I always look forward to my spa days on my vacations. I experienced the stone massage and highly recommend therapist Thomas. He is experienced, professional & talented. The entire staff were friendly & made us feel comfortable. They cover all your senses from touch, smell, hear & site. They provided an eye mask, head phones with calming sleep noise & soothing sounds. What a relaxing & wonderful experience! We highly recommend this spa, you won’t be disappointed!

I have had a lot of spa treatments and a lot of different places locally and internationally. This was the best experience I've ever had! I had the stone facial, Stone Massage, body wrap and foot reflexology. Emma was amazing

Save yourself some time, engery and money. The communication and scheduling is horrible. I was contacted 3 times about my appointment changing the times. I then confirmed via text. I again spoke with the location and confirmed. over night my appointment was canceled. This was a birthday gift to myself. On the way to the appointment Jackie the manager called and said a store employee canceled my appointment. No one ever called. No compassion a refund was all that was offered no. I'm trying to not let this get the best of me but very disappointed in this place. I will also do a video posting all the services I booked and interactions with this location. I feel like this place is way underrated. I know it has good reviews here, but I mean in general. I know from now on I will try and get the word out. My wife and I booked a 90 minute massage yesterday and it was wonderful. I've been here 3 or 4 times before and every visit was great. But I felt like this visit was on another level. Maybe it was the extra time because I have never tried a 90 minute before. The staff is incredibly nice. We were late for our appointment (of course we were...sorry to the therapist as we were the last clients of the night and delayed them going home...so sorry for that) but they acted as if it wasn't an issue. With their heated beds and music that they play in your ear the whole experience is so awesome. Not only is the bed heated but it also vibrates. With all the those factors at one point I felt like I was in the video game "Bejeweled". And when the music slows down and the nature sounds take over you feel like you're in a mystical forest in a far away place called magic land. I wish I could remember the names of our therapist but I can't. But again, I haven't had a bad experience here yet. As my wife and I left yesterday we started talking about how we both feel this place is a hidden gem. So I am writing this to hopefully get them at least one or two new customers. Not that I feel like they need help. But my wife and I wondered aloud why we don't hear about this place more often. They've been here a while now so I don;t think they are hurting. Anyway I highly recommend Sound Stone Massage. Go there. You'll love it.

I have now been to Sound Stone twice and it is fantastic! Both times I have received the "Be Stone 60 minute massage," and was highly impressed both times. I have had massages from Jessica and Amy. With this place, when they say a massage is one hour, you really get one hour of massage time! The headphones with New Age music, eye mask, and vibrating massage table really make the massage experience here absolutely amazing! Staff are friendly and willing to adjust the massage experience to your personal preferences. Pricing is reasonable, and includes aromatherapy oils. Definitely recommend this spa for your relaxation needs! Update: I have been coming to Sound Stone for a few years now and I have had nothing but fantastic experiences with every staff member and therapist I've encountered. Haley is especially wonderful and does a great job with both massages and facials. Update #2: It's now 2024 and I've been coming here regularly (at least a few times a year) for 6+ years. Massages are always great and staff is always professional and courteous. Haley is my go-to therapist and I always recommend this place (and her in particular!) to friends and colleagues who are looking for somewhere to get a good-quality massage.

Honestly my favorite massage place in St. Louis and today's visit was no exception. I love the sensory deprivation which help me to relax instead of my mind going a mile a minute. And my facial was also relaxing and my skin feels great. HIGHLY recommend!!

I enjoyed my experience here, my massage was great and the sound table and ear phones really add a deeper sense of relaxation. Thomas was my massage therapist and the massage was very relaxing. I recommend you go if you need a peaceful time out.

Just tried to call this business to book an appointment 10 days ahead of time for a couple's massage and the woman on the phone stated she won't be able to fit us in that day. For charging $270 for a 90 minute massage I guess they won't mind missing out on a 50% tip per person. I won't even bother trying them out for a first time visit again. First impression says a lot. Disappointed I can't rate a 0 star.

DO NOT GET PRENATAL, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. This place is a joke. I wanted a real massage not where they use the stones. One, because the stones are way to hot and two because they don’t even feel good. They charged me $10 extra to not use stones?!? I scheduled a 60 min prenatal massage. At 32 weeks pregnant this place looked appealing because they have an actual pregnancy pillow that allows you to lay on your stomach due to the support from the pillow. My appointment was at 2pm, I didn’t leave the lobby to go back to the room until 2:10 then you go in room they tell you how to lay and leave you to get get undressed then come back in and get themself situated before beginning the massage. My massage didn’t start until approximately 2:15-2:20. She then was finished and I was dressed and back in the lobby by 3:05. That is NOT a 60 min massage that’s like a 45 min massage. So not only did I schedule a 60 min massage and only got 45, I also had to pay $10 more for not wanting stones used (which should actually be less as the stones should be an addition) but I’m also pretty sure the massage therapist didn’t understand the whole prenatal massage. The support pillow is great however it takes away the purpose of it when the massage therapist is putting a large amount of pressure on your back by just pushing down instead of actually massaging. Not to mention she asked me to roll over and lay on my back, at 32 weeks pregnant you cannot lay flat on your back (someone trained to do a prenatal massage should know this) so I had to explain to her that I couldn’t lay on my back like that. Will not use them again. Do not recommend. Cheated out of a good massage and $85 while pregnant and horribly sore is very frustrating.

First time to visit. Wasn't sure what to expect. When you walk through the doors, the front desk and waiting area are set up nicely, very clean and shelves with products displayed nice. Had a hot stone massage by Hayley. It felt fantastic. The temperature of the stones, the oils and the pressure applied were all great. Yes I would recommend. Can't wait to get my facial with Hayley in a couple of weeks.

I don't know how to describe this experience, perhaps transcendental. I felt at times I was floating,moving through space, zoned, carried...such an experience in my opinion. You must go. Everyone made me comfortable, informative and attentive. Simply amazing.

I received second degree burns on my chest and bruising under my arm from a stone massage here. I highly recommend you avoid this place. I spoke with the manager twice, and she saw the blisters and did nothing to remedy. I've added a photo from the day of, a week later and currently so you can see what my experience was. Not only are the massage therapists poorly trained and managed, but they have poor business practices when issues do arise.

I would give them a zero if it existed. I got an email that there were last minute openings at 1p and 430 and immediately left a message and was called back and hung up on accidentally, I presume. I called back and confirmed my 430p for an hour. I showed up and was told by the young lady at the counter that I was not on the calendar. I wasted and hour of my time and gas! That is no way to do business and I will never return. There was a similar review on yelp just a month earlier. I told them to take me out of their system and email.

My friend and I booked the "Half Day Getaway". It was hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had. Maya was our esthetician and Angelique was our massage therapist. These ladies are stellar at their craft and I'm so grateful I was able to be on the receiving end of thier gifts. What a beautiful experience!

The massage had too much stopping. I got dressed to leave no one was around or at the front, it was really awkward and made me feel uncomfortable. The place was clean tho, but that was a bad experience and my girlfriend got it for me for my birthday it really was a let down. The other people low reviews sound like my visit. They spent long time on my feet. I think they 5star was giving something save your time and money DONT go here

This place is a joke. 20 minutes into my massage, Hayley ran out of the room saying she was so sick and threw up. The last 10 minutes she was sniffling so much I felt extremely uncomfortable and honestly it was just weird. There were no stones, headphones, or vibration on the table used. While they didn’t charge me, I still wanted to warn everyone. They let sick people work and in turn, gave me a stomach bug! It was a huge waste of time and they offered me a free service which included no massage, just sitting in the dark room to “relax” RUN FAST

We really enjoy this place, but since covid it isn't the same. I think they may be short staffed and they have a really hard time with electronic transactions. Amanda always takes care of us. We love her!
