether I was imagining it. The rest of the massage continued without further incident until he had me turn onto my back. While massaging my chest, he leaned over my head, bringing his face uncomfortably close to mine. At one point, I am almost certain he attempted to kiss me. I turned my head away, deeply disturbed, and at that point, I just wanted the massage to end. I resolved that if anything else inappropriate happened, I would walk out immediately. Thankfully, he did not take it further, and the session concluded. Feeling completely violated and disgusted, I quickly got dressed and headed to the front desk. My heart was racing, but Cesar was still present, so I hesitated to say anything in front of him. When he eventually left, the front desk attendant asked if I wanted to leave a tip. That’s when I tried to express what had happened, though I struggled to put my experience into words. The staff member seemed shocked and insisted that nothing like this had ever been reported before. She told me she would contact the owner to see what could be done. However, instead of calling the owner, she went to the back and brought Cesar out, instructing me to repeat my complaint to him directly. This was incredibly inappropriate and retraumatizing. Thankfully, my partner was there to support me, but the entire situation felt mishandled. Unsurprisingly, Cesar denied everything and provided weak excuses. Even more disturbingly, the front desk attendant took his side, reiterating that he had been working there for years without issue. Let me be clear—I know what happened. I know what I felt. No denial or excuse can change that. I was 100% violated. The fact that the staff prioritized protecting an employee over ensuring customer safety is beyond unacceptable. I waited 24 hours for the owner to contact me regarding this incident, but no one ever reached out. This confirms that they care more about their reputation and employees than the well-being of their customers. I want to emphasize that I am not seeking a refund—I could not care less about the $270 I spent on this couples massage. My only concern is holding Cesar accountable so that no one else has to endure what I experienced. It is also worth noting that many positive reviews mention Cesar by name, but almost all of them are from women. This makes me question whether he only targets male clients. Regardless, no one should ever have to experience this. For your safety, I strongly urge you to avoid Soul Spa. This establishment does not take allegations of misconduct seriously, and they are complicit in protecting an employee over ensuring the well-being of their clients.

Overall great massage: experienced therapists, cute decor, and clean. Found easy street parking right in front; it’s located off a busy street so easy to get to. I got my punch card so I’ll be coming back.

I love this location although I prefer to avoid by all cost deep tissue message it was extremely painful and I have had an extremely different outcome at another location but for the price and supporting women with their own business this is a super plus

I had an AMAZING massage with Cesar today. This place is great. Very clean, friendly, heated massage table, and best of all, a wonderful massage. I can’t wait to return.

Caesar has magic hands. I am so glad I found him. He worked out knots I didn’t know I had and I feel loose and limber. He really knows what he is doing and shows how much he loves what he does in the quality of his technique. The spa itself is an oasis that I know you’ll enjoy. It’s peaceful, serene and has a Palo Santo aroma.
