I went to the Chilis location and signed in with one person in front of me 30 minute wait. Next thing I noticed my wait time was 81 minute wait and no one gave an explanation! So I asked another stylist and she said you can come back later or pick another day! Sorry second time this happened there finding a different barber! No more chain barbers for me! Called and emailed corporate office no response due to high call volumes! Red flag enough said! Left with no haircut. Who will wait that long in a place for a hair cut? You?

My stylist Ashely was very nice and helped me decide on how I wanted my hair cut. In no time, she was finished and it looked great! I will definitely be returning to her in the future.

I’m sharing this from my husband’s perspective. He went in for a hair cut which he has done at this location many times before with no complaints! Today, he said the lady who did his hair (Erica) was very pushy and unprofessional. She was constantly pushing him to buy her products after he told her no multiple times. He has a very sensitive scalp so he has to be careful on what products he uses. She then washed his hair and put product in his hair AFTER she was told no. We understand asking the customer if they want to buy your products but stop being so pushy and listen when the customer says no!

Went in for a father and son haircut. Had picture for the stylist for the two year old. His hair was butchered. He’s had seven haircuts since he was born because he has a head of hair. They did not even touch the top of his head that was needed to be cut because it’s thick and makes him sweat. Also he has a v-shaped chunk out of the back of his hair and a bowl cut in front. You can see every area she attempted was a blunt cut, no transition to the next cut. Let’s move on to the father hair cut. Visibly the worst cut I’ve ever seen for a man’s cut. Apparently Heather did the cut and I spoke to Erica, said she was the manager, who then passed me on to the district manager, Deb. Although they offered to have us come back, we chose against because it’s a 35-40 minute drive. The point I want to make is they knew he was visibly unhappy as she had told me that she could tell he was upset while still at the salon. She asked if he let her know, which he did because the manager came over to help her. Upon looking at a client with thick hair, you should not attempt the cut if you are not skilled to render services. Pictures have been taken but the part owner Deb aka district manager, reached out to me and practically hung up on me when I requested a refund because services were not rendered. It was 2:30pm when I spoke with her and she asked us to come back before 3pm at close. We would not have been able to make it. Also if we did go back but it’s obvious they don’t have the skill to do it correctly. I will be filing with the better business bureau and requesting a full refund through my financial institution. Customer service from an owner of a company was extremely poor and I could have done a better cut at home without being a skilled hairstylist. Very unhappy with this place! Erica, Heather, Deb (how do you own a beauty shop n not have a hairstyling license, when I offered to send her pictures, that is what she told me). Will never go to a SportsClip again. Worst customer service ever!

Get your schedule figured out. I've been going to sports clips for the last 5 years and yesterday I drove a hr (with a confirmed time) just to be told something got screwed up with the schedule and I wasn't going to be able to get in. Get the schedule figured out and I will fix my review.

My usual guy was out and needed a cut. I scheduled online it was 15 minutes from when I would get there. I was 2 minutes late. The minute I was supposed to be there they called and asked if I was coming. I told her I just scheduled online and left my house immediately I was in the parking lot. She apologized when I walked in and said she did not realize I just scheduled. They talked about being slow. Short fade hard part usual cut. I had long hairs all over my head. She cut so low on one side it was in my beard. The other was full length. Hard part was not in the pre discussed spot. After asking her 2 times to make it larger it was still paper thin. I gave up and fixed what I could myself never going back there.

Use the phone application and seems to work once in awhile. This time is unacceptable! Had a time set , my wife gets there for my autistic son and they had to wait over a hour! One time I get there for myself (set appointment) It wasn't showing I set it. Professionalism there is also something to be desired as well. Used to be the place to go. Not rushed or anything. Now you are rushed and listing g to their bantering between the so called stylist. Not the same. Have to go somewhere else now!!!

Walked into the store at 12:50 after getting a text “ Batter up! You are next in line for your haircut. Please be in store so you do not lose your spot in line.” Got there and everyone was busy with cuts. Totally understandable. THREE ladies finish their haircuts with customers and cashier them out without even looking in my direction. One takes a picture with a guy and stands right in front of where I was sitting. Little rude but whatever not too worried. Finally by 1:15 after I get 0 recognition I’m even sitting there (I’m the only one sitting in waiting area) a nicer gentleman asks me “have you been here before? There’s a certain way to sign in” appreciated that and all, but I had to walk out. I felt I was a ghost sitting in a chair. Made my appt like I was supposed to. Tried smiling at the girls. They looked away immediately. I’m not one to give a bad review and I understand short staffed but if i would have at least been recognized within the first 20 minutes of sitting there I would’ve been a happy customer. Poor customer service. Sorry I didn’t know we had to sign in, it was my first time ever walking into a SportsClips.
