Beau is fantastic! I usually struggle with salons. I do not know how to explain what I want, I do not know how to advocate for my preferences, and I find the whole process confusing and overwhelming. Beau took time to listen, understand, and suggest options that considered my needs. He proposed a style that I had never considered, and it turned out awesome - both when he styled it initially and after I resumed my normal hair routine. Beau has created the kind of salon environment that I have always needed. He is accepting and accommodating, not pushy and judgey. I am so relieved that I found Beau and Spectrum Salon!

Beau does an amazing job! He worked with my older daughter to get her hair looking “like a rockstar!” and was so gentle with my toddler for her first haircut.

We've had several haircuts from Beau, for my 8yo, and for myself. He always provides a welcoming environment and is able to interpret my child's very specific vision for his hair.

Beau is so friendly and his work is awesome. Small salon in the back of Sola Salon. There are several other salons in there. Just walk in and it’s right there. Can’t miss it because of the Pride Flags! Super welcoming atmosphere. Felt right at home! He talked me through everything I wanted and really listened to everything I was looking for as I haven’t had a haircut in a long time. If you’re looking for an LGBTQ+ hairstylist with really chill emo music playing in the background (if you’re into that, I’m sure you can ask for other stuff too) then Beau is your dude! Seriously, I am so happy with my haircut and he even offered to fit me in for a week touch up if I so choose but I’m really pleased with my haircut and it’s exactly what I wanted. 😎😎😎

We had a wonderful salon experience with Beau today! I took two of my children to have haircuts and one of them exulted afterward: "This is the best place to come for a haircut! It didn't even hurt when he was combing my hair like it does when anyone else brushes for me!" We felt so welcomed, safe, and comfortable. Every detail of the room and our interaction was intentional and supportive. Thank you, Beau!

Beau is excellent! He’s friendly and accommodating. Any time I have a question or concern, he gives an extremely knowledgeable but easy-to-understand answer. He makes sure I’m involved with every step of my haircut.

Beau is excellent. I've also had anxiety around haircuts because of needing to make small talk with the stylists. Not only does Beau provide a silent haircut option so you don't have to worry about that, he is so easy to talk to that we ended up talking the whole time anyway. I was super happy with my haircut and I will definitely be coming back as a regular customer.

Beau is amazing; so understanding and accomodating! This was my son's (2 y/o) first haircut and I was expecting him to have a really hard time with someone touching his hair since he always fights me anytime I try to take care of it. Instead, he sat quietly the whole time and let Beau cut his hair. Very welcoming space!!

Beau was wonderful in helping me work with my hair. It had been about three years since my last cut so there was a bit extra to do. He helped walk me through a few different options for possibilities for my hair. I've fairly long, loose curly hair which leaves me a little worried when I work with a lot of hair dressers. He showed excellent knowledge and had a really good eye for some changes in a way to make the volume appear larger with some layering, and to take care of the split ends. I'll be rebooking as soon as I need another trim.

Beau is absolutely incredible! This was my first time with him. I cut and dye my own hair most of the time and there was no shame about my *questionable* diy cuts. We worked together to take my hair where I wanted it and he had so much patience as we tirelessly trimmed and snipped my way to perfectly blunt bangs. Such a kind person and very reasonably priced. So grateful to have met such an awesome stylist!

I can't say enough good things about Beau! My daughter is autistic and has super high anxiety and getting her a haircut has been a struggle. She's 6 and has never had one before ever. Beau was nothing short of absolutely amazing and made our experience great! First off, his little room is small and intimate. It's just him and the client (and parent/guardian). There are no other customers in there at the same time so he can focus on just 1 person at a time. That's a huge plus especially for my daughter. He put cartoons on the TV and let her play with some fidget toys to ease her anxiety. He explained everything he was doing every step of the way so my daughter wasn't surprised by anything and knew exactly what was going on. He even sprayed a little glitter on her hair after the cut to make it sparkle! By the end of it my daughter was smiling and so happy to have had her hair cut! I will definitely be going back and would recommend Spectrum to anyone who has any kind of issues or anxiety about going to a salon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beau is great for kid hair cuts. My fussy 4 year old loves coming to see him. In addition to a good and reasonably priced haircut, he gives out stickers, balloons, etc.

For years taking my son to get his haircut was a nightmare but then I found Beau after getting recommendations from other parents I knew in the area. Beau took the time to understand my son's fears and actually listen to him to the point where I could see my son relax. We've now gone to Beau for haircuts for the last year and each time my son is getting more and more comfortable.

I’ve been going here for a while now, as has my girlfriend. Beau is so amazing, his prices are more than reasonable, and he’s always doing whatever he can to make his customers’ experiences more enjoyable. I have baby fine hair, and it usually causes me problems with stylists/coloring because it gets caught and tangled on everything if you don’t know how to work with it. Never had any issues here at all. Beau has such a light touch that I can barely tell when he’s cutting/combing, even my favorite stylists in the past weren’t this gentle. I actually don’t mind going and getting my hair cut now.

A lovely first haircut experience for our 17 month old! Beau has all the tricks of the trade to keep a squirmy toddler still, and was quick, professional, and delightful to chat with. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Spectrum and will be back!

Beau is amazing! He took the time to go over my hair’s specific needs and work with me on realistic expectations on how i can get to my dream hair! Despite the fact i have a ridiculous amount of hair and he has to do extra work the prices are very fair for the quality you’re getting. They make getting hair a breeze- usually i struggle with conversation with other stylists but Beau makes you comfortable! I’ve gone to see him twice and plan on continuing in the future! Couldn’t recommend Spectrum Salon more!

Absolutely amazing everytime ♥️ I have an undercut & Beau is the only hairstylist I've found who can work with my funky hairstyle. He is perfect for all barber & Hairdresser needs , phenomenal with vibrant color combinations & artistic haircuts. Also very great with folks who have special needs, I never feel anxiety in Beau's chair, always a pleasure :)

Beau did a wonderful job of my son’s haircut. The last few cuts elsewhere left a lot to be desired but he pointed out how we could fix it and we were much happier. The environment is calming and friendly for a shy toddler. We will definitely be back.

I've had a great experience with Beau doing my cut & color! Though I'm not his usual clientele, his space is super welcoming to anyone. He does a great job of discussing your options with transparent pricing and my hair looks great every time. I'd absolutely recommend him to anyone, especially if you need or want a private, inclusive, and accessible space to have your hair done.
