The stylist, Karen, wasvery rude. While trying to explain to her the requested haircut we were told “I’ve been doing this for 43 years. I know what you want. “ When the nine year-old boy tried to tell her how he wanted to wear his hair, she told him “l know what I’m doing. Just let me do my job.” Then to add insult to injury for a nine-year-old boys haircut I was charged $33.

I had a haircut with Ashley in this location. She is the store manager. She was very rude to me. She cut my hair last time she cut it super short. Almost made me bold in mu back. This time, she was the only one there so I didn’t have any other choice. She asked me how I want my hair to be cut. I told her not to cut too short(because I had a bad experience with her already.) she asked me later again and I said I don’t want as short as other time and she asked me how I want my top should be. I said maybe cut an half inch first and then if it stays long we can cut a bit more. She responded to me and said tell me how you want it now so I don’t have to have 2 haircut on your hair. Excuse meeeee???? I wanted to stand up and walk away. Or call her manager to complain but I realized she was the store manager so I had no where to complain about. I am not going back there again.

Their neon sign wasn’t turned on. I decided to call to make sure they were open. The lady who picked up the phone was very snarky and was rude to me. Learn better customer service skills. I love sports clips and this would’ve been my first time going to this location. But I decided to take my business somewhere else. Do not go to this sports clips. There are so much better ones that truly care about their customers. And that also turn the open sign light on.

If you're looking for a haircut during the pandemic and you care about people wearing a mask, don't waste your time going here. They will not accommodate. When I asked if a stylist would wear a mask when they did my hair, none would. I even got a "No, absolutely not" from a girl with two-toned pink/blonde hair named McKayla. If she were smart, she'd wear one for the money because I tip well. I guess she's already doing really well for herself. Edit: Misspleled a word

I should have known when I walked in and all the front lights including the open sign were turned off. Woman that called us acted annoyed when we checked in she was busy texting on her phone.There was one other girl in there actively working cleaning . We were literally the only customers there when she called on us she asked if we wanted the regular from the past I said no he (son) wanted it a little longer but off the ears and just cleaned up. She said “well that doesn’t make sense you’re not giving me anything “ started to argue that she didn’t understand. Instead of stand there and keep over explaining I just said nevermind we’ll go somewhere else. She just got louder as we left saying “you’re not giving me anything”

They should update their hours on google. Drove all the way there for a haircut because google said they opened at 10am only to find out they’re temporarily closed on Sundays. Irritating.

This place clearly does not want to cut womens hair, that was proven when I went to get my hair cut and they told me it's an extra $10.00 for hair pass my shoulders. The lady who did cut my hair was pleasant none the less. I would give her name but she did not introduce herself. I did explain my hair holds water and will shrink a lot please cut 2 inches off. It was more like 4 inches. It does look nice but not what I wanted. I will not make the mistake of going to the closes place to my home when it says Sports Clip. Clearly they prefer to keep a predominant mens clientel.

If I could give negative stars I would....I spoke with a "barber" for over 30 minutes talking about how she wanted to get my cut right....i showed her pictures and over explained and said dont touch the middle or length just clean it up....sure enough she started the clippers and went for the middle FIRST cut..my jaw dropped and told her she needed to cut it all and start from scratch she couldn't fix what she'd done. The EXACT opposite of a mowhawk regardless of the length.....worst yet she shaved everything but a bit of my once ponytail now a monk looking rat tail because "she felt bad" and "wants to leave some length.. trust i shamefully wore a hat home and shaved the rest off....I couldn't be more embarrassed or upset. I only went there because I figured a "professional" could see and cut what I couldn't....I couldn't be more wrong. I wish I had just attempted to shave it myself at least then I might not have lost all my hair or length. Now I'm back to scratch. Thanks. I you care at all about your hair save your money and time. A free cut isn't worth 7 plus years of growth....

I had a 5 star rating here but I got too many bad haircuts. I tell them to leave it long on the top and they clip at it for 10 minutes. I got my hair touching my eyebrows and my hairline showing at the same time. I come home and it's not blended at all. Also they used to be personable. Whatever happened to the friendly service?

Not going to point out any names here. But I’m not happy right now. I had a very important photo shoot today that I mentioned before my haircut. I asked for a mid fade. I got an extremely high taper. Looks awful. No fade whatsoever and now I have to reschedule this photo because I cannot get pictures looking like this. A simple mid fade turned into a high taper. My barber also smelled like straight weed and was probably high cutting my hair. My last time I’ll ever ever ever step into a sport clips. Someone should be hiring people who know what a mid fade is and probably not cutting people’s hair under the influence.

Was just in for a haircut. Waited probably less than 10 minutes to get into a chair even though every chair was already full. Ashley cut and styled my hair for me. She did an amazing job and was so quick about it! I was in and out in less than 45 minutes.

Whoever the dude that was working on April 26th the guy that looks goth and had all the tattoos and the tattoo on his ear is a total dbag seriously brought my 3 kids in to get their hair cuts and I was red to sit next to my son while getting his hair cut I accidentally pumped up the chair and he yelled at me for it not is he professional at all trying to persuade my son into getting a Mohawk why is there even a male dresser at sports clips not a fan and will never go to any location that he will be working at ever again and telling all my friends to definitely not bring their self’s or their kids there so irritation with this location we’ll time to find a new hair cut place spots clips is definitely not it .

Been going to Sport Clips for over 20 years (started when I lived in Houston, TX), and had my worst experience ever today. I've been trying to find a link to "contact us" so I can make sure the owner is aware of the situation, but haven't seen that option. I didn't want to leave a review because the owner does't seem active about responding to any feedback. At any rate, I don't recommend this location.

Had a cut by Marlene or what's her attitude... name.. she tried upselling what I don't need... the whole time she cut my hair she complained about how she doesn't make enough... it was my first time there. I didn't get the mvp treatment for a first timer.. after the cut she asked if anything more.... I asked for a rinse and she said well I'll have to charge extra for that... so I denied it. I paid and then went over to my sister's to clean up which she is a hire stylist. But she had to fix what Marlene couldn't do.

I took my kids in for a quick cut, having previously put their names on the list. We were greeted briefly by 2 people at the desk. I checked in and we were the only people waiting in the building. I proceeded to watch these 2 people clean their stations and I expected for my kids to be called back after that for their cuts. Instead, they both ignored that we were waiting and walked to the back and shut a door. Silence.... I got up and saw one other person cutting hair, the other 2 people left us sitting there for close to 10 mins. Still silence.... We left and won't be back. They could not have cared less that we were there and had no regard for our time or appointments.

I was originally going to get 2 cuts From Ashley my son and myself, I checked in by my self at the front of the shop and for some reason I was up first. I asked the lady if she can do my son first because I wanted to see what kind of professional cut my son wanted. Unfortunately her attitude turned she was upset as if I had asked for the world. She stated I got to switch everything around and rolled her eyes She proceeded to sit my son after 2 minutes. I asked to use scissors on the top and a fade on the side but not showing skin. She looked at me like I was talking in another language that she has never heard telling me she did not understand what I wanted... finally I just said please just do a 3 on the sides and use scissors on the top.. all I can tell you guys is that she used a machine on the top and when she asked about the side burns I asked to just line them up and she made a WOW remark this lady was not professional nor did she care the cut took less than 10mn and thats with the wash and hot towel. When she was done she did not take the time to combed my sons hair It looked messy...Worst experience ever not sure why they are in business.

I've previously given 5 stars. The ladies there are great. Don't go to the Gentleman. I fully understand I get my head shaved, but in the past, time was taken to pay attention to uneven hair, etc. Completely uneven from place to place. Even getting your head shaved I would expect service. Won't be back, will take the extra time to go to a different sports clips.

Nichole is the best stylist. We get along so well and she knows what I want every time I walk in! She always has me looking fresh every time I walk out. I’ve never left unhappy when she cuts my hair. She is a good friend that really takes pride in her work! Keep doing what you’re doing Nichole!!!

Took my child in today to get a haircut. There were two stylists working and both had customers in the chair. There were two people in front of me on the TV but neither one of them was there yet I was third in line. The one lady finished with her customer. And then proceeded to go to the back and kind of screw around a little bit. And she came back up to her chair and cleaned up there a little bit real slow like. So I'm waiting there for about 15 minutes wondering why this lady won't take me back to cut my kids hair. Then this guy comes through the door and she says oh you're up John. I said you're taking him in front of me. She said well he signed up online and he was in front you. I said that may be true but you've been screwing around back there for the last 10 to 15 minutes why didn't you take me. She said well I'm sorry I had to clean up. I'm 50 years old it doesn't take 15 minutes to clean up after a haircut. And I and I have been there multiple times where if you're out there and the person who is signed up ahead of you isn't there they always take you back. Basically I think she just didn't want to cut my kids hair because it was a kid. But I will never go back there again. And I would suggest you don't either. However I will say the one over off 125th and L is very good and I usually do go do that one. I will also say even the last few times we've gone to the one on 168th and Harrison it seems like the service that attitude and the haircuts go downhill every time.

Arguably the worst haircut I’ve received in my adult life. Unbelievably unprofessional. Had to go home and buzz cut my own hair the fade my stylist tried was so bad. Will not be back.
