Day Spa Package was awesome. Two treatments, lunch and 8 hours of total relaxation. Highly recommend arriving at 9am. Relax in Salt Cave then take a steam. 11 am massage. Lunch at 12:30. Facial at 2 pm. More Salt Room, relaxing by the pool, shower and done by 5pm. A whole day of pampering seemed to simply slide by in the most delightful way.

Had the worst massage here. I've never had a place ask for an upgrade fee for a "medium" pressure massage. The amount of pressure the masseur used made me feel so uncomfortable, it felt like she was just lightly applying lotion to my body. I wanted to get up from the table and walk out in the middle of my service. I asked for a little harder pressure but she said it was an additional fee for increasing the pressure to medium. Which I've never encountered in my life. There are lots of other spas in town who will treat you better with lots of better facilities. This spa has no sauna or hot tub. I told the front desk about my horrible massage and they just shrugged. Which tells you how this place likes to do business. My bf had a great massage and he said the pressure was great not light and weird. So if you are assigned a masseus named Candice either cancel your appointment, ask for someone else or prepare to be nickel and dimed during your service.

Loved the massage, had the signature 80 minute, highly recommend it if you want to really relax. Wife got the ‘muscle melt’ and said it was one of the best massages she’s had. Everything is carefully thought out and intentional, and love the day spa where you can continue to relax after. I recommend using the steam room (men/women each have their own) before and after a massage. You won’t be disappointed, we’ll definitely be back!

This is truly a deeply relaxing environment and experience. My husband and I have received several massages from Lidia and Brianna and both were super skilled masseuses. We will return often.

I have visited here twice for facials. Such a magical hidden oasis in Tucson. The esthetician is amazing, gave me so many tips and tricks to take better care of my skin. Best steam room, smells of eucalyptus and feels wonderful. Treat yourself and try it out!

The stars are for the facility and the reputation of this spa, which is excellent. The massage itself and our experience was far below expectations. It was my first time here with a girlfriend who had been multiple times previously. We chose the aromatherapy massage which was advertised as a scent experience where you pick your own essential oils to be later applied to your body during a massage. We chose the 50 min timeframe. I fully expected this service to include a full body massage. To start, both our massage therapists had no idea how to walk us through the aromatherapy portion. It was just an iPad by the front desk where you take a quiz...it was like those quizzes we all used to take on Buzzfeed, like "Who's your celebrity boyfriend?" It had nothing to do with what you actually wanted it to smell like and included zero education or information on the oils (e.g. lavender for relaxation, citrus for invigoration). You literally just clicked through the questions until you get to the final result which has the ingredients pre-selected for your lotion. The service started with a scrub, which I personally dislike because you're laying in sand the entire time. That was nowhere in the description of the service. Then came the "massage." My massage therapist was clearly new. She didn't do the same thing on each side of my body. My right hand was massaged, but not my left. My left foot was massaged way differently from my right. Bizarre. Her bedside manner was also indicative of her inexperience. Example, she was unsure what side of my body I was supposed to lay on for that treatment. Come to find out, it was only a massage of your arms, neck, and top of your legs. You spend the entire time on your back. My friend had a nearly identical experience with the lack of knowledge from the therapist on their own aromatherapy service and was also misled regarding the massage. At check out, there is a 20% tip precalculated in your total. So if you want to tip less, like I would have done, you have to justify it to the front desk. No thanks. It's a gorgeous facility. It's luxurious. It's calming and clean. I think this was a one-off experience, but for what it's worth do NOT do the aromatherapy massage.

I got a facial from Brooke and she did the most amazing job, it was one of the most relaxing things ever and my skin feels so soft and rejuvenated. Brooke is such a beautiful person and was very comforting and wonderful to talk to. This is definitely a must!

Went to Tucson for a girls weekend. I was so pleased with the staff and services at SpaWell… The aesthetician made our skin absolutely glow. The reflexologist was magical. The body scrub made me sparkle! I spent four days at the resort (two days at the spa) and I didn’t want to leave. I think I need a salt therapy lounge in my she-shed. Mimosas, sunshine, glorious quiet, lunch poolside- yeah. Paradise.

My husband and I went to the spa for massages and a facial. I was very happy with the services. The reason that I am only giving 3 stars is because I booked the special price for my facial when I called and specifically confirmed that is what I would get. It is also the reason we went on a Sunday and not a more convenient day. When we checked out today I was charged full price and was told that special is only available if you book online.

Not impressed. My brother gave me a $200 gift certificate to Spawell for my birthday. The day I decided to go, the steam room was out of commission waiting for parts. The salt room needs serious attention to maintenance, the filter in the AC ceiling cassette was plugged. I never could figure out if the salt unit was working or not. It sure made a lot of racket though. The pool was nice until you decided to use the ladder on the 5' end. The stainless-steel grab handles were hotter than hell and the ladder itself was poorly designed for egress. My masseuse did okay. She was polite and did her best to make my experience enjoyable. The kicker was at checkout whereby they added 20% gratuity to your bill. That was pretty much the icing on the cake for me. Typical Tucson, you don’t always get what you pay for ……… need I say

The staff is very friendly and professional. I received a great service as always. It’s sad to see this beautiful facility deteriorate slowly. Every time I come there’s an issue. This time the steam room was out of order and apparently it wasn’t the first time that has happened. This was very disappointing since I arrived earlier on a cold morning to warm up before a massage. There was also hair on a floor in one of the showers and a locker had stains of deride out tea or coffee. No housekeeping on weekends perhaps? I love spending time at this spa and hope things will improve from now on.

We had a great customer service experience. Jennifer was great over the phone when we were considering our options and in person showing us around. There is a small shop with lotions, clothes, stones, etc. The women's and men's side each had a sauna, locker room, bathrooms, showers, and waiting areas. The waiting areas had water, coffee, specialty teas, and trail mixes. There were comfy seats, pillow, blankets, and a view of the courtyard/ pool. The lockers had the robes and sandals. The bathroom sink had everything you would need to complete a spa day including hair styling tools, brushes, razors, makeup remover, toothbrushes, mouth wash, hair ties, and hair/body oils. The saltwater pool was nice and quiet with a view of the mountains. There is seating and tables and meditation music. We got a couples deep tissue massage and the staff was very nice and helpful. The oils used smelled wonderful and the whole experience was very peaceful. There was quite a buzz about the Himalayan Salt inhalation room around the resort so we sat in there after the massage. The room itself is beautiful with Himalayan salt tile. I personally didn't find any effects of it, but many people seem to like it. Overall, the experience was excellent and we would definitely go again. The staff was phenomenal!

Brooke gave me an amazing facial today. My skin felt so dry, now it’s soft and glowing. Highly recommend getting the Babor facial as these products are superior. The spa is a beautiful property with a magnificent view. Used the salt therapy room following my treatment. Left with lots of goodies too!

I love this spa and would give it 5 stars if it were more affordable. It is EXTREMELY expensive, and they automatically add a 20% gratuity on top of the already exorbitant prices. Too bad it's so pricey. Otherwise, I would go more regularly.

SpaWell was the perfect spa experience I was looking for while vacationing in Tucson. My husband treated me to a facial and a massage for my birthday. It was one of the best spa experiences I’ve ever had! I highly recommend Jennifer for a massage. It was one of the best massages I’ve ever had(and I’ve had a lot)! And Christie did a phenomenal job with the oxygen facial I had. Both of these therapist were so friendly and so knowledgeable with their skill sets. I also enjoyed the amenities such as the Himalayan Salt room & steam room. I definitely will be returning. Also a special thanks to management for sorting out a mistake I had made online booking these treatments. The customer service is impeccable!

We had a great 90 min massage, one of the best I've had in a long time. The spa is clean and very relaxing. Get a massage then head to the steam showers then jump into the salt water pool.
