I have had a really great experience at this location with Alex. I was informed that she has moved to the Lafayette location. During my last visit, the Assistant Manager, who was the stylist, cut my hair unevenly, leaving one side shorter than the other. I am truly saddened by this most recent experience.

The barber's haircutting skills were very poor. He only used a trimmer to cut hair, and he didn't pay much attention to the back of the head. The top of the head was left with a pointy shape, which looked very unattractive. I will never come back to this salon again.

Gave my son a TERRIBLE haircut. Did not listen at all to what he wanted and just kept chopping away! This was just a basic trim - if they screw up a basic trim - I can only imagine how bad anything more complicated would look. If you don’t care what your haircut looks like - great place to go - if you do care - try someplace else.

I recommend sports clips to anyone that won't their hair cut right the staff at sports clips are very nice very friendly and very efficient and I love my new haircut they always cut it right the first time get a lot of compliments on my new haircut a lot of people ask me who cut your hair I tell them sports clips different staff members has cut my hair over the years several times and it always comes out looking really nice thanks to the staff at sports clips

I used the app to set an appointment. Got to the place and saw I was next in line. The screen then deleted my name and they called on the next name. I asked why I wasn’t called and they said my name was purged. And that I would be added back. But I wasn’t waiting another 20 mins to get a haircut that I already waited for 20 mins for. The whole point of the app is to stop the waiting. So this is an app issue.

I’ve been here roughly a dozen times, and only two people there seem to be able to cut hair. I was only even coming back because the next closest place to my house is even worse. No more. They have ruined my hair right before trials, before hosting a huge recorded event, and before more than one formal event. Almost a decade of going to cheap military barbers and I have never been so dissatisfied. I have to tell them every single time that the haircut someone put in their notes is wrong. I ask for the same haircut every single time, a low fade to the skin. Instead, I end up with a number 1 not to the skin, almost no fade, and not even close to low, not even medium. I end up walking out with closer to a high and tight almost every time. Then I have to go home and finish it myself because half of the stylists do not clean up behind the ear. That is not hyperbole, I literally have to fade above my own ears every time. It is not my job to train your stylist. 3 times I have been funneled to the same woman; because I don’t have time to wait for a particular person. Another issue here is that you cannot sign in online until the store opens. The store does not even open until 10 so there is always a line of people waiting to get in and sign in. The doors open at the same time as online check-in, so you have people at home signing in before the line of people already at the door. I showed up 10 mins before the store opened and signed in as soon as I could, and it took over an hour to get a haircut. Finally, I find it extremely annoying all of the advertisements for the support and benefits related to the VFW when there is constructively no benefit to being a member of the VFW. A free shampoo at a men’s barbershop? No male combat veteran wants a shampoo after waiting over an hour for a bad, overpriced haircut ($29 before tip for a 5 min trim with nothing off the top is ridiculous). Also, somehow even with all the signs none of your staff even knows that it means Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Literally cut me. Never had that happen, no other sports clips. I will say Taylor is good but whoever did my hair most recently was the worst possible handling ive had. Two Razor cuts on my neck.

The last few times I’ve gone here, I’ve shown the barber pictures of what I want and have been given a completely different style to what we agreed upon. Just asked for a mid drop fade and my hair was buzzed almost entirely, only leaving the FRONT HALF (yes she buzzed off the back half of the top of my head) of the hair on top of my head.

I frequent this location whenever I’m in need of a haircut. Yet, I must say that Jessica K. has far been the most knowledgeable over my hair. She precisely told me how sides of my hair grow, which I thought was interesting and made a mental note of. Further, all hair stylists here have given me great cuts/trims and I can confidently say I have never had a bad experience.

Ive been to a few sports clips and honestly this was my worst experience. I asked for a 2-1 Fade/Taper on the sides and back and leave a good amount of length on top (6 inches or so). Usually it’s always done right. This time I ended up leaving with a 3 all around, maybe 3 inches of hair in the front, uneven trimming (hair was literally getting pulled out as she’s using the clippers), and and a couple high spots. The lady who cut my hair was really nice and held a good conversation, which is the only reason I paid. But this was not worth the $30 I spent. I really wish I just never went at all. Hope this will advise someone in the future.

Taylor did a great job on my haircut. She went quick and did it exactly how I wanted it with no mistakes. She also was very sweet and easy to talk to. 100% reccommended and I have been going there for about a year now.

Was an absolute delight! Taylor and the other lady in there were really open, sweet and friendly people. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the results of my hair cut! Definitely suggest to others and undoubtedly will be returning there myself!!!

Would not go there again. Starting with Not a welcoming environment. Not a good place to trim your beard. If I trim my beard at home would have been the same or better. They advertise they are hair stylist, I asked to straight my hair but they are not equipped for long hair styles. They do not put that paper around your neck to avoid hair going in your body. They do not have the brush to clean customer from hair after the hair cut. This is the worst barbershop I ever been.
