Was asked to tip 30% to 35% percent after an hour massage and was fought and insisted on my 20% and my massage didnt even include hot stones. will never be coming back!

Same thing as other reviewers, I got a 60 min massage, tipped 20% (even though it was not great, very stressful/fast and not relaxing or thorough). The staff got annoyed with me and asked that I would tip 25%. Ha, the audacity. When I said I didn’t want to, I wanted to tip “only” 20%- she said “whatever” and didn’t speak to me again/ silent treatment . Fun relaxing times. Will never go back.

"Spa On 7th" - A Disgrace to the Wellness Industry I'm not one to air grievances online, but my experience at "Spa On 7th" was so abhorrent that it warrants a warning to others. I booked a massage with Vicky, who, despite her technical skills in alleviating my back pain, showed a shocking lack of professionalism and basic human decency. The session cost $60, and I tipped her $10, more than the standard 15%. Instead of gratitude, Vicky's response was appalling. She muttered "Go and DIE" in Chinese, under the assumption that I wouldn't understand. But I did, and her words left me stunned and disgusted. To think that a customer who had just paid and tipped generously could be treated with such disrespect is beyond belief. In conclusion, while the massage service at "Spa On 7th" may be technically sound, the appalling lack of respect and professionalism is a deal-breaker. I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment. Save your money and your self-respect. There are plenty of other places where your business will be appreciated and you won't be insulted behind your back.

I just left here a few hours ago. It was my second visit. The woman who did my hour foot rub put zero effort into it…she rubbed the same spot on each foot, respectively, the entire time. She also skipped over the hot stones at the end. When it was time to pay, I tipped her close to 20%, despite the poor service. She watched me fill in the tip amount and then pulled out her calculator, and asked that I change it to a 30% tip. Trust me when I say, I won’t be back. In fairness, the first experience was decent. It was a pretty good massage experience. I was just so put off by this last time though.

Got a one hour massage here with Vicky and she was phenomenal. She did a really deep tissue massage and loosened up all my knots. She was also very sweet and hospitable. I highly recommend this place!

Loved it so much that I went 2 times on my first day today for 90 minutes. After the first 90 minute I left but then I decided to go back for another massage an hour later. It was so great that tipping was not a problem for me both times. Didn't even think twice. Massage is great.

When my 45 minute massage was over she asked if I wanted more time. Sine she had only massaged one of my legs I felt obliged to agree, even though I was short on extra time. After the hour was over, she hadn't massaged my feet at all, which seemed strange as it's standard practice, and all the tension seems to travel there in the course of the massage. I kneaded my own feet for a moment then left the room to pay. I tipped 18%, which I thought plenty fair, but she insisted that there was a 20% minimum for tips, lol. I noted to her that tips are optional, but she insisted. The extra $2 bought her this review. To be fair, there were some good parts about the massage, but atm my lower back feels worst than when I went in. Needless to say I wont be returning.

I have been a regular at this spa for almost two years now and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Anna is the only masseuse that I have seen, and I can attest that she is extremely skilled and very friendly. Although I can't speak to the other staff, I am certain that they would do an excellent job as well. The space is nicely decorated and is very relaxing and clean. I recommend calling to make an appointment in advance, as they are often too busy for walk-ins.

Paid $55 for a 1-hr massage (+tip) to help with some volleyball, upper-back pain. It almost entirely did the trick and I am grateful! It is not a luxury spa, but it felt private and professional, and the place was clean. Met all my expectations--5 stars!

Loved my massage. Went her last Sunday with my husband for a couples massage. We both had a great experience! The massages were targeted to our pain. Working through areas they felt has knots. I love these kinds of massages. I would highly recommend this place. Oh plus the beds had a heated pad. On a cold winter day this was just perfect. So relaxing.

I can’t believe how awful this place was. I bought a groupon after just moving to this area to try out a few different massage places and find a regular. I called and scheduled my appointment and while on the phone the woman tried to convince me to cancel my groupon and she would offer me he same price in house. I thought it was odd but figured maybe groupon takes a large percentage so I looked into it. I realized my Groupon had passed the accepted time to cancel and was unable to cancel it and called the spa and told them over the phone. When I showed up for my appointment they asked for a payment of 70$ upfront. When I gave them my groupon which I had already paid a lesser price for they freaked out and said they wouldn’t accept it. I told them I tried to cancel but I was unable to and I apologize. They took me back to the room where I got undressed and waited for my massage. There was hair all over the bed and it was clear the cover hadn’t been changed in a long time. As I was half naked the front desk woman barges in with her manager on the phone yelling at me that they won’t take my groupon. I tried to gather myself and got in the phone with a woman who told me she would offer me ten extra minutes for 70$ if I didn’t use the groupon. I told her no, as I had already paid $60 for the groupon and wasn’t going to waste another 70$ for the same thing. She told me to get out and that she wouldn’t accept my groupon. I stood there half naked and completely baffled. I tried to reason with the front desk woman but she just told me to leave and stormed out of the room. I wouldn’t recommend anyone ever go here as they clearly have no respect for people. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with customer service.
