Horrid...horrid...STAY AWAY!!!!! We paid $500 for a couples massage and then scheduled again. My wife got sick and we didn't want to infect anyone at the spa. Because it wasn't within their 24 hour cancelation period...they charged us another $500 for a massage that NEVER happened. When I finally spoke to the Director of the spa, she said that it was too bad and they had a strict 24 hour policy and then, she goes WOKE when I get upset. Why not go WOKE with refunding money for something that never occurred?

The couples massage experience was wonderful. The spa entry way was very clean and welcoming. The locker rooms were some of the cleanest and best smelling I’ve ever been in. Stephen and Nila did a wonderful job communicating and delivering exceptional service. The zen lounge was very comfortable and the collegian water was a lovely touch. My only minor criticism is the intake form was a little bit confusing to fill out so I would recommend arriving TJ the appointment early to fill it out rather than fill it out on your own.

My Massage therapist was amazing!!! Very relaxing atmosphere. Top Notch service. Highly recommend! Huge shout out to Nila Patel!!! She made me look 10 years younger and my skin feels so smooth and hydrated. Best Esthetician I've been to hands down. Can hardly wait to try all my products. Thanks to the team!! Great experience.

My husband and I had a lovely mini spa day here as part of our staycation for our anniversary. Pros: Top on the list is definitely the incredible hospitality from Ms. Ife! She obviously takes pride in the experience she offers her guests. She was so warm and thoughtful and made us feel right at home. She offered us welcome drinks like champagne, rose or mimosas as well as tea and snacks. She made sure our spa shoes were comfortable, she remembered our names, as well as what drink we’d asked for upon arrival and offered us another one after the service as well. She chatted with us about our plans and recommended a delicious little local ice cream shop around the corner. She is what made the experience truly memorable. My facial was lovely and the aesthetician was clearly knowledgeable. My husband enjoyed his massage as well. The relaxing room lived up to its name and we enjoyed cocooning there in the comfortable, dimly lit space with quiet music with our mimosas while we basked in the relaxation after our service. Cons: The spa is small and services were somewhat limited. The website was basic and I had to call to make appointments. They evidently offer only a subset of their already limited menu on the weekends, including Friday morning. They would only let us book one, one hour service each. We were not allowed to book a 80 minute massage or facial, nor were we allowed to add additional services such as the hot oil hair and scalp massage or foot massage that would have extended our time past 1 hour. We’d hoped to have several services apiece and found this restriction frankly baffling and disappointing. I asked several clarifying questions on the phone bc I was so surprised that I was sure I had to have misunderstood, but no. I could not book an 80 minute facial and a 25 minute foot massage. Not allowed. I know there was availability bc she offered us multiple time slots to choose from. We’d definitely return here again if staying at the hotel, or for a spa day during the week when you’ll have access to the full menu, but for a true ‘spa day’ on a Friday or weekend, you’ll simply have to go somewhere else.

I booked a spa online and accidentally Booked on a Saturday but meant to book for a Sunday I didn’t realize and I missed the appointment and normally I get a call asking if I would be on my way but this was my first time coming to JW since moving to Charlotte and after my dad died I needed a massage and they charged my full price and I called and the receptionist said no exceptions and I booked for the Sunday still and no discount Now I Look on my bank account and they charged me twice so in 1 day they charged me $220 three times

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I recently had the pleasure of visiting the JW Marriott Spa from Birthday, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of amazing, thanks to Nila! As a first-time visitor, I was a bit apprehensive, but Nila's exceptional service and warm demeanor instantly put me at ease. She is truly a gem! Nila's expertise and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the treatment. She took the time to understand my needs and customized the session perfectly. Her professionalism, skill, and genuine care made this spa experience one of the best I've ever had. I'm so impressed with Nila and the overall experience that I am seriously considering choosing the JW Marriott Spa for our company's spa day in Q4 and a staycation with the hubby. If you're looking for a top-notch spa experience, I highly recommend Nila at the JW Marriott Spa. You won't be disappointed!

I booked a deep tissue massage with Sean for my birthday. It was the most professional massage I’ve ever received and is easily the top two massages ever!!! I usually book women as I am apprehensive but just allowed the facility to select this time and I’m glad I did! Sean helped me to realize that some of my previous massages at other facilities with women have been totally unprofessional and inappropriate. Thank you Sean for such a wonderful experience and relaxing massage!

Decided to treat myself to a massage while in Charlotte for work. When booking I was astonished by the price of the massage but it had great ratings so I figured it must be amazing. The massage and the spa both ended up being sub-par. I have paid much less and received much better. There is no sauna/steam room and only one very small relaxation lounge. The showers in the women’s locker room were dirty. The pressure of the massage was decent but seemed very rushed. The overall experience was far from relaxing and I’m upset I saved up my money for it.

ASK FOR DANIELLE!!!!!!!!! Literally cannot stress this enough. I have been to Rockbarn and Ballantyne. I can genuinely say I have never received better service than I have here and with Dani. She actually fixed my back. My bf and I will be coming back every 2-3 months. We love it so much. Can’t stress this enough. Get the 80 min massage with her. You won’t regret it. Best money ever spent. And I’m very high maintenance and picky.

I booked a facial and a massage. The lady I requested for massages called out and wasn’t there. They allowed me to cancel my massage, seemed a bit unorganized on what worker was assigned to which customer. The manager did give me a discount but you can find a better spa in Charlotte if you’re local to area. The facial was decent but as an avid spa goer there’s others places in Charlotte you can go and get better service. They also don’t validate parking so overall I don’t think it’s worth it.

Love the environment and the hospitality. However in particular, there were two lovely young ladies by the names of Quesha and Akira. They were very accommodating and professional. Very nice and nice relaxing music 🎶. Speaking of which, my music. Such a lovely, relaxing experience! The level of professionalism here is top notch. Nothing is amiss, from when you walk in to when you leave. I got my massage from Nila, who was incredible! She was really knowledgeable, knew exactly what I needed, and she found areas on my back that needed work that I didn't even realize were tight. I'm definitely coming back!

This spa plus location is definitely worth booking. The atmosphere is very relaxing and it's extremely well kept. I got the hot stone deep tissue massage from Jessica. She was wonderful and made everything super comfortable. Shana showed me all of the amenities they had and offered me a glass of Prosecco! Kendall was a very professional host and helped the waiver process go smoothly. Will definitely return to try facials next! Awesome job JW spa team!

Today was my first time going to the spa at JW. The staff made me feel so warm and welcome. The front desk was super helpful, their hospitality was outstanding. Niylah Patel, (I might be spelling her first name incorrectly. My apologies!!!). But Ms. Patel was absolutely amazing. She was warm, kind hearted, intentional with everything she did. She gave me an amazing prenatal massage in which I felt cared for and comfortable the whole time. I am in bed writing this review and for the first time in months, I’m actually looking forward to quality sleep! I will absolutely be back. Everything was so clean, and beautiful. 10/10.

Went for a couple’s massage that was gifted to us by our children and it was a fantastic experience. Kendel and Nicol were very friendly and started our relaxing experience. Sheneke and Daniela were excellent! They did a great job of focusing on the suggested areas while still taking care of the whole body. The dessert was a fantastic way to end a special day. This was an experience we would definitely do again!
