This place hires people who have zero experience cutting hair. The girl even failed to introduce herself before getting to the chair. If you want someone to practice on your hair, come to this location. Oct 26 2024.

I’ve gotten a handful of haircuts here but this last one was one that stands out. The stylist seemed annoyed, didn’t ask for much information as to what I wanted, nor she she seem interested to address details. She rushed and almost aggressively buzzed over ears and edges. The lines along the sides are crooked, and she didn’t even bother to clean off the hair at the end. She even commented that I head “bad bed head” after I mentioned washing my hair, but putting on a hat. In any case, I’ve enjoyed coming here for most consider average quality cuts, but this was the last haircut. It’s not pleasant nor satisfying. Bad haircut and poor customer service. No thanks.

The girl with short hair messed up my husbands haircut. Didn’t even cut the hair on his neck and tried to say it was crease in his skin when she clearly didn’t want to cut his hair right. Ridiculous. Standard fade NOT THAT HARD 🙄

I’ve been coming to Sports Clips at Sunland Park for almost two years now since moving to El Paso. They do a fantastic job regardless of which stylist you choose. And they are extremely attentive and knowledgeable about how to get you the hair cut you want. My personal go to is Erika, as she is extremely friendly and takes a lot of pride in giving out great haircuts. I cannot recommend this location and the stylists highly enough. Especially for those folks looking to get their hair into standard. I will continue to be coming back as long as I am here.

The quality of the haircut is terrible. In less than 5 minutes they had finished the cut and left a mess, I don’t recommend the place at all.

This is my go to haircut place, Shannon cuts my hair and is always so professional, kind and always gets my haircut just how I like it. Checking in on the app beforehand makes it so I never have to wait in line and the service is quick.

Pretty good place to get a haircut! I've been here frequently and enjoy the service they give. Not very busy during the day, so you can get un and out in less than an hour. I enjoy the massage you get with the MVP. You get a discount, too, if you're a VWF member or military/retired. If you get a stylist you like, remember her name. Use the app to make check in faster. They keep notes on the haircut they give you, so even though it's a chain shop, it is personalized some.

The staff is nice and friendly, and Erika certainly helped me out with my problems 👍 i travel for work so I don’t tend to stay home very often but this is a place I certainly will come back to when I’m back home

Never EVER will I come to this location again, this lady Roxanne who was cutting my hair passed gas twice and very foul, instead of walking away to excuse herself she had the nerve to let it go right behind me and glanced at me to see if I had noticed, very disrespectful and no shame, whatever she ate must have been some road kill from the side of the road.

Erika did a great on on my sons hair. He is a very particular teenage boy and she listened to what he wanted and made sure he was happy with the style. He loved it and says he’s asking for her every time from now on. Thank you Erika.

I highly recommend this spot! Staff ALWAYS welcome you upon arrival, they tend to the customers quickly and professionally. The vibe is always friendly and welcoming. Their online check-in is a plus! Don’t believe they make appointments, but so long as you’re in the salon by the recommended time provided on the app, you don’t wait long! The haircuts are on point and there are multiple stylists I could go to that would provide a quality haircut. You can tell they value their customers and are working to ensure the experience is worth your time! 10/10

I went in last Thursday in a bit of a panic, I had just got a cut elsewhere and paid an exorbitant amount for something that I was extremely displeased with. Ceci, who has cut my hair before, was there and able to save my haircut for my wedding. I can’t recommend her and this Sports Clips enough.

I'm sure all the staff is knowledgeable, and can say from first hand that they're all funny and social, but I highly recommend you get your cuts from Erika Soto. I'm never satisfied after the barbershop and after 3 separate occasions, Ive been left impressed.

Jazmin was my stylist today. I didn’t know what kind of cut I wanted, since I was growing my hair out, but tired of it being in my eyes and giving me wings over my ears. I suggested bangs or just going shorter, but I really didn’t have a preference. So, before I realized what was happening - as we talked through the whole haircut, I ended up with my hair short again. And she did a great job! I am very happy with the cut and service. Thank you, Jazmin.

Sports Clips had a sports-themed decor. The atmosphere was lively, with TVs broadcasting sports events and a generally upbeat vibe. However, I couldn't help but feel that more attention should have been given to the primary purpose of the establishment - providing quality haircuts. Regrettably, the haircut itself was the most disappointing part of the entire experience. The end result was far from what I had envisioned - uneven layers, choppy edges, and an overall lack of precision. It was evident that the stylist lacked the expertise and skill required to execute the requested style. I left the salon feeling disappointed and frustrated with my new haircut, which required me to visit another salon to get it fixed. My experience at Sports Clips was deeply unsatisfactory. From the underwhelming customer service to the disappointing haircut, it was evident that this establishment lacked the expertise and attention to detail required to meet its clients' expectations. While the sports-themed ambiance might be appealing to some, I believe that the primary focus should always be on providing excellent haircuts and grooming services. I cannot recommend Sports Clips based on my experience, and I would advise anyone seeking a quality haircut to explore other reputable options in the area.
