Lovely waiting area with fabulous views and sometimes visits the famous San Francisco parrots. More importantly my massage was absolutely incredible. Sammy fluidly leveraged a variety of modalities and an incredible job getting my body less tight!

I received a one hour massage, I usually don’t do reviews, but I just had to for this business. My massage was the best I ever had. The girl was very thorough and worked out all my knots while still making it very relaxing and enjoyable. Their spa package is the way to go trust me you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to go back. They also have a lot of time availabilities in the morning and in the evening, which is very nice for the working person.

This was my first time visiting and I’m so glad that I found this hidden gem right in Union Square. The location is super convenient and their spot is on the penthouse which has a gorgeous view of the city. I got the 90 minute massage and felt amazing. The price is set reasonable for the city! Most important thing is the masseuse here are very skilled and have worked in the industry for over 10 years. They also have new owners now: Anastasia and Dylan!

Had a deep tissue massage from Nathan. It was a great hour of deep therapy for my aging body. I still feel I am glowing with renewed appreciation for life 3 hours later. Nathan found a number of right spots on my neck and back to work on. One thing that could have been better is: the healing music gradually got louder and became quite annoying. Another thing is this place is located on the 17th floor of a building: the office space feels rather desolate.

I had the absolute best spa experience here! Had the hydraglow facial which was very effective for clearing out my skin. She addressed some of my skin concerns with practical product recommendations. 12/10 experience and would recommend to anyone!

10/10, highly recommend! The staff was excellent, and the masseuse was amazing. I’m definitely making this part of my new monthly routine. The beautiful view overlooking the city, paired with the soothing fragrance of essential oils in the background, created the perfect ambiance for a relaxing head-to-toe massage.

Recently visited the J’Adore salon. It was very nice to be in such a beautiful interior, there is an exit to the balcony, from where a beautiful view of the city opens up. Afterwards I was invited into the office and given a Swedish massage. I came after a hard day at work and received tremendous pleasure and muscle relaxation. I recommend it to everyone. If you need a massage, I advise you to come to the J’Adore salon. And of course, I will definitely come again.

Had such a great time at this spa!! Their prices are very reasonable for SF and the fact that it’s located on the 17th floor adds to the massage in a city experience. After a long week of work it was a nice relaxing experience. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Massage was great! Honestly the best massage you can find, it’s not the relaxation one where you don’t get any help with your problems. I love how they work with problems of the back and try to work on your weak spots. Nathan is great! Honestly a great guy who is attentive and valuable and respectful. Prices are super nice now: 60$ per hour, come on!!! That’s perfect especially for students who spend a lot of time at the computer as me. Thank you again! The atmosphere is super nice and relaxing.

Massage was totally worth the price, and the staff is very friendly. Smooth scheduling, payment process etc. Easy to get to as the location is pretty central and their office is very clean. I loved that they have unscented oils, water etc.

Best massage of my life. Teri has magical hands. Better than massages I've had in Miami regularly, as well as a luxury place in Chicago, and the Buffalo NY massage school. Take the elevator to the 16th floor and walk up to the 17th. Massage clinic is past the dental clinic.

I purchased a Groupon to this spa during the holidays, but have been too busy to use it. Since the expiration date was getting close, I called to make a reservation using the Groupon. The receptionist told me that there were no appointments available before the Groupon expires, and that I would have to pay an extra $40 to use it after the expiration date. I asked him if he could be flexible, and still allow me to use the Groupon after the expiration date, since the Groupon was still valid at the moment but they didn't have any availability before the expiration. He told me it was my fault for waiting so long to use the Groupon, and that he wouldn't allow me to use it after the expiration. His lack of customer care and empathy really caught me off guard. He also kept insisting it was "a Groupon promotion," not "[his] promotion," as if his business hadn't chosen to make the Groupon available. His business gave me a timeframe in which to use the Groupon, and I tried to use it during that timeframe. However, when there was no availability, he criticized me several times, and was unwilling to work with me to make the best out of the situation. It was the opposite of customer service. I had been looking forward to trying out this spa. Yes, I waited to use the Groupon, but I was still within the stated timeframe. It had not expired. Given the poor customer service over the phone, I have no interest in going there or giving them my business.

The female massage therapist was great when I first used a Groupon. I called because I forgot about my appointment to apologize. I knew their policy is 48 hours which is absolutely crazy to me and was hesitant about booking. Given this policy, I’d like to see a text message not just an email reminder before the appointment to confirm and remind me of my appointment. as a previous receptionist at a medical clinic, I know it’s always good to emphasize with clients especially since many don’t actually call to apologize and good customer service and empathy go a long way. I thought long and hard before writing this review, but even when the receptionist answered, there wasn’t a helpful tone in his voice. It’s sad because the place has a lot of potential but they completely missed the mark on customer service just via their receptionist and considering I’m still being charged, explaining the policy and apologizing would have been the best route. I didn’t call to dispute the charge by any means just to apologize . I think it does speak volumes that so many appointments are not booked so many people could potentially feel the same way, but after reading further reviews , on Groupon, I won’t be returning. This place had lots of potential but for me, it just didn’t hit the mark. I also won’t be frequently businesses any longer with 48 hour cancellation policies especially when they are making it hard to cancel online these days (not this business just in general. I did not try to cancel this online) I feel like to a certain extent, sure life can happen. It’s not ideal but emphasizing towards the customer goes a long way and would have had me back however after this experience, I just had a bad experience. If the customer service was better, I’d return. There are places with more reasonable policies that send text message reminders. Perhaps a solution could be charging more for some flexibility in scheduling and having better customer service skills.

I discovered Spa J'Adore via a Yelp deal in early 2015: I requested for a female masseuse and was assigned Sammy. Given my extensive massage experiences in Asia, I am fairly picky: I like a good amount of pressure and longer strokes (e.g., Swedish, Balinese) but not acupressure (Chinese style) or Thai massage (which I jokingly call "forced yoga"). Sammy was AMAZING: She did a combination of deep tissue (for areas that needed them most such as shoulder and upper back) and Swedish. She skillfully worked on the knots and got rid of many of them within 60 minutes. After that first session, I knew I've found my masseuse in SF and immediately purchased a package from Spa J'Adore. I've been a regular here for 8 years. Unfortunately business seems to have been slow since Covid, so I thought I'd try to boost them with a review. A few other reviews may have mentioned that the spa itself is on the 17th floor (penthouse) of a gorgeous historical building with a balcony that has a splendid view of the city. Parakeets sometimes come hang out there (cute!). The elevators only go up to 16th floors though and guests have to take the stairs up to the penthouse (therefore I don't think it's wheelchair accessible). The reception area is decorated seasonally, e.g. for Halloween and the Holidays. Spa J'Adore has an online booking system which is fairly convenient. Even though they've raised their prices in the last few years due to inflation, they are still very reasonably priced for a great spa just off Union Square. Highly recommend this place and I'll continue to come back as long as Sammy is here!

My son kindly gave me 2 Groupon massages for Spa Jadore - I have now been twice and both times was lucky enough to have Ilea for the massages. He is a true expert and has amazing hands to work out the stress and the knots. He loves to chat ( as do I, so I was fine with it - I am sure if you ask not to chat he would oblige) A wonderful and one of the best massages I have ever had! Don't miss it!
