DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON. Denies service, lied and said they only do short nails and no acrylic. My nails are medium length, not long at all. After I told them I have been there before, their story changed. Discriminating against others and denying services to a walk-in customer willing to wait after an appointment is beyond me. Terrible.

I LOVE this place. All of them are really friendly and respectful. They don’t rush, they take their time to take care of each their clients. Helen is so nice and really meticulous. She does an amazing job with my manicure and pedicure every single time! I highly recommend S&S Nails & Spa!

I've been coming here for several years for mani-pedi with Dan. I am always treated well and they are all very kind people. Jackie is always so sweet and they know who I am and feel welcomed like a friend. They have also been doing nails for my mom and other family members, and we are always happy with the result. I would recommend them to anyone in the area who needs nail services because I know they will treat you well.

I’ve been coming to Jacqueline and Dan for over 4 years and now I bring my 92 year old mom also when I come in. They are always so friendly and kind to us and are like family! The salon is clean with lots of choices for colors and nail services. We personally get dipping powder for our manicures, which is much easier on the nails than gel. We do gel for our pedicures. The color lasts and nothing ever “pops off”. We come in every 2 to 3 weeks. Highly recommend!

I recently started coming to Dan for a dip manicure and I love it! It lasts 2-3 weeks. I was nervous to try it but he explained everything he was doing. He’s very meticulous, takes his time and is very gentle with the drill. I’ve noticed his mom and the other technician take their time with their clients too - they don’t rush through the service, which I really like. I’m so glad I found this salon!

I had amazing services today at S and S nails ! The owner was polite and very accommodating , making sure my services were to my liking. I make my appointments and staff is always on time. This lovely business is a hidden jewel, tucked in the corner of a busy shopping center. Please go see them , you’ll have a perfect experience. !

Jacky was an absolute joy! This salon is very professional, friendly and well maintained! We drove in from out of town and I would love to make the trip again just to see Jacky. They got us in as walkins on a Saturday morning and we could not be happier with our experience!

Walked in to an empty lobby and was told they were booked. Funny I was the only person in there and there were 3 nail techs! It’s all good I’ll take my money else where

Whenever my daughter and I can squeeze in some time to get our nails done, we always chose S&S nails. The staff is so kind and friendly, & Danny is such a great nail tech! He’s done some great art for my daughter and he does a great French tip! We’re always so happy when we leave s&s!

They also take appointments seriously, which you will appreciate if you’ve ever had to wait a long time even after you made an appointment at other shops. I love S&S Nails! I'm the kind of person who finds a great nail salon and sticks with it for years. I tried a competitor across the street from S&S and gave it several tries but ultimately ended up unhappy because I couldn't get consistency with the same nail tech. It was like a chop shop and I felt unappreciated and rushed every time. At S&S, it's family owned and you'll see the same nail techs every time. They care about your experience and comfort and they do an excellent job with attention to every detail. You need an appointment here and believe me, you'll be glad you made one! The service and care they take here is the best!

I Love S&S Nails! They are very friendly and do a great job. It is best to make an appointment, they only have 3 technicians. We are treated with respect and receive the most professional service. I have been coming to this salon for two years now and am very satisfied with Jackie and Dan who own the salon. Always prompt and their work is impeccable! They prefer you have an appointment, but are always willing to work with walk-ins. Those who have an appointment would have priority over a walk-in. I love the friendliness of this salon and the pride they take in their work. Don’t hesitate to try this salon.

I just wanted to make this review for my beautiful brown skin women. I wouldn’t recommend coming here due to being turned away 3 times. I have been living in this area for over 3 years now. My first month living here I needed to find a new nail job and I know bliss nails is always popping but I wanted to support a small business. My mom and I tried to go one day (I called and they said walk ins are welcome and they had no wait)… I’m less than a mile away and when my mom and I walked in.. a young guy greeted us and asked what would we like and then asked if we had a appt. We stated no but advice regarding the call and he stated at that time they had no wait. I showed him that I just called 4-5 mins ago. We was turned away.. second time happened year two.. exact situation. This third time I was with my 12 year old daughter and just wanted to try because bliss is a bit busier and I don’t really get to always plan appts for this due to being a chef and we work crazy random hours. My daughter didn’t understand why they couldn’t help us with just two customers and 5 workers. He told me to schedule an appt and it won’t happen. I advised him that I couldn’t due to my work schedule. I never know my weekend schedule until the day of.. Anyways.. we left and went to bliss nails across the way by chick fil a ..where we were treated very kindly. I’m not going to throw the R card but I definitely feel like my kind isn’t welcome at this establishment.. and honestly that’s totally fine.. I rather spend my money else where but I’ll hate for another black queen to experience this.. especially with their daughter.

I've been coming here for 1/2 year now and are happy with the service, Jackie is passionate about what she do and seems genuine. The store has nice ambience, clean and the art deco by Danny is soothing. He has artistic in him for sure so being in this field if you're artistic then the final touch will make a difference. I highly recommended this salon.

Awesome staff!! They take their time and do a careful job. I live in the neighborhood and have tried other salons before finding this one. I recommend making appointment first if you can to make sure they can get you in. But they will take walk-ins if they don't already have clients. Happy customer ! Won't go anywhere else in Austin! I LOVE this place. I was sorry to read the post by Keto (?). I have been going here for 2-3 years and have never had a bad experience. They are all very professional and make you feel welcome. Dan is one of the nicest people I have known and he makes everyone feel welcome. Helen does my nails and she does an excellent job. I live in Steiner and I have used the salons there but have been treated badly. So I changed to S&S and have never been sorry.

I will be coming here every time I’m in town. My mother comes here regularly and took me with her while I was in town and I can’t wait to come back. I’ve gotten a few manicures and powder nail sets from here and Dan and staff always does an amazing job. They’ve lasted 4 weeks each time I’ve gotten them, and I put them through Olympic lifting and boxing training regularly. Recently I had a shoulder I hey and the tech was so kind and without asking kept my arm flat on the table so I didn’t have to lift it. My nails grew healthily and so fast. This photo was just getting the powder off and they even had to cut my nail down halfway. Great spot 🩵

Very poor experience with Danny. Would not recommend going to him at this salon. Not very skilled and VERY proud of what he thinks he knows. My friend also wrote a review and his answer blatantly lies about the experience. Crazy!! Editing this because the owners reply is as uncomfortable as it was working with him in person. Confirming I came in for S&S manicure to this establishment. I hope he does not continue to gaslight future clients.

You just can't beat this family-owned and operated salon! I've been a client for years and every time I'm treated like a part of their family. The services they provide are excellent and the results last. Because of their size, I STRONGLY recommend you book an appointment in advance. They are open to walk-ins but often their schedule is fully booked, so avoid being disappointed and call for an appointment.
