Got the 40 minute Korean scrub. Cleanliness 1 star very clean. Customer service 1 star, price 1 star very affordable compare to other place, experience 1 star. They didn’t get the 5th star because it wasn’t a tradition Korean scrub. She scrub u on the table with water and mineral. The. You shower. The shower was great love the shower head.

WOW! I tried the head massage, and it was amazing. The therapist really knew how to relieve tension. I felt so much lighter afterward!

Had a great massage here, the ladies were sweet. However, I very much disliked how they highly emphasized tips before I even got to process the bill. They also reminded me right after I booked the appointment (tip please). As much as I love to tip, I despise being pressured/forced to before I get to do it out of my own will. As I was going through the bill, they would stop me to say "tip" multiple times, there is nothing more discouraging and disappointing than being forced to tip. Then you tip a good 22%+ and they don't seem satisfied. This was highly unpleasant. This place was otherwise clean, just expect minimum manners!

Good massage but extorts you afterwards. Very rude staff at reception. Do not recommend. Edit: you literally attempted to extort me. Your prices display $75 for a one hour massage. If a 20% tip is expected, display it on the price list. Instead of pocketing the money for sitting at the reception, you should use that money to pay your employees a livable wage. Don’t rely on me to feed your employees you refuse to pay an hourly wage to because you’re a greedy business owner.

This is my favorite day spa! I love Spa 56's service - great prices, very good masseuses, professional and lovely service, clean and peaceful environment. They do a wonderful job. I'd highly recommend the massage and facial package. My skin felt incredible!

Excellent massages! They did deep tissue work and lymphatic drainage! It was so fantastic and helped my neck and back pain so much I went two days in a row!

Mixed feelings. I'm a repeat customer and the first time around, the massage was very nice, professional and courteous. I left feeling refreshed and calm. The second time was a whole different story. I showed up for a 1h session and the massage was bad - so bad I asked the masseuse to stop and redirect her attention to work exclusively on my feet. Half of the body massage was done with a sheet between me and the masseuse's hands, and the other half was done very poorly with insufficient oil. The technique was poor. It was unpleasant. To round things off, when I went to pay, the first thing they asked me was whether it was my first time there. They then charged me USD$ 100, plus tax and tip. This was not the price I paid the first time. Not a nice experience and will not be returning.

I never been the type to write a review so for me to do this means I either had a really good experience or a really bad one and I’m so grateful that it was an AMAZING one! I was googling the nearest massaging place and I ran into this location. I go in and asked if they take any walk-ins and luckily they do. I was a little nervous cause it was my first time getting a massage but as soon as I was getting serviced they were super friendly, and caring. They made sure I was getting the massage i wanted and needed which I was so grateful for. So thank you so much ! 🫶🏻

Amazing experience. The massage therapists and estheticians really know what they’re doing. I felt so relaxed during my massage and the body treatment; she was very gentle yet thorough. It’s only been about 12h after I got the facial, and my skin is already looking rejuvenated. I have acne prone, sensitive skin, which isn’t always the easiest to deal with, but she did an excellent job with the extractions. Everyone was very kind as well. Cash is preferred!

Wonderful and kind ladies - they got us in early before their normal appointments showed up. I have never had such an amazing massage in my life. I wish I lived here so I could make this a weekly occurrence! Since I can’t, I will tell you, GO! The facial was amazing too and I am glowing. Just all around great experience for couples massage and facials!

My daughter and I got a couple massage, after the massage her necklace she took off was missing. We asked about it and she just said” I don’t know.” I asked her to ask the other therapist, she disappeared for a second and came back with no explanation. Just checked us out. The massage was ok but they were talking the whole time to us and each other. They kept leaving with the door open which is really creepy when you can’t see. Who knows who came?!? This ruined the last day of our visit to NYC. The necklace wasn’t valuable but sentimental to my daughter, present that a dear friend gave her.
