If i could rate it more than 5 stars, I totally would! I personally come and get my hair done by Jennifer. I don’t think i’ve met anyone who understands my hair as well as she does - I have very thick and coarse hair (which is pretty difficult to work with for most people) , and she does a flawless job at cutting my hair. She’s also permed my hair in the past and i’ve had the most beautiful curls as a result. I really appreciate the time and energy she puts into making sure I am happy and satisfied with the cut too! Not only is she good at cutting hair, she is also very knowledgable about what products work well for different hair types. Ive changed my shampoo and hair products according to her suggestions and it’s made a huge difference in the health of my hair! Ive gotten many compliments about my haircuts and all credit goes to Jennifer! Book with her!! Totally worth it!

ssoniestyle is a great salon but if you’re gonna go book with Jennifer! She’s a great stylist-meticulous with her work, objective, professional, and detail oriented. I’ve been going to her for over a year now since moving to LA and I never have anxiety about getting my hair cut, colored, treated, etc. I always know it’ll turn out well. She takes good care of her clients and going to her consistently has only benefited my hair health and cuts as she remembers things from my previous cuts and treatments.

Got my haircut from MUK, the barber twice now. He is so respectful of your wishes and how you want your hair done. He really cares, and his fades are legit. I am growing my hair out, so I got a low fade with a textured top to be able to style it better. He blends the fade very well and pays very close attention to all the details in your hair as well as face shape. Highly recommend MUK as your next barber!

I moved to LA a little over a year ago and have been looking for a good barber in the Ktown area. I looked for about 7-8 months and finally found a great and reliable barber who is great at his craft! Highly recommend you check out this place and specifically request for Muk for a men’s haircut!

The service and quality of this saloon is top tier. Hanna has been styling my hair for quite some time now. She takes time to understand your hair and provide more insight on the different style of hair you may want to check out. When you step in. WOW WOW WOW! The absolute best, the owner Ssoonie did my hair and made me Korean level 3 hair level 10 platinum blonde like Marilyn Monroe and it still feels amazing. I’ve gotten stopped 4 times already just for compliments on it. They were soooo sweet, accommodating, offered me drinks, snacks, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. If you’re looking for the best Korean Hair Salon in LA this is it!

Brought my son here to get haircut by Muk, he was so fine, detailed, patient, and took pride in his work. Told him to give him whatever style best suits him, and he delivered perfection. Definitely recommend this place, such a down to earth salon. Can’t wait to bring him back.

Heyne and Shawn team duo was absolutely amazing! I got a two-tone coloring done, and Heyne made it happen exactly how I wanted — my hair color (fuchsia/red) in contrast to my natural black hair looks gorgeous 😍 ✨️

I feel like I’ve been ripped off. I asked through Yelp how much a men’s perm costs, and they quoted me $120. But after the service was done, they charged me $215, claiming the price was just the starting point. It’s basic courtesy to inform customers of the actual cost upfront, especially after seeing you and understanding what you want done. The stylist informed me that the total would be $115 TOTAL. I even asked him to repeat the price and again he said $115. Could’ve been a mistake on their part but it’s one heck of a mistake when it puts another $100 dent in my wallet. The result did come out well and Muk is very skilled but this is absolutely ridiculous. And by the way, they get customers to write 5 star reviews for $10 off saying it’s some sort of special…

I’ve been coming here for years with Yun. She is an expert at hair and keeps up with the current trends (including Men’s perms). She is fantastic and this is the only place I get my hair when in LA.

I’ve been going to Sarah for the last few months and she’s genuinely one of my favorite stylist ever! She doesn’t double check her work…she TRIPLES check her work! She always makes sure everything is even all around, provides feedback on how to style my hair, talks about whether the style I want works for me. Communication is huge for me! Shout out to the rest of the staff who are always friendly, remembers what I like to drink while there, and remembers past conversations! You’re the BEST Sarah!

I needed my bangs trimmed badly and I live super close to this place so I called to see if I can come in just for a bang trim. there was a bit of a language barrier with the woman that cut my bangs. Literally, I have a slightly outgrown curtain bang and all I wanted was it trimmed shorter. You can see the shape clearly yet she asked me for a picture of what I wanted. Wtf? I ended up having to fully explain and point for her how to cut my bangs and at that point I was nearly certain this was a bad decision. When she was done, I had to ask her to soften the left side because she left the front piece very blunt and it was not blended in at all. The final result ended up being ok. I was in the hair seat for FIVE WHOLE MINUTES. They charged me TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS for this bang trim that I had to walk her through. Granted, I probably should’ve asked first how much it would be but who the heck would charge more than $15 for a simple 5 minute bang trim in the first place? I won’t be coming here again. It’s also very suspicious the abundance of all the recent high reviews

I’ve been coming to Hanna for about a year now and I cant go anywhere else. she is really nice and easy to talk to. i would say her eye in hairdressing is very stylish and i can say i completely trust her with my hair. shes very informative and knowledgeable with how to style my hair. I’ve gotten perm from Hanna too and it came out really nice! if you’re looking for a stylist who really cares for you, i would really recommend Hanna. the vibe of the salon is really laid back and chill and everybody is really nice and talkative. if you come here, its like youre surrounded by family. thank you ssoonie and Hanna!!!

Love this place so much!!!!! Got my first Korean perm here for the first time and it was amazing I love how it came out!. Hanna made it as curly as I wanted it to be so I'm really happy about that!. I would definitely only come here to get my perms. Hanna was very kind to me and welcoming same with the staff they were funny too so it wasn't awkward. As I waited Hanna also gave me snacks and a drink which were really good and generous of her. If you're thinking about getting a Korean perm differently come here and ask for Hanna without a doubt they'll do it amazingly!!!!! 🙌.

Ask for Ray to get a great men’s cut! He understands head shape and will work with you to grow out to a new style or achieve whatever look you’re going for. Meina also gives a wonderful shampoo and snacks and refreshments. Awesome spot!

Jeong Mook Barber is incredibly talented. I have naturally curly hair, and many barbers in Korea find it challenging to cut. However, Jeong Mook, despite being Korean, is exceptional at barber cuts. He never disappoints. Whether it’s for Korean or foreign clients, he handles all hair types with great skill. I highly recommend this barber. If you get the chance, give him a try – he’s truly talented!

Ray and Meina never fail to give me a premium cut and perm experience. Ray takes his time in order to explain which cuts suit your face shape and hair texture, and they dedicates his entire effort to making your experience phenomenal. Always get shampooed and, a bonus, snacks with coffee with the cut. They are the best
