Terry Powell is the most amazing hair stylist, colorist, artist in hair in the entire world. I have been going to Terry for 25 plus years and she is the best. My fine hair is hard to deal with and she gives a great cut that makes me look like I have thick hair. She does great color and highlights. I feel younger every time I go to see her! She gets Aplus plus plus in my book. And the Salon is lovely. Everyone is a professional there. Kudos to Special Effects! They all deserve it!

Got some tinsel in my hair on the 24th and the woman who did it was so sweet and nice. Definitely a great shop and community. All the stylists got along and it was a great environment. Definitely going back for more.

I just called to make my first appointment with this salon. I looked over their website and chose a stylist. When I asked for an appointment with that stylist, the woman laughed at me like I was an idiot and said the stylist left four years ago. I told her she was on the website and she made it worse by saying "The website is WRONG, honey." Ugh!! How rude is that! And to a new client!
