I love Tyanna and Janelle. I've been going here for a couple years now and Tyanna is always personable yet professional. She's done my hair for my wedding, as a wedding guest, for impromptu photo shoots, and just regular styling and maintenance. I love that I can get all types of services here and that the environment is comfortable and welcoming. These ladies have poured their heart and soul into this place and it shows. ❤︎

Tyanna is the best hairstylist I have ever had!! 5 years ago, my hair was breaking, dry & dull from years of bleaching when I went to Tyanna; she helped my natural hair grow super long, healthy and thick! Tyanna will be honest about what style of cut & color, suits us the most and will actually take the time to guide you to making the decisions that can be hard to make. Tyanna is the queen of cut & style and will guide you to accomplish your hair goals! I highly recommend! I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else. You have to try!

Clarissa did my nails this is by appointment only Facebook if you go to nails by Clarissa she'll have her schedule for the usually the week or the month even sometimes well worth every penny and let me tell you I did not dish out that much I've paid more for so much less than what I got from Clarissa. Most places are charging $5 of finger for art. Clarissa is one of the few I can even think of another manicurist that can sculpture your acrylic nails, some people like the tips because it's quicker, but once you've had your nails sculpted by Clarissa they're just absolutely beautiful and the best part is it's a lot harder to hurt your finger nail bed by accidentally getting your tip caught on something and Clarissa's prices cannot be beat both Clarissa and Janelle who I have none had the pleasure of meeting but I hear she is a wonderful manicurist so whether you get Clarissa or Janelle you will be a happy person. It is by appointment only. Now if you don't show up it's up to Clarissa but you may have to leave a $20 deposit which will go towards your nails next time you get them done. It does not mean that you have to leave $20 every time this is a working mom trying to make a living and doing a fantastic job plus I can understand what she's saying to me and I'm not shocked when I go up to pay that it's like more than I thought. Enjoy You will be so happy and received so many compliments, You will say that's right I'm bad I know it. Lol

I been going to Janelle for almost 4 years. But I went for a simple “trim” at great clips (dumb decision) and the lady there messed up my hair. I called Janelle and she squeezed me in the next day and fixed my hair. Janelle is the best and she’s also very personable and sweet.

Everyone at the salon is so sweet and very professional. This salon is a one stop shop. I can get my hair, lashes, waxing, nails, facials, etc all done here. SouthWest Rootz is amazing and I feel amazing every time I leave there!
