I had three treatments here on one day and it was absolutely lovely. An amazing massage, relaxing and rejuvenating facial, and a manicure. the manicure used a polish - not gel - that still lasted for WEEKS without chipping. everyone was so kind and professional. truly, an exceptional experience. can’t recommend highly enough.

I had an amazing maternity massage (currently 6 months pregnant) by Linda. She gave me great advice on different things I can do to recover post partum and got a lot of kinks out of my shoulders and back!

Quick same day appointment. In town for a work conference, called and spoke with Jennifer, she was so accommodating and very courteous when making appointment. Derek was my therapist and he was phenomenal. Deep pressure was just what I needed. Highly recommend!!!

I hosted a bachelorette party at Spa Jema. It was the perfect place to pamper everyone. Jennifer was incredibly helpful setting everything up and took great care of us on the big day. The space is lovely and calming, with nice places to sit in between services and a magical outdoor courtyard.

I work downtown and have been going to Spa Jena for years. I have tried many of the services. It’s always an amazing experience and I leave feeling refreshed both in body and spirit. Everyone is so sweet and kind. I especially love Emily’s mani’s and pedi’s!

Spa Jema was fantastic. We had written our appointment time down wrong and were an hour late. Even with the error they accommodated our 4 person party. They have a ton of options and are located downtown which is super convenient

What a great little place!! They offer everything you want in a Spa in a quaint space. Their little dog Lucky was so sweet and greeted us as we walked in. We had a couples massage and were not disappointed. Both masseuse offered impeccable service and attention to detail. Mostly we were elated that we were not up-charged with and “add-ons” or pressured into extra services. Definitely give them a try!

I booked a hydrafacial and was assigned Linda - she was phenomenal! She customized everything according to my skin concerns, was very thorough & gave an amazing massage during my mask. I'll be coming back for a deep tissue massage with her for sure!

My sister and I booked a facial and massage respectively for part of my 50th birthday celebration, and everything was PERFECT! The spa is beautiful and welcoming with a relaxing vibe, and the services were phenomenal as well. What a hidden gem in the middle of the city! 💙

My husband booked a 30 minute massage and the VIP mani & pedi. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of Spa Jema. Emily did my mani & pedi and so I spent about two and a half hours with her and she is so kind and warm and welcoming and I would (will) come back in a heartbeat. Not to mention that she did an excellent job on my nails and the color she chose for my birthday polish is super cute!

I was in town for a conference, found myself with some free time band decided to treat myself. Not only was the establishment super welcoming, it was by far one of the best massages I have ever received. Highly recommend!!

OMG. THE BEST DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE was fabulous. Linda did my whole body. She is so strong. Feeling fantastic after an hour massage. Coming back in two weeks.

The staff is very friendly and inviting. They make sure you are confortable and pamper you in a good way. There is a cute white small dog around welcoming the guests that brings a playful side to the experience. The house is huge full of rooms and stairs. It has overall a dim light which turns the space into a cosy house that offers some privacy in case that's your intention.

They were late in taking us back and didn't offer robes like other guests had. I know they're going through a renovation... Hopefully it's better in the future

I am literally just leaving Spa Jema and I couldn't wait to hop on an leave a glowing review. I got an hr long deep tissue massage, and it was incredible. It was my first time in and I will absolutely be back! I dont get to pamper myself often these days, so I want to make sure my time and money are well spent. This was affordable, convenient to get to and park by, and the massage itself was wonderful and exactly what I needed. My only regret is not getting the 90 min massage!

My husband did a couples massage and it was the best! It was such a relaxing experience. The vibe was perfect for the relaxing weekend we much needed. We would definitely go to Pittsburgh just for another massage. Mind you we live in Erie.

Had an appointment for weeks. They had a problem with their sauna and had to close to for the day. Drove 30 min to get here to be told that they can’t do our appointment. No phone call, no text. Nothing. Awful customer service from them. Double think before you decide to come here.

Came here with a group of four for a bachelorette party and everything was awesome. They accommodated two of us per room and the atmosphere was serene, comfortable, and relaxing. I'll definitely be going back either solo or with another group.

I treated myself to the sampler package which included mani, pedi, facial, and massage. I was welcomed at the door by Lucky, the sweetest dog around! Emily, the nail tech, was very kind and did an excellent job with my nails. If you’re looking for a relaxing and welcoming spa with great service I highly recommend Spa Jema!

My BFF were in town for a birthday weekend. We went to Spa Jema for 1 hour massages each. My masseuse was Brittany. This was my first massage ever and it was a wonderful experience! I'll definitely be back!

Overall, my experience yesterday (9/21) at Spa Jema was good. I had a gift card and scheduled a 90 minute massage and a 30 minute facial. The technician who did my facial (after my massage) was very good and extremely cordial. My massage was “decent”.The technician was very nice when she introduced herself and took me to the massage room. She then asked if I had any issues that I wanted to address with the massage, etc. However, after she started the massage, the only word that I can use to describe her approach is “disconnected”. A couple of examples follow. First, after I had my head/face in the cushion for a long time, because I was on my stomach, it became uncomfortable for me to breathe through my nose. So, when she stopped for a moment to change her position, I mentioned that I would need to lift and/or turn my head for a few minutes. She didn’t even acknowledge that she heard me, didn’t say “let’s take a moment” or anything. She just continued her mechanical approach. The same type of thing when she hit some sensitive nerves/muscles (not her fault). When it happened 2 or 3 times, my leg obviously jerked. Instead of saying, “oh, let’s work on that” or “that must be sensitive”, she just kept going in a very mechanical way. Never, at any point, did she ask if the massage pressure was ok, how I was doing, etc. Lastly, I was surprised that she did not massage my hands and feet. She did some introductory massage on the bottoms of my feet through the blankets at the very beginning. I had the same 90 minute massage at Spa Jema about two months ago. Both my hands and my feet were massaged. Today, that was not the case, at all. When she was done, she instructed me to put the robe on and then came in and took me to another area to wait for the other therapist who would do my facial. She never asked if I enjoyed the massage, never said thanks for coming in, didn’t offer a glass of water, didn’t say anything else. She just walked away. I have had many massages and have never had an experience like this with a massage therapist. In fact, my previous experience at Soa Jema was so much better than this. She was just disconnected and mechanical….both during and after the massage. Spa Jema is a very nice place. It is clean and has very good aesthetics.

This is my favorite spa in Pittsburgh. All of the massages I’ve gotten here have been amazing. Ashley and Allison are the best! I also always manage to find parking on Stanwix St which is nice. Highly recommend this place!

We booked an early Valentine’s Day couples massage and everything was fantastic. Simple check-in, relaxing atmosphere, friendly and professional staff, and the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had.
