The Sports Clips location on Chesapeake Square Blvd can be cumbersome to navigate. Still, the staff's professionalism, the store's cleanliness, and the outstanding customer service provided make it all worthwhile. Since the pandemic, I have struggled to find a stylist. My haircut is simple, yet on many occasions, I have been charged outrageous prices while waiting in a dirty salon for over an hour, only to receive subpar customer service and, worse, an awful haircut. All of that changed when I met Bri at the Chesapeake Square Blvd location. She is kind, and attentive, and provided a fantastic haircut along with top-quality customer service! Bri deserves commendation for her exceptional technical skills and overall superb customer service. I am very pleased to have finally found a clean hair salon with competent staff. From now on, I will only get my haircut from Bri at Sports Clips. Thank you, Bri! Very Sincerely, -Tim Burns

Don't go here. Bad fade, asked for .5-1 inch off they took 2. didn't bother to clean up the hair on my head. And I style my hair in a specific style which I told her and gave me something that I can't work with. Stylist would rather sit around then do her job. Not coming back

Just waited an hour with my 7 year old son, and ended up getting up and leaving. There was one girl working on a Sunday. Seems ridiculous to me.

I went to this location on April 9. 2024 with my nine year old birthday boy. There was no one in the store at all. The girl behind the register was just watching her phone the whole time. The stylist took but 5 minutes to produce a cut that was not straight in the back looked like it was hacked with zero blending, and she didn't even wash his hair or attempt to style it. In fact, she cut the hair along the wrong part. So she had to try to fix her already messed up haircut just to make it worse. And it was $30! This is the second stylist at this location who gave my child an embarrassing haircut. This location poorly trains their staff and it shows. I tried it this second time, but I would be a fool to ever spend a dime there or to not earn others their $30 + tip is better off spent somewhere else or at least another location.

I've had some really good cuts here, and some mediocre cuts here, but today I somehow ended up with Tuco's haircut despite asking for it short on the sides and long on top. Couldn't really do anything about it since once it's cut, it's cut. There's some areas that are still a bit longer than pure buzz cut scattered around, but for the most part the parts I asked for short are longer than the rest of it. Guess I'll be wearing a hat for the next month until it's long enough to get fixed.

Terrible location, this location is closed during the times that I would normally need to get a haircut (at 5pm just about everyday) the staff are very rude when you ask them about it as well and generally aren't friendly.

It was our first time coming to this location and I cannot say enough about how great the staff were!!! Carla was very personable and Ray took excellent care of getting my husband taken care of. The wait time was non-existent and extreme attention to detail was taken to ensure our satisfaction. We will definitely be returning to this location for our future haircut needs. This place used to be my favorite place to get a haircut. Howrver, the quality of service has gone downhill, lately. In the past, my only complaint was that they were pushy in trying to sell shampoo, gels and conditioners. Now, however, they don't even do that. They barely want to cut hair. Even when I make an appointment in advance, and show up at my scheduled time, I still end up waiting for over 30 minutes longer than my schedule haircut THAT I MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR. It's like the stylists pick and choose who they want, regardless of appointments (that are clearly visible on the screen in the lobby). On top of that, the stylists aren't that friendly anymore. They never ask what haircut I want or if I want the shampoo, hot towel, or anything. They give me a quick, generic haircut and then send me on my way. And I've been so disgusted, that I don't even want to ask for any extra perks as they don't deserve any more of my money.

Checked in as I left work and it showed two people working with 0 minute waits for both. Arrived 20 minutes later, signed in, and waited as both employees were cutting hair. 40 minutes later both employees finished and one told me that I wasn’t signed in. I was then bumped to the end of the queue. Complete waste of my time.

Great hair cuts but I checked in online and got here 5 mins before I was supposed to, I walk in check in and it has 3 of us in deck (3 people working) and as I sit down I look up and see 25 minute wait bc 2, TWO, of the 3 stylists went in break. Extremely unprofessional.

I have tried to come to this location many many times. I have been turned away many times because they are "too busy" or they close early and they close early a lot like today at 1pm. I am done. This location. is completely unreliable

This location is unable to have any set hours. The last time I went in they only had one person actually show up to work. Today when I tried to go in the place didn't even open. Apparently they just decide randomly what days are going to have a business running. Don't waste your time, go somewhere else instead.
