Flew into Chicago to play a couple shows and while practicing I had an extreme tennis elbow flare-up. Explained the problem to Ben and he fixed me right up. Felt like he removed a scaffolding from my neck, back and shoulders. First time massage! Highly recommend

I have been here twice, once at their OG location and the new one and each time Dani has done a wonderful job with my haircut and is very considerate. I go to salons infrequently but Sparrow feels so comfortable and easy to book I don’t consider going anywhere else for my biyearly haircut. The staff is always very polite and friendly as well. I highly recommend!

I just had the most wonderful massage from Ben at Sparrow Salon and Spa! I can’t recommend him enough! From the very beginning, he was so easy to talk to, which made me feel super comfortable and at ease. He has an amazing massage technique and knows how to work out all the right spots. He was so responsive to my needs and made it easy to communicate. It was such a great experience, and I left feeling totally relaxed and rejuvenated, which is exactly what I needed. If you’re looking for a kind and incredibly talented massage therapist, I can’t say enough good things about Ben!

The new space on Wrightwood is incredible. It's so bright and beautiful. It's very relaxing with stunning art pieces. The way the sun comes through the windows will instantly bring a smile to your face. Alondra did my cut and color, she's very patient and understood what I was trying to say. She has a very calming energy that will make you sink into the comfort of the chair with total confidence that you will get up feeling and looking your best. There is no pressure to chat but she lit up when I started talking about cats! 10/10 hair and total experience!

I have come in myself and brought in more than one family member that have been in dire need of a haircut but have not found a semi-private place to get them. Sparrow is friendly and goes above and beyond to make you less anxious about the whole experience. Alondra has been the most attentive, personable and wildly talented hairstylist I have ever booked an appointment with. Safe to say l'Il be coming here for my cuts...forever?

Everyone is super nice and accommodating. I'm usually a highly nervous person in new places but Sparrow has always made me feel comfortable. Highly recommend Ashley as a hair stylist. She's very chill and does beautiful work. 10/10.

I love coming to this salon! Everyone is really kind and it’s a great relaxing space. My MVP Ashe does a great job cutting any length: she’s done everything for me from a sleek bob to a layered long cut (and even some fun color here and there!) and I always leave feeling 10/10.

Love that this salon's ethos is centered around "sensitive people"... haircuts have always been a little nerve-racking for me as a sensitive neurodivergent introvert with equally atypical hair 😅 but having this disclaimer on their website was super reassuring and I was not disappointed. Plus I received the best haircut of my life, that is still going strong 7wks out!

Small, high-end salon. Great location, easy to access via car, bus or train. No up selling of products. Always a laid back and very friendly experience with highly skilled stylists and colorists. All are welcome! Tips are cash or Venmo, which is smart. I go to Julia, they are the absolute best.

Best hair experience I've had. I had Ashley and she really seemed to have hair down to a science. She took things slow when I was hesitant, used a do-a-little-at-a-time approach which was really helpful. She recognized my cowlicks and how my hair would flow with the haircut. She kept it real about how she would style my hair like they are in the pictures but my hair would take on a different look in its natural firm (common sense, but I liked that acknowledgment). The overall vibe of this place was very friendly and chill. Definitely going back

I found Jessica when everything reopened after covid and she gave me my first haircut in months. It was perfect and she has continued to give me the best haircuts the past two and a half years. They grow out perfectly and I receive so many compliments about her work. She’s delightful to talk to and it’s always a fun experience. I can’t recommend Jessica and Sparrow enough!

Jessica has been my go-to for a haircut for several years now! She recently moved to Sparrow - and I will follow her to the ends of the earth because she’s just that good. Her haircuts are truly miles above the rest! Not only is Jessica incredibly skilled with my mid-length wavy layers, but she’s also hilarious, sweet and a genuine listener -- both about my hair and about life! I always leave my most confident self after sitting in Jess’ chair and I can’t recommend her enough!

Went to Sparrow for the first time since Jessica (stylist) recently moved here. I've been going to see Jessica for years and she is truly the absolute best! Thank you Jessica for making the time to see me while I was in town! My haircut feels amazing, as always. The salon itself was also super nice and cozy!
