My sister and I booked an aromatherapy and scalp treatment here. It was delightful. Annie was my therapist and she was very nice and very good. I had a wonderful time relaxing. My hair feels and looks amazing. Normally it is tangly and itchy within a couple hours of drying but today it’s been so soft and I can run my fingers through it without issue. I’m definitely coming back.

I haven’t heard of head spa before a friend pointed it out to me randomly saying that she’s jelly we have this service in Vegas. It got me interested. After googling around, Soulo seemed a best choice to start my head spa journey with. Little did I know how impressed I will be after my first visit. The whole time, I kept thinking how amazing this is and why in the world I haven’t done this yet. Now, wrapping up my process with the hair drying stage, I’m already planning on incorporating this to my monthly schedule. I’d say it is a MUST try for anyone looking for a truly relaxing experience! Aromatherapy add on is a must as well. My choice, bergamot, was a nice smell to go with. Debbi was amazing, very caring for my fine hair. The A to C process was smooth and memorable. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

Best and most affordable hair spa. The experience is so relaxing and rejuvenating. I come here at least twice a year for the hair wash and scalp treatment and often bring friends and family members who love it too!

One of my favorite things to do to relax and unwind. Of all the hair spas in Las Vegas this one is my favorite. It’s clean, quiet, and a 10/10 super relaxing experience. Highly recommend!

I came here with my mom and aunt for my birthday and was super excited. The spa itself is very cute and well kept. I got nervous when the gal who did my treatment did not speak any English. Only because I know if I can’t communicate with them even a little I can’t say if it’s too much pressure or not enough ect. I got the scalp massage and face massage. My face massage was more of very light face smooshing which just felt very awkward didn’t seem beneficial in anyway vs if there was a bit more pressure to feel like a massage. My scalp massage was far from a massage. The back of my head was vigorously scrubbed with her nails and then I had a very mild massage for less than 10 min that probably only touched about 1/3 of my head. My mom and aunt seemed to come out of their appointments very relaxed and enjoyed theirs, so I’m sure some attendants do a very nice job, that was just not my experience from my gal.

Update 8/7/24 Came back to see if the spa was even partially apologetic for the experience I had earlier or willing to even read the honest review, but instead found other reviews hating on what truly was what I experienced. I have no ill will towards any company, but wanted to make sure the business understood what social media made it look like vs the reality. Unfortunately, if a business isn’t even willing to acknowledge that a customer had a poor experience, it is even more guilty of not adjusting to customer needs or satiating more than one need. I’ll definitely be even more adamant now in making sure anyone who wants such services to avoid this place. It’s great others have had good experiences, but it doesn’t mean that these spas are as great as they may sound given incentives to social media “influencers” or biased reviews. I’ve learned Google reviews definitely are not as trustworthy by just the simple stars. You need to read deeper or experience it yourself. —— Social Media posts are definitely misleading and this is a case where it was so. After seeing someone rave about this shop, I thought back to my times traveling through Japan or all the salons throughout Asia I've had the fortune to experience. My hairdresser in Bellevue, WA also is incredible and I thought this must be a version of her on steroids. However, I was wrong. Arriving 10 or so minutes early, I found the doors locked a little after 12p on this blistering hot day (one of those 120 degree days). Ringing the doorbell, I finally got a lady to come to the door, but she wasn't there to open it for me. Instead, she was staff trying to leave the salon herself -- which confused me because she didn't look happy I was trying to enter. In retrospect, if I knew she was leaving, I would have opened the door for her, but couldn't see because of how bright it was outside. Checking in, I was happy to see we could ask for a "firm" massage. Assuming the options would be taken seriously. However, I was a little surprised at how light the process began and thought if I don't say something in the first 10 minutes, it would be basically a light touch throughout -- which I can do myself (or anyone could do). So, I asked her to go a little more firm. She barely increased the intensity. After a few mins of the initial prep, she started massaging my back for a few seconds where she was definitely more firm, but if I wanted a body massage that was that way, I could have easily went to the 500+ other shops in the city that could have taken care of me. For the rest of the 45 mins+, we go to the back where you lay down and they basically give you a fancy hairwash. By the way, I chose the "Aromatherapy Relax Treatment" which I assumed would be the best option, but again, I was wrong. I hesitated in writing this since I know it's not easy work. It's also why I left my provider a tip, whereas I would not normally do that if I was disappointed. Nevertheless, I couldn't get out of my head the entire time how I didn't feel "relaxed" or enjoyed the treatment at any point and only wished for more. If the salon reads this and has thoughts, I may come back to edit my review, but I just don't want anyone to be mislead if they saw the social media post I did. It feels like it was either sponsored or the poster has NEVER been to Japan or experienced the relaxing experiences I've had. Honestly, my hairdresser back in Bellevue gave a much better experience (including a haircut) for 2/3's the cost).

For my birthday, my husband surprised me with a gift card to Soulo Hair Spa’s Southwest location. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the professional and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The spa is incredibly clean, and the calming atmosphere immediately put me at ease. I opted for the deep hair washing and scalp massage treatment. The luxurious experience was beyond my expectations. The Milbon products left my hair feeling silky smooth, and the aromatherapy was a delightful bonus. The scalp exfoliation was something I’d never tried before, and it made a noticeable difference in the health of my hair and scalp. What struck me most was how affordable the services were, especially given the high quality of care and products used. I booked an appointment for myself cuz I have really bad headache, and I found SOULO online it was such a miracle experience, my headache was gone, I felt so much better after the service , Highly recommend!

I don’t know what the negative reviews are about, but this place is definitely worth the visit. If you don’t leave feeling relaxed then it’s probably because you’re having a hard time, because the place is beautifully decorated, with calm vibes and soft music. If you have concerns then communicate that with the staff up front and they can recommend services that fits your needs, which is what I did! I have tried their basic hair wash service and then aroma wash, and can never go back to just basic. I left my aroma wash smelling like a Goddess! I also added face massage and a hair mask to it both times and it’s a MUST. My bleached hair was so smooth and soft afterwards. My hair is wavy so I actually appreciated that it’s a self-blow dryer at the end that allowed me to just style my bangs and dry my roots the way I prefer. Just make sure you ask at the front desk for styling products (especially the milbon hair oil that I ended up buying…) Last tips, book early if you can and knock on if the door is lock (as a woman, I appreciate locked). With any massage, you gotta know who are the good ones (my favs are Debbie and Angel). Highly recommend for self-care!

I read one of the two 2-star reviews and felt that it’s only fair that I should post my disagreement with that customer here as well after my visit to the spa. I not only traveled to Japan but I also grew up and lived in Taiwan for the first 29 years of my life. So I am very familiar with the hair salon culture in Asia and had very high expectations before visiting Soulo. It sure did not disappoint!! In fact, in so many ways Soulo exceeded even my best experiences in Taiwan. The entire spa was spotless and tastefully decorated. The staff members were professional and friendly. The lady who did my head and face massage was excellent with perfect pressure and skill. The quality of their hair products was amazing too!! I have become a big fan of Soulo and will be going back as much as I possibly can!!

Our wives booked a spa day for me and my buddy, and it turned out to be an awesome experience. The spa is super clean, and the vibe is really relaxing. We both got the deep hair washing, scalp treatment, and face massage, which were incredibly soothing. The staff were professional and made us feel at ease throughout our visit. Soulo, you cleanse my hair and soul. I'm so glad Soulo expanded to southwest. This will be more convenient for me than going to Chinatown. The new location is a lot bigger with private hair wash rooms. I'm in love with this place! I went in with my cousin to do deep hair wash with hair mask. We were seated with the private hair wash room for two. The chair was so comfortable. Debbie did my service. She's so gentle that get you relaxed quickly. However, she gives really nice and strong shoulder massage too after the hair wash. I enjoy the hair wash process so much that I took the time to meditate with the hair mask :p I also enjoy the tea and snack they give you after the treatment. My hair has so much volume and so smooth after the hair wash. Interior: zen and excellent decor designed by the owner. Service: top notch! Ask for Debbie! Products: I love Milbon products. Don't forget to pick up some before you leave. Tips: Join membership to get discounted price each time you visit. Reserve early, they are booked out quickly especially for weekends.

Overall, A+ and I can’t wait to come back. The treatment was wonderful, friendly service, and very reasonably priced. They did a very nice job decorating the space, it’s very calm and grounding. My hair felt so lovely after and I loved my face massage.

Won’t go again. Hair type: long and curly (2c/3a) and combination scalp. Services: deep hair wash with scalp massage and face massage. While the facial massage was very relaxing, I really wanted this experience to be different than just going to my regular salon where I get a deep cleansing hair wash and it just wasn’t. Yes, my scalp felt clean but my hair felt so stripped and dried out. I now know I could have added on the leave-in treatment but then, again, this wouldn’t be any different than what I’m getting from my regular hair appointments. I also should have done my due diligence and checked the ingredients in the products they used and checked the ingredients in the Milbon hair mousse they have available at the hair drying stage because I left with my hair feeling incredibly dried out. At the very least, I wish expectations for dryness were a bit more clear.

I have been interested in a hair spa for a while and decided to try it out. My biggest concern was that I have curly hair and that it would hurt or they would rip out my hair. They did not! They took the time to care for my hair! The energy was so good in the salon. I fell asleep 4 times during the massage! I will definitely be back again!

Highly recommend Soulo hair spa. They are fantastic!!! Queena was my stylist and she was amazing. She was calm and patient. She helped me feel very relax and special. Got a facial, hair wash with a scalp treatment. It felt great, she asked how pressure was and I appreciate her keeping that in mind. I was so relaxed I even fell asleep. After your hair wash they give you a hand free blow dry with a nice neck and shoulder massage. Great afterwards warm tea with a delicious mochi snack. Came in from Utah and was very excited to try, definitely happy I did! Would highly be coming back when I revisit!!!

Had several friends recommended this place so I really want to check it out. The place is zen and clean, I felt the stress just melted away when I stepped in the door. Everyone was professional and warm. I got the aromatherapy package the whole experience was great I even dozed off for a bit cuz I was so relaxed. Head massage is just hit differently I woke up felt so refreshed. My scalp felt fresh and hair was smooth and soft and smell great. Definitely be back

My wife and I had an amazing pre-Valentine's Day treat at Soulo Hair Spa! I went for the Aromatherapy and scalp treatment, she went Aromatherapy, scalp treatment, hair mask, and face massage. She couldn't stop raving about how professional and relaxing the face massage ,her skin visibly glowed after. they use products from Japan's Shiseido brand! Soulo Hair Spa truly knows how to make us feel special.
