Highly Don’t recommend coming here. Wanted a simple high top fade, was charged over 30$ for one of the quickest haircuts I’ve ever had. Did a ok fade on the sides and then they left the back of my head with this giant swoop, noticed the lady purposely didn’t show me the back of my head with the mirror very well so i couldn’t notice until i got home. Gonna have to go somewhere else to have it fixed. How does someone not do a fade straight across from the sides to the back in an even line. This is the worst hair cut ive ever had.

What I like is the great cut, attention to detail and pampering that my preferred stylist, Janet Caprara always does for me and all of her repeat loyal customers. In addition, Janet provides me with the Actiiv shampoo and Tea Tree shampoo hair care products that I enjoy using. Janet is very customer focused and great personality too.

Stylist spent almost 10 minutes chatting with other stylists about some coupons she just got while I was waiting. This was after checking me in so she knew I was there waiting.

Renee was super helpful and understanding with what I was trying to describe what I wanted. Cleaned up, and nice fade and a solid beard trim. Left feeling feeling fresh and looking good and my girlfriend loved it!! I'LL BE BACK!!!

I had to fix my haircut at home because the stylist left chunks of hair spread out all over my head. Didn’t blend the side well. She was more concerned with talking and getting to know me instead of cutting my hair properly. I was a barber for 15 years before my current profession and the lack of focus on the cut is holding her back or she just doesnt care anymore. She did say she was moving on to a new job so maybe shes giving up on caring. When I arrived she said she had a request client and asked the other stylist if they wanted me, so obviously she didn’t want me in her chair and was rushing to get to her special request client, the salon doesn’t have proper lighting to be able to see the finished product well. I typically tip 20+ dollars for a good haircut since I know what it’s like working in the industry, but after getting home kinda wish I had the $5 tip back that I left today,

I have never been treated so poorly before while getting my haircut as I was by Aisha at the local store (Sport Clips Haircuts of Geist Oaklandon). In all my years (8 of them in the military) have I ever had to walk out because of the pain that the barber was causing. And before you think it, I do NOT have a sensitive head. I just don’t like my hair pulled when getting it cut. What happened was I sat down and gave my instructions and she started using the buzzer. It pulled my hair immediately and I let her know. She kept going and I told her it was still hurting, thinking that her clippers needed new blades or something. Instead of apologizing or appearing like she was concerned, she just said “well it’s cutting” with an attitude. When I told her that it was pulling and hurting she just said “fine I’ll use the clippers”for which she used the clippers with a comb on it. She was rough even then and started to cut and pull the hair, making it hurt again. I told her that she was being too rough and it was still hurting. She became more rough so I said to forget it and she said “good”. I stood up and asked to speak to her boss but I was told by the other barber that there was not one and I would have to return the next day to talk to anyone. Aisha didn’t apologize and was acting like everything was my fault. Again I have never had someone cut my hair, treat me so poorly, make me feel like it was my fault, and make me have to leave. What was the worse thing was Aisha’s very poor attitude, not apologizing and making me feel like her pulling my hair was my fault. If she would have acted like she cared, felt bad, and understood that she was causing pain, I would have stuck it out. I have had uncomfortable haircuts before (most of them in the military) but have never been cause pain, apparently on purpose. It seemed like she had a personal grudge against something and was taking it out on my head. I just wanted you to know how bad my experience was and hopefully, someone will speak to Aisha about her attitude towards customers.

The Oaklandon store (14-121) is by far my favorite Sports Clips. While I love the atmosphere and convenience of Sports Clips in general, the stylists at Oaklandon seem to go above and beyond. Janet is my preferred stylist because she is very personable and can always get my hair cut just right!
