Shanan is amazing! Stopped in a couple weeks ago, very spontaneously I might add, and she was able to take the idea I was going for and run with it. She did amazing!! Exactly what I was looking for and she was so fun to hang and chat with while she was working her magic. Looking forward to future visits!

If you’re thinking of trying Sphynx Hair Salon DOOO IT ! I went in with an idea of what I wanted but Shanan really help me find what would flatter me. She took the time to make sure I was comfortable and spoke to me about my hair type which was helpful. Not only were we getting along so well but I got an amazing transformation. I went from long dead hair with blonde highlights to now my demure era to a short brown balayage. She honestly did an amazing job, Thank You Shanan.

I just want to say Shanan is phenomenal The experience at her beauty salon was by far one of the best experience I’ve had with a hairdresser in a very long time. Spending almost 5 hours with her and getting to know her I felt like we became more than just a client. She is a wonderful person and very easy to talk to you. She definitely makes you feel comfortable and right at home. My hair loves her and I am so happy. I found a good home for my hair to go to. She was great with providing a refund for the service & remained professional. We did have great conversation as well. However I didn't get what I asked for at all. I started very blonde and wanted a dark balayage added, she worked on my hair for 2 hours and I was left with fully dark hair. I don't understand how that outcome could've happened because looking at everybody else's reviews & after photos they look perfect. Just want to be transparent with everyone since the work I did to get my hair blonde for my inspiration picture was ruined by going here

I’m so glad I found Shanan! I was about ready to take the scissors to my own hair out of frustration. Lucky for me, she had an appointment and it was easy for me to book an appointment online for the same day. She spent time discussing what I was looking for, what do I like and not like. In the end, I walked out with the haircut I’ve been trying to get for years, with my other hairdresser before we moved!

The style I requested from Shanan was similar to a shag/woodcut haircut. The first time I visited her was the day after I got a HORRIBLE haircut and she treated me with so much care and revived my hair, I was so thankful for her because she did such an amazing job and I have not changed hairstylists since I’ve visited her. I love her and her business and I highly recommend visiting her!!
