I’m visiting from Michigan and happened to come to the salon. I was thoroughly impressed!! This salon really pays attention to details. Each hair wash comes with a 10 minute massage and hot towel treatment.My hair was in such bad shape that Hillary gave me a complementary haircut. Hillary suggested some wonderful products for my hair and really helped educate me about the condition of my hair. I’m actually considering flying in to Sarasota to go to the Salon for my hair going forward. I promise you will not be disappointed at this salon.

Lamentablemente, mi experiencia no fue buena. Contraté este servicio para peinarme el día de mi boda, un momento muy especial para mí, pero el resultado fue decepcionante. El estilista terminó el peinado en apenas 10-15 minutos, sin mostrar interés por los detalles ni asegurarse de que quedara bien. Me sentí ignorada y el peinado no reflejaba lo que esperaba para un día tan importante. No recomendaría este servicio si buscas profesionalismo y dedicación en eventos especiales.

Today I received the most wonderful Massage from Erika Ertekes ! I came in, barely being able to turn my head to the left and lift my arm due to tight muscles. Erika is a miracle worker. I had severe shoulder pain due to a torn rotator cuff. It seemed like surgery would be the only option. Physical therapy did nothing. Then I was recommended to Erika by my fiancé. After the first session with Erika, my initial impression was that she was very knowledgeable about human anatomy. After the next two sessions, this impression was confirmed. My shoulder is healed! Erika is the only massage therapist that I trust. She has my highest recommendation.

Love that place! Always Welcoming. I called trying to figure out which stylish would be the best match for hair. I was very anxious because I had bad experiences in the past. The receptionist Jenna was very understanding and compassionate. She recommended Greta. Wow! She was right. Greta not only fixed my hair, but gave me such a cute haircut that I get daily compliments!!!! For those like me, I have coarse, freezy unruly hair that requires someone that know that kind of hair well!!!! I am very happy

Heather does mine and my daughter’s hair! She is AMAZING!!!!! She listens, she takes her time, she makes suggestions. She faces you forward so you can see what she’s doing! She’s also been able to communicate with my teen, which is a big PLUS! She hand painted my daughter’s hair and worked really hard after my daughter ruined her own hair with drug store products and it came out beautiful. I highly recommend Heather!

I’ve lived in Sarasota for 11 years and believe it or not, struggled to find a stylist who is great with blondes, has integrity in their work, and is affordable. Before Moving here I went to the same stylist and salon for over 15 years. In addition I worked for Goldwell hair cosmetics so I have some industry knowledge although I’m not a licensed stylist. Heather Marques not only Checks all the boxes for being professional, sweet, kind, and talented, but I love being able to have full confidence in her ability to take care of my hair, that I can actually relax and enjoy my service. It has been a very long time since I’ve been able to do that. The salon is gorgeous and everyone is kind and genuine.

Let me say Spa Hollywood passed all expectations. Audrey Hamilton was the beautiful young lady who did my hair. She listened to everything I had to say about my hair and how tuff it is to color my roots. Audrey made sure every strand was covered I think this was the first time a beautician listened without thinking they knew it all. The facility was a very professional Spa especially on a Friday evening. I can’t believe how this was the first time in a long time I felt so much self confidence. Thank you Audrey for not only doing my hair but making me into the confident woman I used to be.

Made an appointment for a Japanese Hair Straightener and the process before the neutralizer "fried" my hair. Continuing with a hot comb would have pulled my hair out so the stylist went ahead and neutralizer it, gave me some shampoo mask that would bring it back to life, rescheduled in a month hoping my hair will be healthy enough to do a milder straightener or even a short haircut if it's too damaged. They refunded my money and next visit is Aug 30. We'll see how it goes🤞 Aug 30th: returned to salon and couldn't be more pleased other than being able to undo the damage brought on by my previous hair stylist from Dandelions that used bleach all over my hair to turn my hair all Grey then not understanding Dandelions technique why my hair was dry made an appointment with Spa Hollywood not knowing my hair was previously beach began the Japanese Straightener. Knowing why my hair reacted to the Japanese Straightener, this visit was a deep conditioning to get my hair healthy and schedule 3 weeks out hopefully a straightener that is used with overprocessed hair can be used.🤞 Spa Hollywood didn't recommend me to someone else to fix what they didn't cause nor charged me a dime for their time and effort. I feel I'm dealing with professionalism at its best, expert stylist, and in good hands. Easiest rating I ever gave

Well given that the photos I posted have yet to be approved after 6mo., it wouldn’t make much sense not to edit my review. This was the single most traumatizing experience I’ve ever had in a salon — or with hair, period. I left after sitting in the chair from 9a-7p with a head full of severely damaged, literal ORANGE hair - not to mention a chemical burn that resulted in having to see a dermatologist for. I couldn’t wash my hair for days and actually ended up seeking legal help just to get my money back for the hair services I was still charged full price for. I won’t speak on the salon as a whole, but one particular stylist, Heather M. who immediately sold me by pictures on social media, I would not recommend anybody ever go to. Absolutely horrible experience which turned to be incredibly costly to repair.

I have long hair and I feel like every hair stylist I have been to always cuts too much off and she is the first that actually left it long with still giving me the shorter layers that I was looking for. She also recommended the best product for my hair to look good when I just air dry it and don't have time for anything else.

I recently purchased a home in Sarasota so am new to the area and Spa Hollywood. I have found a fabulous Master stylist with Jessica. And I'm very picky. I've been going to the same Master stylist in Boston for 25 years so it was not easy to make a change. And her assistant Anna is wonderful. I couldn't be happier. And love Heidi for my gel manicures and Erin for my pedicures. The front desk staff is so welcoming and helpful. AND then there's the boutique where they have great items for purchase. I have found a gem of a spa nearly in my back yard. Thank you ladies!

I would like to report on my experience with Hilary. After doing the service, I received the full amount for the secretary well above what is on the website and what my friends paid months ago. I complained about this and Hilary promptly called me and explained that my hair needed more products to achieve the color I wanted. My suggestion is always for the professional to explain the cost of each stage to the client first so that we are not surprised by the final price. Despite this, I enjoyed the service and will return to the salon.
