What a wonderful place. So a bit confusing to find but you have to enter a parking garage (there are signs on the outside that say Spa Palace) and take an elevator to floor 3. I booked the milk and honey treatment in advance the day of. When I got to the front desk, they asked for my id, handed me a locker key, towels and slippers. They asked if it was my first time there (it was) but didn't really explain much. The front desk was perfectly nice, just again didn't say much except to shower before entering the jacuzzi area, soak in the jacuzzi for 30 min and then I'd be called up. There are signs everywhere explaining things like no clothing in the jacuzzi area etc which I expected in a Korean spa. Note: you should bring a swim suit for the communal areas! The jacuzzi area was fairly empty when I entered. I sat alone in the tub for 30 min. They call your number when you're up. My scrub was amazing. My attendant was thorough, and I felt well taken care of. The milk and honey treatment includes a scrub, milk & honey massage, face mask and hair wash. I emerged feeling like a newborn baby. Then I headed to the communal area to find the restaurant which had a wide selection of food, drink and dessert. I got the bulgolgi bibimbap, and it was amazing (big portion too). I didn't end up spending too much time in the different rooms but overall it was a wonderful and tranquil experience! Overall the facilities seemed pretty clean.

An absolutely serene and rejuvenating experience. The atmosphere was calming, the facilities were spotless, and the overall ambiance made it easy to relax and unwind. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated to create a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful escape and self-care. There are three temperatures for spa bathing: 1. Cold Plunge: 50°F (10°C) Provides an invigorating and refreshing experience, ideal for improving circulation and muscle recovery. 2. Hot Bath: 104°F (40°C) Comfortable and soothing, this is a common temperature for relaxation and stress relief. 3. Safest Max Hot: 110°F (43°C) The upper limit for most spa environments, as prolonged exposure above this can pose health risks. Always limit time at this temperature. There are also other very fine facilities: 1. Restaurant* (limited hours), 2. Hot room, 3. Cold room, 4. Pool, 5. Bar* (limited hours). 6. Pamper extras, such as male and female scrubs, nail care, etc. *Wrist tag serves as a tab that will be paid upon exiting.

It's clean, and open 24/7. It has food, various of jacuzzies, pool in a common area, massage chairs, etc. Great place overall!

I have lots of thoughts on this one. I also want to help anyone who is considering going here information on what to expect because I found that the website did not provide adequate information. I did not come prepared but that doesn't have to happen to you if you read this. The information I'm referring to is specifically that this facility will give you either a ROBE or a UNIFORM to wear in the co-ed area, but not both. It is industry standard for a spa to provide you with both. I've never been to a co-ed spa where they don't give you clothes. When I addressed this to the gentleman at the front desk (who was very polite and courteous, I might add), he explained they give robes so that people don't go into the pool with the uniform. Essentially, the expectation was for the customer to bring a bathing suit, but that's no on the website and no one mentioned that when I called. Eventually, they caved and gave me a uniform and a robe, but it would serve everyone better if this information was on the website. Even though it worked out for me, this may not work out for other customers who don't feel comfortable walking around in just a bathing suit and robe. Both should be provided. I'll begin with the positive of what I liked in this facility: it was HUGE and quiet. I went on a Monday night holiday and was surprised how few people were there. I appreciated the free parking. I liked that there were plenty of facilities and places to rest. It feels like the owner took notes from Wi Spa and built quite a good competitor of a spa. I will say that the co-ed pool area looked really cool when you walked in. Had I been prepared with the information, I would have loved to come swim some laps, lounge around and use the spa facilities. I loved the robes - they were big, good material, and was really cozy wearing mine. I also appreciated that they had large towels as well. The body wash, shampoo and conditioner were fantastic! I liked the Himalayan salt spa - it was the perfect temperature and beautifully decorated inside. However, I noticed that, while a lot of investment was put into the facilities themselves, there was some noticeable cut corners. First, the pool in the co-ed area isn't heated so don't expect to use this in cold winter months. Second, as I addressed earlier, they were stingy with many items such as robes, uniforms, and TOWELS. You don't get more than 1 large and 1 small towel. You also don't get a razor or toothbrush unless you ask for one. It also seemed like they were understaffed as it took a long time to get our food. That's likely because it was a holiday, but the food itself was a little disappointing. I ordered the spicy beef soup and was a little disappointed to find no carbs of any kind with the meal. No noodles inside the soup and no side of rice. I was hungry not much later. Also, bring shoes because they don't provide any and it seems like a lot of people wear their shoes from the outside in the spa (which is unsanitary IMO). All in all, I had a great time and you will too if you have everything you need to be prepared for how this particular spa functions. It has great potential and I hope it gets more customers so that way it can be a more comfortable experience with all the bells and whistles.

A mi pareja y a mi nos gusta ir seguido pero estaría genial que también tuvieran duchas en parejas, a algunos no nos importa la desnudez de los demás. 👍

Secluded and clean! For $35 its a great deal, If you’re coming for a massage and really want that american resort ‘spa’ experience, maybe this isnt the place for you lol Ive been to spa’s in iceland, and around the world, I get it, but i think people come in, lacking the awareness of Korean spa culture- Korean spa culture is about a communal experience, it’s not about an exclusive resort luxury feeling, it’s deep rooted in a culture of self care and wellbeing- its focused on being affordable, multifunctional and a social experience. Spa palace perfectly hits these marks! (Much cleaner than wi spa imo) If you’re reading bad reviews, I feel a lot of them come from people who dont understand what korean spas are 🙂↕️🫶 Someone wrote “go to Glen Ivy instead” and I’m like girl that’s a totally different type of place lol Anyways, enjoy! Hope this helps someone!

This place has unfortunately declined quite a bit since I first started coming. The new woman at the front Kelly is very rude. The prices have increased and the facilities have not improved much unfortunately. Such a shame. I would recommend Wi spa over this.

Cold saunas, smelly jacuzzis, and a pool in a cold dark room. It is simply impossible to sweat even a drop in the sauna. I am so upset for the wasted and ruined evening. I asked at the entrance if the saunas were hot, the girl said "Yes, very hot!" it was a blatant lie right in my face! After the spa I want to leave rested in body and soul, in this place it is simply impossible to do this, just disappointment and anger remained after this experience. There is no one here, just empty, now I understand why, if someone accidentally gets here, they will never come back. After I checked the saunas I left and asked for a refund so that I could go to wi spa, I was refused. I was simply deceived at the entrance, that's what they do! Never go here, especially Russian speakers, you will simply be in shock! The temperature in the saunas is lower than June in Los Angeles

I would have to agree with the previous review. The lady that answers the phone desk and I assume she works at the desk also was very rude. I never made it in there for services. This is how this went. I made an appointment for my daughter’s birthday due to my daughter choosing this spa. I’ve never been here and do not deal with classless places as such. The first appointment was at 10am. I booked one and there was only one slot for 10am open so I booked two spa treatments for 2pm and called to cancel the 10am one. Immediately I saw $420 dollars placed on my account as if I went to the spa. Ok, so the front desk rude personal proceeded to tell me they will be holding my money for 3 to 5 days. She then hung up on me (can you believe it) Also, that because they book from a third party I will have to pay another $300 when I show up that next day. So let’s add that up. $420 + $300= 720 dollars that this spa thinks they are getting out of me in two days and I have only booked an appointment. Therefore, I woke up and told my daughter I refuse to pay these people another dime of my money. I cancelled the appointment. Fast forward to 5 days later after my daughter even called and the receptionist at the desk told her I would be receiving my money back 3 days later I have yet to receive my money. So I have had $420 dollars of my funds on hold due to scheduling an appointment. Please beware of their scam. There is no spa I have ever went to and they have held my money for scheduling an appointment. Today I am taking the police in there to obtain my funds in my hands immediately. This is definitely a crime. They will lose a lot of customers. You do not take people’s money and think you can hold on to it and they have not received services. That’s called theft! There was no serenity involved in this even booking the spa so I can imagine actually going to the appointment. How many more stressful surprises would there had of been. I’ll stick to my spas I do too! Please don’t go here if you don’t want your money on hold Update: 7 days later! I made the appointment on a sat and it is now a week later on a sat. I have yet to receive $420 dollars that they have held due to me only making an appointment. I did cancel my Appointment in a reasonable amount of time. After 3 emails to the owner by the name of KELLY CHOI she finally responded after I was heated and told her off. She never once responded to a nice email questioning why my money was held for this long of a time. I spoke with the girl at the register and she really did not know at this point. At first my daughter called to see why they were taking my money and the girl at the desk told her the money would return to my account on Tuesday or Wednesday. When Thursday came and I called to f/u because I had no response from Kelly Choi at this point. The girl at the desk had an attitude once again and says “well wait for 7 days and your money will be back in your account”. I then hung up because at this point I was exhausted. I emailed Choi one las time with a nasty email out of pure frustration and being ignored and treated as if this was something right happening to me. She then responded in defense stating I was harassing her lol. I told her call the police and let’s really see who’s in the wrong here. She then talked down to me as if I was not educated and accused me of not knowing what an authorization was. After the back and forth and never any apology or resolution I felt o would deal with the better business bureau and the court system so I went and filed a lawsuit for the pure purpose that they even had the nerve to hold this much of my money. Today makes the 7th day and I have yet to see my money in my attempt to spread the word to make people aware of their unprofessionalism even while booking an appointment. To be clear since this is a mess they held $420 dollars of my money from my bank account after booking an appointment. Their reason being is because they deal with a third party person that books and they are actually holding my money. It’s their policy from Choi

Pretty good, I come back here often with my partner to unwind and relax. Parking is easy. Lots to do and even has some pools and jacuzzis.

Probably one of the worst First Impressions experiences. This Spa however provides the basic hot tub, multiple saunas and pool. But it lacks a lot of character and upscale. However cheap and less expensive entry with $35 per person. So meh you get what you pay for. Just lower your expectations and you’ll enjoy yourself.

The masseuses here are the best. I've never had a better massage than here. Their bathing and hot tub, cold plunge, and saunas in the women's side are so amazing. Very clean. The communal area with the different saunas and cold room are so relaxing. I got a fresh juice and smoothie while here and both were great. I wish I lived here because I would probably come at least once a month, if not more. Also, they have a newer communal pool/hot tub floor. You will need to wear a bathing suit on this floor. It's beautiful and super big!

Was a lot cleaner when we used to come here. We moved to OC but came to LA for Spa Palce and Ktown today but left the Spa disappointed. The price went up to 35 and they don't provide spa uniform. They give gowns which was just really uncomfortable in the common area where you lie down or sit on the floor mostly. That is the Korean spa culture. The gown was totally not Korean thing! The bath area was slippery and needed cleaning. The interior is beautiful and the dry sauna is good. I wish the owners put more effort and heart into perseving Korean Sauna culture and put up more signs that instruct how to use the facility properly (only one sign on the Estrace door to thr bath place, easy to miss). What I most hate is people just going into hot water tubs without taking a shower. It gets the water dirty and the tiles slippery. These tile tubs are not the same as swimming pool jacuzzi. They are public bath tubs. It needs to be kept clean and sanitized.

Honest Review I purchased the Aroma massage with day pass for $130 - I expected to stay for the day & ended up feeling so uncomfortable & upset that I left right after my massage. The young ladies at the desk were antagonistic with any inquiries made and refused to acknowledge any errors. Do expect a rude reception if you ask even the simplest question such as where the bathrooms are located (no there’s no map or signs to guide you thru the facility, no there’s no one inside to assist, & no bathrooms are not in the locker area like most spas). Do expect barely understandable communication during your less than pleasant massage. Do expect to be demanded to give a tip & handed a tip envelope then shoved out of the room after your massage (see other reviews stating this exact same experience). Do expect to be lectured, not spoken to but spoken AT, citing all of their policies, none of which were emailed to you at booking, but sit on a paper at the front desk facing the receptionists. Do expect to be fully nude if you want to use the actual spa area. Do expect half a dozen flashing disco strobe lights & insanely loud party music with a huge pool of cold water in the only area you CAN wear a bathing suit (because we all go to relaxing spas for a full on rager, right?). Do expect the food area to be dingy and nowhere near clean enough to safely eat. Do expect dirty printouts of dishes displayed with half the menu items blocked out as unavailable with no description of Any of the dishes. Do Not expect to feel welcomed, relaxed, or even as if you’re at a spa. Do Not expect a response from management (Mark) and certainly no refund. I would not suggest Spa Palace to anyone interested in a relaxing spa experience. The homeless people laying out front to greet you as you enter is a strong indicator of what’s to come. Time and money are far better spent at Glen Ivy or Murrietta Hot Springs.
