I have been getting my hair done by Kayla since I moved here almost 11 years ago! She is the best and the vibe she has created at Southern Roots is refreshing, relaxing, and anointed! I always feel like beautiful outside when I leave there, but even more than that my soul and spirit are refreshed and I feel like I have left my huge bag of worry and stress at their door! All of the girls there are amazing and kind and welcoming…. All of this and they are ALL top of the line in their industry! If you aren’t getting your hair done at Southern Roots, your are doing yourself an injustice! Tanya, Erin, Jessie,Sunshine, and of course the owner, Kayla, are phenomenal women doing a phenomenal job at what they were gifted to do! Oh and pick you up the cutest in style earrings while you’re there! ( I never leave with less than 3 pairs!)

It’s good to see Erin settled in such a classic and respectable small business doing hair for all of us . Warning !! The stylists and especially my stylist Erin STAY BOOKED for appointments! Kayla is one of the kindest people I have ever met. When you go into a salon, she is the kind of person you want to greet you. And not only is she a great person but she can turn a picture or idea into a transformation! She has done my hair from blonde to red to dark brown and I have never disliked anything she has done! Her place is always clean and she always makes sure to clean up in between clients! 10/10 recommend to anyone!
