Melissa gave a perfect, relaxing massage that has done wonders for tension I had in my shoulders; Anna gave a wonderful, thorough facial that has me glowing. Amazing day of relaxation and rejuvenation with these two!

Had a facial when I thought I was having a breakout needing extractions. Turns out I was having an allergic reaction to a new moisturizer. Anna was very helpful and did a great job.

They got us in at the last minute after another place canceled our appointment four days before our trip after booking it four months in advance. We do this every year for our anniversary regardless of where we’re traveling to and I have to say after all my massages this was the best Massage my husband and I have ever received. I can’t even remember our masseuse‘s name because we were so relaxed I would highly recommend this place

As a customer who loves giving 5 star reviews, I felt obligated to give a 1 star review to this place. If there was a 0 star, I would give it just that. This place is highly unprofessional, I had $350 worth of certificate money that was accessed by someone who I did NOT authorize to access. If you plan on buying gift certificates, I highly advise you to be cautious because anyone can come in and say that you gave your certificate away to them and they will honor it without even confirming. (Even if you paid for it and have the hard copy.) When you are ready to redeem your certificate that they so recklessly gave away, the owner will simply say too bad so sad instead of making it right. Making it right would be putting the customer first, acknowledging their mistake for recklessly giving your money away, apologizing for giving your money away, and making it come out of their pocket because it was their mistake. As a person, whose family owns a business, I believe that this is highly unethical. I recommend any spa, but this one. If you want to throw away your money, this place is it!

I had the best deep tissue/sports massage from Art. I had shoulder pain, and he did an excellent job releasing the tension and reducing the pain. If you want an authentic deep-tissue massage give Art a try.

Soo.. I’ve been coming here for years. I have never had a bad experience ever, but I was a bit disappointed in the new(?) desk lady. (Young, with brown hair with bangs.) I was somewhat flustered by the way she talked to me. I will admit, I was running late due to unforeseen events. I showed up about 8 minutes late and was told I would probably lose some of my time for my massage. That’s ok. I understand, it’s my fault for running late. That wasn’t the problem. It was just the way she spoke to me.. I was so flustered already from running late (I hate running late, so I called the front desk as soon as I got in the car), then she was not very kind, and I was about in tears just from anxiety. NOT the way you want to feel before a massage. But Art did an amazing job! Perfect pressure, communicative, and most importantly, polite. I was beyond calm, cool, and collected by the time I left. When I finished my massage with Art, he gave me water and wished me a good day. I’m not sure of her name, and maybe she is just having a bad day… but I felt it warranted a review. I am still giving 5 stars, because I’ve been coming here for years and one bad experience isn’t going to deter that.

We came to Austin for a bachelorette trip and when the weather was not all sunshine, we changed our plans to include Spa At the Lake which ended up being the HIGHLIGHT of our trip. On short notice, they were able to accommodate our group of 6 girls and we all enjoyed our services SO MUCH. I received a facial and it was the best facial I’ve ever had. Although I don’t remember her name, the women who did my facial had worked there for many many years and said the staff was like family. The staff is extremely hospitable and if I lived in Texas, I would be a regular here!!

I just started going to Spa At the Lake a few month ago, hair cut, massage, and recently a facial. Every service has been done with professionalism & accuracy. They take great measures to keep a safe and clean environment. The reception desk is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. They have quickly become my go-to place for every service. I plan to bring my out-of-town friend here for a day spa!!

I never did this review because I hate to be mean but.. I had an awful experience here. The girl who helped me was dismissive and negligent- hardly if at all glanced at my reference and literally waved her hand at it. Told me it wouldn't look good and then.. absolutely did not do what I asked.. acted like I was a nuisance and talked about me to the next guest when I was leaving even though she was definitely in earshot and hardly five feet from me. I was charged 200 for that. Worst haircut I've had, worst experience. She was nice for a moment when I tried making small talk during the wash but... awful. Way too expensive for an extremely substandard experience and rude behavior... Do not go here...

My mom went to this place for 7 years and loved it. When I wanted to dye my hair for the first time in grad school, I thought this would be a good place since they advertised balayage. I WAS WRONG. I brought in a picture (attached) and the stylist was like: of course, the color isn’t going to match since you’re base is a little darker, but we can see what we can do. I was lured into a false sense of security. My hint something was wrong should have been the foils they used; I read that balayage was a hand painted technique and this was far from it. I walked out with tiger striped hair (me in the car after appt) that made me look twice as old and a $350 bill. Luckily, this was an easy fix at another salon to get my hair WAY more in line with the look I asked for. Advice to management: if your stylist isn’t comfortable with a technique nor up to date with current trends, do not book an appointment for them.

Not a good option for a massage, lady did not know how to target tense muscles or something. It was like a 90-minute back rub by someone with rough hands for $125. No idea where the cover photo came from, as this place is in a shopping center on 620.

If you're looking for an amazing massage, Susan has been my go to massage therapist for years! Phenomenal calming energy, solid education on the body structures, and educational in regards to aiding the client on how to stretch and aid painful areas at home! 10/10 would follow Susan wherever she goes! This salon is great, they sell Kerastase products, which I also have used for over a decade. Quality products and services, with a special touch and amazing views!

These women are absolutely amazing. Probably one of the best spas I have been to. A friend and I came here for a small getaway a month ago. This was THE best facial I have ever received. I will be booking often and driving 4.5 hours away just to get here.

I like this business very much. I have a stylist there that will fit me in and really work around my busy schedule. They have masagaes that are medically approved, facials. Everything in one spot. Great salon :)

Mixed emotions with visiting here. I have had wonderful and awful experiences so they are never consistent. Also at a recent visit the front desk girl over charged my card and seemed frazzled. Possibly was overwhelmed being up there alone but also when I called felt rushed off the phone.

My kids bought me a gift cert for the Spa for my birthday. Of all the services, I thought the couples pedicure would be the most fun. I didn't know what to expect. Sharon and I were treated to a few moments with complimentary wine and snacks. The staff treated us in a very friendly way and the whole experience was relaxing. My feet felt awesome. Thank you!

Sadly, after spending nearly $500 with 3 visits, I finally bought a color myself and got the color hair I was supposed to get in the first place. I was given a perm, but the rods were too small. The cut was weird, returned for trim and color a week later, wrong color and still weird cut. Finally, returned and showed the person the swatch of blonde I wanted, only to get a dirty brown. Plus I too was overcharged. I have called several times to speak to a manager only to be told they are not available. They need to train the receptionist how to answer their calls politely and to listen to their customers comments. NOT speak to them as if the customer was an idiot. No thank you.
