Days has been cutting my hair for more than a decade and I don't plan to stop coming to her. I've driven from Santa Rosa and now East Bay to come see her every 8-10 weeks. She is truly a master of her craft! She is also adaptable, and when I asked for a Mohawk for a thing my friends and I were doing for an event she came through and I got constant compliments that whole weekend!!

Had a great experience with my digital perm yesterday - my previous perm here was in 2019 before the pandemic, and Vivian had done a fantastic job. I called to make an appointment since I was going to be back in town, and was pleasantly surprised that they still had my record of my perm details! Vivian is no longer with Star East, but Days took great care of me. She asked for photos of my hair before booking to make sure that my hair would be healthy enough for the perm, asked for a photo of what I was envisioning, and took a detailed history of my last color and perm. I got a text from Days a couple of days prior to the appointment with instructions and reminders. On my arrival, she was so warm and welcoming, and took time to explain her thought process and plan for my haircut prior to the perm, checking with me throughout to make sure I was ok with taking off some length. One thing I loved that many other stylists don't do, was that she asked what I liked and didn't like about previous perms. The perm itself came out excellent, and Days gave me a ton of great tips for styling and caring for my perm. The time passed by quickly. You'll definitely be well cared for here!

Really enjoyed my digital perm here! Joe is super knowledgeable and walks you through decisions about your hair (texture, what works what doesn’t work). It came out exactly how I wanted it. I was pretty scared about damage, but my hair feels pretty good (just a little dryer than before). If you’ve been thinking about it for a while, I would go for it!

This was my first time here and my first time getting a digital perm. I am so, so glad it was with Joe. He was so attentive and knowledgeable and it was clear he had a true passion for his work and the services he provides for his clients. He's honest about what's possible and healthy for your hair and he's very mindful during his consultation. His staff were incredibly friendly and always quick to assist or help make me comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I am so happy to know where to go now for my perms! The space itself is very clean and nice. Highly recommend coming here and very much promote Joe and all of his talents! My hair is beautiful!

Got my first digital perm from Star East. Joe was great. Really knowledgeable and you can tell he enjoys his job and has a passion for it. His assistants are really helpful as well. They have water and Keurig coffee as well as some snacks. My digital perm came out amazingly well. The perm included a much needed haircut that was well done. I will be coming back for future hair needs!

Joe is great, friendly and knows what he's doing. Been coming here for years for the digital perm (basically makes your hair perfectly curly/styled without having to do anything to it, I am very low hair maintenance). Even when I lived in London, just waited till I had a trip back to get my hair done. Wifi and movies to help with the wait, be prepared to be there for a good few hours as the process itself just takes a long time. But it lasts for 9 months on me, well worth it!
