Cutting short hair is an art. Jeffrey is my guy, I've been going to him for years. I drive from Westchester every 6-8 weeks, it's my beauty treat. Both Jeffrey and Gabriel are so talented, engaging and fashion forward. I feel the sparkle every time.

I've been a loyal client of Sparkle Beauty Studio and the artists Gabriel and Jeffrey for 20 years. These are two of the most genuine people in the world. They love their clients and treat everyone with such kindness, respect, and professionalism. And I've not even mentioned the wonderful hair cuts, make-up-styling-beauty tips I've received.... not to mention the amount of compliments I get on my hair cuts. I love change and I'll change my hair cut and hair color as often as I change my moods. Gabriel and Jeffery can pick up on that and give me a style that suits my ever changing moods, that suits my lifestyle and ultimately always feels like ME! The studio itself is warm, inviting, and charming. Gabriel and Jeffery are always professional and graceful. It's just a treat to have this gem in my life. When life isn't feeling so pretty, I just know my hair will still look amazing in the hands of Gabriel & Jeffery.

I've been getting my hair cut at Sparkle for the last seven years, and never once had a bad styling. Gabriel is a master at his craft, and Jeffery is the king of customer service. Yes, it's a little more expensive than your typical barber shop, but it's well worth it. Rather than having to get my hair cut every few weeks, Gabriel's styling lasts for months. And it looks good. As I travel around the world, I get unsolicited compliments on my hair. I would rather drive the 25 miles to get my hair cut at Sparkle than save time and money getting my hair done locally. I highly and enthusiastically recommend Sparkle to all of my friends and associates.

Looking for a hairdresser? Keep looking! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR ENERGY ON THESE PEOPLE OR AT THIS SALON!!! I was recently a first time client and was in total shock from how they conduct business!!! If I could give them NEGATIVE 5 STARS I would! Stay away from this place! Run! Worst hairdressers that don't understand how to treat people. The terrible hair cut isn't even the issue.... In fact, they insulted me and ridiculed me numerous times in any fashion they could... They were disgusting towards me and even threatened me! All because I asked that they make both sides of my hair the same length (Gabriel cut my hair and one side was noticeably an inch longer than the other side) and if they could blend my layers more so it wouldn't look choppy (he did a straight chop cut of my hair which no professional would ever do). If I gave a pair of scissors to a 5 year old, the 5 year old would've done a better job than these guys! I thought I was on an episode of "hidden camera". Both Gabriel & Jeffrey were vile towards me and completely UNPROFESSIONAL on every level. I've never experienced such a horrendous experience anywhere for any reason! Realizing the severity of the situation (especially after they threatened me), I was forced to call the POLICE for backup! TERRIBLE PEOPLE. TERRIBLE PLACE. Yes, you read that correctly... I had no other option but to call the NYPD to get these guys to stop what they were doing to me! You're probably thinking, 'why didn't you just leave?' Well, that's because they THREATENED MY SAFETY, PERSONAL PRIVACY AND WELL BEING and also said they'd press charges against me for "abandoning payment" (they even said this to the police.) Neither of the men ever offered any type of apology for their behavior and what they put me through. Neither of them have any customer service skills or the ability to make their clients feel welcome. Adversely, as soon as Gabriel destroyed my beautiful long layers, they acted like bullies with a malicious purpose until the moment the COPS arrived. Their true colors shined brightly and wow! You'd think they'd be completely ashamed of how unprofessional (to put it nicely) they treated me. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE THE KIND OF PLACE YOU'D TAKE A CHANCE WITH?!?! I now have the pleasure of taking time out of my hectic schedule to go to another hairdresser to fix the damage they did to my hair! And I now have the responsibility to be sure my brutally honest horrendous experience is heard by anyone thinking of going to this place. They're wild canons that aren't afraid to verbally abuse their clients, purposely ruin their hair and then laugh at you and say, "it's art" in an evil tone.

Sparkle Beauty Studio is my home in the West Village. Jeffrey & Gabriel have created a jewel box -- an oasis of beauty and tranquility combined with exceptional hair and make-up experience. The care, artistry, skill, talent, precision and love that Jeff & Gabriel put into each and every client is evident. Trust me, I spent 4 years flying into NYC from SF to have Jeff style my hair because anyone else was sub-par. As for the laughter, jokes, conversations, stories and fun we've shared throughout the years - those are memories I cherish. These gentlemen are masters of their trade and I am grateful that each time I leave -- I look and feel like a VIP!

Sparkle is the BEST!! I've been a long time client and can't recommend Jeffrey and Gabriel enough. The salon is intimate and well appointed. Jeffrey and Gabriel's attention to detail is unparalleled whether it be mixing just the right color or styling to perfection or recommending the best place in the neighborhood to take your new cut/color for a drink!

The best place to get your hair and make up done, I have been going to Sparkle for as long as it's been opened and long before that to Gabriel. The service is impeccable. I just don't trust anyone else to touch my hair other than Sparkle.

The first time I went to Sparkle Beauty Studio, my hair was an utter disaster caused by two bad haircuts at two different salons that week, however, Gabriel worked his magic, and I left extremely happy with the results. Ever since that day, nearly six years ago, I have trusted no one else with my hair! Gabriel and Jeffrey have created an absolutely beautiful, warm, and welcoming space at their studio, and I always look forward to my appointments, as I know I will leave feeling pampered with my hair looking fabulous!!
