I loved this spa. It's actually a great deal, you pay for the massage and then get access to the entire spa for the day. It was lovely and relaxing. Can't wait to go back.

I was in desperate need of a root touch and my usual colorist was months out. We had a trip booked for AZ so I thought I'd try to find a salon that had availability. To my surprise, not only did they have one appointment left (during our stay) but she was remarkable! I would highly recommend & am seriously contemplating quarterly visits to AZ just to have her color my hair! All that being said, the salon was beautiful--bright, light, welcoming...They offer a variety of services which I look forward to trying!

10/10 experience! I came in from Wisconsin for a weekend & my best friend & I had a spa day. Staff was amazing- friendly, helpful & attentive. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever had! So relaxing & perfect pressure. Going between the hot tub or cold plunge was so interesting! I’ve never seen it done that way. The steam room & sauna were both so relaxing. Lastly the pool area which was co-Ed, was so beautiful & just nice to be able to sit around a fire place or the pool. Thank you to the staff for making our weekend memorable.

My good friend and I were looking forward to trying this spa out. It is in a great location and on beautiful grounds. Unfortunately it fell short on expectations and service. Though everyone was polite, our experience started in the hotel restaurant Mesa Centrale. It was the only semi-formal restaurant open for lunch in the hotel other than poolside and they did not serve cocktails, instead told us to walk around the corner to order cocktails if we wished and then we could bring them back to the table. Other guests asked as well and were told the same. Chips, guacamole and salsa were brought out to us and unfortunately the salsa had a hair. Food was not the best and chips were stale. Chips, guacamole and salsa were charged when not even ordered to begin with and nothing was compensated at all. The supervisor came by and apologized. We then went on to the spa hoping to have a better experience. The woman that toured us through the woman’s spa lounge area was difficult to understand and we had to help her find a locker that wasn't occupied which we thought was poor service. The robes were over used and the material was snagged from over washing. The waitress at the spa never checked on us once after our initial order. We only saw the one pool side service attendant once the entire time we lounged outside. It was very disappointing to experience the showers were not wiped down in a timely fashion and had hair on drains every time. The massage therapist was breathing heavy the entire time and the essential oil used had no scent (none or the 3 I was offered) During my massage session, I could hear staff talking and laughing outside the room and the cars passing by. To top it all off, when I checked out at the spa after a underwhelming experience the gratuity was already added without choice at 22%! I will not be going back and would recommend people to checkout other spas and restaurants across the street if you happen to be staying at this hotel. This Grand Hyatt lacked the Grand.

One of my absolute favorite spas in the valley! They have all the spa amenities you could be looking for (jacuzzi, steam room, cold plunge, sauna, outdoor pool) and the most amazing showers. It is the perfect balance of indoor/outdoor. We also love this spa as the men’s side also has great amenities which is rare. The massage I received was great.

My sister and I took our mother for a manicure/pedicure at Christmas time. Everything was truly wonderful; the staff, facility, ambiance. The pools are gorgeous and uncrowded. We sat by an outdoor fireplace and had a glass of wine - truly memorable and highly recommended.

Ok. It was my first time here! Where I come from, customer service is very high priority. Especially, at the places like SPA. So, my expectations were really high. When I made my reservation I was asked to come 30 minutes prior my appointment time, so I would get a tour since It’s my first time at this SPA. So I came. I came and I waited for 20 min for someone to come and get me. The reception was occupied by the clients on the phone. I walk through the shop they have at the reception. And then receptionist told me where to go. But the door was locked. I called on he and she let me in, and then I’ve met my guide. The lady was nice, she showed me around but it was very brief because it was about time for my appointment. In general: I got what I came for! Good massage and a few hours at aqua zone! Aqua zone outside is very cozy and relaxing! I’ll come back. I was told, that after massage I can stay and relax till 6pm. Resting area is very nice, there you can find tea and snacks. But, when we are talking about resting area, in my opinion, it has to be quiet. So, after massage I went to jacuzzi, I’ve checked out the swimming pool (nice, very nice by the way) and I haven’t felt so relaxed for a long time. I’ve decided to grab a cup of tea and relax on the couch. Sounds of water and beautiful view and you just about to fall asleep but… stuff was walking by all the time and slamming the doors. No chance to relax. But it’s not it. Around 5pm it becomes even more louder because girls started to clean up the place! Like what? Customers resting in the area and they started to clean up. Collecting towels, bathrobe. Mopping, sweeping, etc. And all of this was really loud. So I had no other option like getting up and live. It’s a good place for girls time out, for couples or just solo time! So, please, work on service details with your staff! P.S. sauna was cold! New update: January 2nd 2025 I visited Spa Avanya yesterday for a deep tissue massage and reflexology, and I was truly impressed by how well everything went. The massage was excellent, and the therapist did a fantastic job. Afterward, I spent some time in the AquaZone, which is always a highlight. The pool remains as great as ever, and I noticed they upgraded the jacuzzi—there’s no fountain anymore, and the changes are a nice improvement. Additionally, the rest area has been refreshed with updated furniture, creating an even more relaxing ambiance. I also appreciated how smoothly the reception process went, both for check-in and follow-up. The team is clearly more organized now, and handling the gift certificate was seamless. The only suggestion I’d make is to keep a tea pot available until the end of the day. After enjoying the massage, spa, steam room, jacuzzi, and swimming pool, I was hoping to unwind with a cup of herbal tea in the relaxation room. Unfortunately, there was no tea available, which was a small disappointment. It would be wonderful to have tea as part of the experience, especially for those of us who like to cool down and relax for a bit before getting ready to leave. Overall, though, my experience this year was much better than last year. Even though the spa was busy, the staff managed everything beautifully, and the improvements made a big difference. Thank you for providing such a wonderful spa day!

Spa Avania hit all the marks!! Excellent service, amenities & atmosphere. My 4 gf’s & I arrived at 8:30am & left at 6:00pm. We had a fabulously decadent day! I highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

Staff is amazing. The amenities were professional and upscale. I wish the amenities were coed to be with my wife. Additionally the drink menu is very limited.

This was a truly disappointing experience from our recent trip to the area. There is very little space for men and women to enjoy together and no shared hot tub which was a big let down. I know the spa was recently renovated, but had I not known that I never would have guessed as there were no areas that seemed new/freshly done. The staff was also very unfriendly from the time we were hurriedly checked in to the spa for the day to the staff who scoffed at as for requesting coffee and then tea as "they don't like to serve those items". Our couples massage was very nice, but the rest of the experience was so disappointing we left right after our massage when we had planned to spend the whole day there.

My massage was good, nothing out of the ordinary and for the $ i was very unimpressed with the spa & other amenities available to use. My local masseuse is way better for 1/3 of the price.

I recently visited Spa Avania to get a birthday massage, and I absolutely loved my experience there. I was specifically looking for a place that had all of the amenities like a sauna, cold plunge, steam room, etc. and this place over delivered!

My husband & I had a relaxing time at spa Avania enjoyed the salt room& mineral pool. Looking forward to when they put the salt back on the floors of the room for the full affect.

The spa was beautiful. The service is amazing. It’s really set up for you to feel relaxed and like you are escaping the outside world. I stayed here for hours, ate food, had a drink, enjoyed all the amenities. My massage was great! I will definitely return.

I love this spa. I recently had an incredible massage. I added a Knesko collegen mask which was lovely. Make sure you have enough time to sit in the mineral pool, and make use of the sauna, steam, hot tub and cold plunge pool. I am revitalized! Thank you

The place was very clean and inviting. The service in the Men's locker room was excellent. My issue came from the massage: The face cushion was comfortable and you could feel the rigid support through the pillow. During the massage you could hear loud laughing and talking in the Hallway. This does not lead to a quiet and tranquil environment. The quiet area was less than quiet and should have been monitored. There was no food service open. You were asked to go to the Hotel pool and bring back food if you wanted. It is quite a walk in a robe and again not relaxing. The experience could have been a lot better, for the price you are paying.

I visited Spa Avania on June 9, 2024 with friends. The deep tissue massage with Colleen was perfect. All of the staff from check in, locker rooms to pool service were friendly and attentive. There were so many amenities (steam room, whirlpool, hot tub, cold plunge, pool) that we stayed all day. I will definitely be back.

Spa Avania is always amazing. The facilities are great but the staff is what really makes all the difference. Kami especially is so nice, friendly, and helpful. He is a beacon of positivity and is truly an incredibly positive representation of the Hyatt brand. The massage services are heavenly and I almost feel asleep in the pedicure chair because it was that comfortable.

First time trying day spas. Loved everything about this place. Gender separate restrooms, showers, steam room, sauna , jacuzzi, cold plunge and outdoor rain shower. Co-ed mineral pool and day beds. Multiple water station and stacks. The food is reasonable prices and drinks. Drink are kinda strong. Would be coming back here. You have to book the day passes on resort pass.
