I was a guest at the hotel over the weekend. I got a massage at this spa and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever gotten. Dorothy was so professional and polite. Her touch was perfect. She checked with me throughout the massage to make sure that I was comfortable. She is very thorough and just amazing overall! I enjoyed my time at the spa. Everyone was so nice. Very professional, polite, and pleasant. 10/10. I will be back.

We had the best spa day at theWit! It was me and 5 girlfriends so we loved being able to have such a private experience. The lounge was perfect for enjoying some delicious light bites and chatting (with a great view!). I could have stayed in their robes all day - and of course the services were fantastic.

*Watch out for extra charges* Had a great couples massage with my boyfriend, very clean in the woman’s locker room, and provided robes for both of us! Mens locker room didn’t have many of the Womens locker room specialties and could’ve used a little attendance. The only down side was after having a great massage, they charged us almost an extra $100 without telling us beforehand and told us that on the website it says “prices are subject to change at the providers discretion” in tinyyyyyy font. One way to make us get un-relaxed after a massage. Not the massage therapists fault, but definitely not a good business model. So ask for your price ahead of time.

Best massage I think I have ever had (Jana was my masseuse) and the space is beautiful, calm, and therapeutic! Jasmine had me sip tea and relax in the whisper room before my service and then Jana brought me bubbly after! The whole experience was lovely and I can highly recommend.

There are so many better spa experiences in Chicago with friendly, honest, and non-discriminatory staff. Even if I was offered a FREE spa day here, I would not go back. Don’t put yourself through the horrible experience I had at the Wit.

We came in for a couple’s massage while staying at TheWit. It was my partner’s first time getting a massage, and the ladies we were with did a great job of making us both feel comfortable. We left feeling really refreshed and pampered. The service came with robes, slippers, towels, and a locker in the mens/womens spa locker rooms, as well as light snacks and refreshments in a space to unwind before and after. Lovely experience!

It was just meh. The massage was unmemorable- lots of caressing when I asked for their therapeutic. Plus It is very small. The whisper lounge (which is just three lounge chairs with side tables and low lighting) is equivalent to the size of a walk in closet. The locker room can accommodate maybe two people at a time comfortably. But you pay tremendous prices for the service AND then they hike on a 22% service charge that they don’t tell you about. So be warned. When we asked about the extra charges, we got a very cold response. We got “it is what it is so deal with it” kind of response. It left a bad taste in my mouth after trying to have a relaxing day. I would never go back. I’ve been to several spas so I will tell you there are way better ones with better customer service.

My boyfriend and I are from Michigan and enjoyed our couples massage. We both have never had a massage before and went with a swedish massage. Our therapists asked about problem areas and areas to avoid if any. They also asked if the pressure was too hard or too light and changed if requested. Very relaxing and what we needed. The one minor complaint is that our robes were a touch too small. We are plus sized individuals and having an additonal fabric to maybe snap inside the robe would have been nice to cover our fronts more. Overall an amazing experience and we would come again!!

I was expecting so much from this experience especially because of the extravagant price range. The room for the massage was bland, there was absolutely no fragrance, the towels smelled so bad! The treatment was just mediocre! Such a disappointment.Please dont spend your dollars here!!

This is a very quaint and intimate (small) spa. Very nice relaxing atmosphere, and great view from the nail and pedicure room. Staff is very kind and friendly. We had a great experience. It happened to be a slow afternoon so they were able to get my wife and I in that same day.

I came here for an event -- i was so excited ...and was sorely disappointed. People were to put their names on the list as a first come, first served basis... Didn't happen at all! When we went to complain about it, they surely weren't considerate at all. They couldn't care less. However the lady who did my nails did an excellent job and was pretty quick. She kept a conversation with me the whole time to keep me company as she was working on my nails. But again, I wouldn't recommend this place at all to go to for a spa.
