I have been going here on and off since they opened. Much has changed from when they opened till now. They went from being 100% to now 15% service but more expensive. I stopped going a few years ago because every time I got the gel nail, I would get home and they would already be chipping, peeling, etc because when im INSISTING MY NAILS NEEDED MORE TIME AND WERE NOT DRY, they kept ignoring me and saying no they're good just so i get rushed out and they con the next person. At first I kept going back thinking maybe it wont happen, or it was the color I picked, or other excuses but IT WASNT. WHen I had to go back for them to fix it, they came up with every excuse. They did fix it and when I would not allow them, to rush me out until I completely dried the gel like I told them, finally my nails were as they should be and lasted 2 weeks. They went from using two nail dryers aS THEY SHOULD HAVE to flip flopping with one cause they gotten cheap and didnt want to provide the 2 gel nail dryers. BUT they'll raise their prices. smh.. I had no choice 2 weeks ago to go there to do an event and my time was limited and I was hoping they wouldve changed for the better nut behold my nails were ruined WHILE I WAS STILL IN THERE SAME REASON NOT DRIED, RUSHED, DIDNT LOTION MY HANDS, RUSHED ME OUT. I ALSO TRIED TO CALL THAT DAY AND MAKE AN APPT AND WAS HUNG UP ON BEFORE I COULD EVEN GIVE MY NAME TO MAKE THE APP. THIS PLACE SHOUL BE SHUT DOWN. SO RUDE IN THERE BY OWNERS WIFE IS THE WORST. THE MALE OWNER WAS ALWAYS POLITE AND NICE BUT THEY RUN IT HORRIBLY

On Tuesday, July 16, 2024 with temperatures close to 100 degrees I came for service and only after the technician set me up for a pedicure I complained that it was hot in the shop. I could see the one wall unit was on but it was not working. I was told that the air conditioning was not working since the day before. I never had an issue with the service I received in the past but I was not satisfied with the quality of service. Unfortunately I will be looking for a new shop. They only care about the money and not about the clients comfort!

I enjoyed going here while it lasted now, I won't ever go back! The problem is that as an Asian-owned salon, there is no one there who is able to communicate well enough in English when concerns arise with their clients. They don't know how to problem solve but moreso, don't care to accommodate their clients. Only 1 nail technician in the entire salon was skilled in providing a specialized gel manicure and creating fun designs which is why I went to her only. In her absence, the owner/ manager told me to "just go somewhere else". I even offered an alternative solution for me to continue getting nail services there during her temporary absence, but they refused to work with me. Since they're not concerned with retaining customers, I recommend that you save yourself the heartache and, in their own words- go somewhere else... where you'll be appreciated as a customer!

I have been a customer coming to this salon for over a year and I’d like to address the negative comment left by Trisha Lee as my nail tech is who she was referring to. First off my nail tech is taking a month long vacation as she works extremely hard and is accommodating to all customers just as the rest of the nail techs. I happen to be in the shop and when Trisha called as she wanted to speak with my tech. After demanding that she would want her nails done-full set and a design once my nail tech returns for free or reduced pricing based on the fact she is taking her vacation. Please tell me who wants to demand a free service all because someone is going on vacation is ABSURD! Period! Not to mention Trisha mentioned no one speaks English and she wasn’t accommodated is a LIE! Everyone in the salon speak English and understands very well. I am a black women and I understand everyone in the shop. These ladies are extremely respectful and provide courteous service at all times. Trisha needs to be honest because I heard the entire conversation. The only reason they mentioned going somewhere else is because she didn’t want anyone else to do her nails which many were willing to do and because she wanted the specific nail tech at a FREE price she threatened to leave them a nasty review. Let’s be real they are AMAZING especially my girl Judy! I have long nails and always getting designs and she KILLS it everytime. ❤️ She and the rest of the team is AMAZING so please disregard Trisha and her negativity because she couldn’t get her nails done for free when Judy returns. Judy works hard and makes every accommodation. I refuse to let somebody jeopardize her character or the rest of the ladies. Stay blessed and love y’all at South Philly Day Spa! I recently started coming to this nail salon and discovered that it's so much more than that. This is a full service establishment. They offer waxing, manicures, pedicures, hair cuts, lashes, eyebrow waxing, massages and even facials. The salon is super big and spacious with more chairs for pedicures and stations for doing nails than I've ever seen in any other salon I've ever been to and a lot of employees just waiting for customers. I definitely won't be going anywhere else.

I went here to inquire about a gel pedi, I wanted to look at the services and so the young lady handed me a menu. When I opened the menu I kid you not, a roach crawled out. I dropped the menu and was like OMG... the roach fell on the floor and she stepped on it. She said there would be a long wait too so I just took that as a sign to leave 😂

One of the nicest spa and pedicure place in south Philly. Walk-ins are always welcome but they do prefer appointment. They accept cards and there’s plenty of parking in the back. They offer all kind of service and for walk-ins I never had to wait more than 10 minutes. They also prefer tips in cash and they have an ATM as well inside. It’s totally worth it to go over there.

V is my favorite! This place has it all! Even hot stone massages at very reasonable prices! They always have someone available to take you and everyone old and young that I’ve met there has been very kind. I love this place and the staff!

I always see Lynn. She does a GREAT job with my ingrown which grows back so fast. She gets deep with minimal pain. Most of the ladies there are very nice.
