The service is great but the wait time not so much. Called a day ahead to schedule an appointment and still waited nearly 40 minutes to begin. Time management is not their strong suit but love my nails every time.

I decided to try this place out because it was open on Monday and close to my job. Upon arriving, they weren’t really busy, but an appointment was made ahead of time. I came with a few of my coworkers and we all sat down at the same time to get pedicures. One worker was busy and the other two weren’t. Once they told us to sit down, two people started working on my coworkers. While waiting, another one of my co-workers arrived and they started her water. After the other lady finished her client in the front, she proceeded to work on the coworker that arrived later and totally skipped me. One of my coworkers noticed and didn’t understand why they skipped over me. At that moment, I knew I would never return for business. The lady in the front absolutely knew who arrived first and chose who she wanted to work on. So I sat there while my feet looked liked prunes and no one to work on me. I politely took my feet out of the water and waited for my turn. Once the lady finished up with one of the coworkers who arrived at the same time as I did, she came to me and did a great job. However, as she started using what I call the cheese grader, I politely told her that I didn’t need it and not to use it just to say she used it. The gentleman working on my other coworker rudely said - “Well you would need to tell us beforehand not to use that prior to the service. It’s a part of the service.” I said oh ok, but knowing that the lady could’ve put it down and not used it regardless of if it came with that specific pedicure, that to me is telling her beforehand. From there, she finished and did a great job. It wasn’t the nails that I am complaining about, but the fact they decided to look over me because of the color of my skin. So I will never return and will NEVER recommend anyone to come to this place. If it wasn’t for me saying let’s try this place, none of my coworkers would’ve went at all and I would have NEVER stepped foot into your place of business. This was my first and is my last time. No one should have to experience this level of disrespect.

I love getting my pedicures here. The salon is always clean, service is prompt, and prices are very reasonable. I’ve never left this salon unsatisfied. I will continue to come back!

I’m not one to usually post this kind of thing. But I was horrified with my experience today at Star Nail salon in star city. My nails overall look fine. However I was cut multiple times on both of my hands, and was continuously worked on. (Tools were never cleaned or disinfected between the client before me and even when I was finished, and I was literally bleeding on them) And this isn’t even the worst part. After my nails were finished, the man who did my nails came and stood over me as I was waiting on my friends nails to be finished and was demanding that I left a review. I told him multiple times no, I might leave one later. And he still bothered me the entire time she was having her nails done. He even went as far as to grab my phone out of my hand while I was on it and went on to my camera and began taking pictures. Even when told to stop he never did. So star nails you want a review here it is. I have never felt so uncomfortable getting my nails done as I did today. Number one being cut multiple times is not okay. improper disinfection in a salon is absolutely disgusting and dangerous to your clients. And NEVER take a paying customers phone out of their hand and demand a review. You made me take pictures of my nails. So here they are. Enjoy my mangled fingers everyone. Never again.

Let me start by saying I usually love this salon, I always go here because it’s close to my house and I never ever have a problem. The woman working here is always nice and so is the owner. However the other guy working with them is very rude. I made an app. To get a medium length acrylic set and the guy acted like it was such an inconvenience. When doing my nails he jerked and twisted my wrists and hands around like he was mad about something and I wasn’t doing anything but sitting there just wanting to get my nails done. I’ve had medical issues in the past with my wrist so I really didn’t appreciate the fact that I went home with it feeling like I sprained it because of how hard of a grip he had on my hands. Secondly when putting my hands in the LED lights to dry he yelled at me saying that I wasn’t being careful! Who yells at their customers ? He could’ve been like please make sure to be careful before you mess them up that I would’ve understood but no he yelled like I wasn’t even a customer paying him. Needless to say I will never be back here again as long as he works here he’s very rude and aggressive. The only reason why I gave 2 stars is because my nails looked great as always.

They overcharge and if you want a touch up on your nails it will NOT look the same as you originally had them done. Also overcharge to have the acrylics removed versus other shops, who removes them for free. Out of all the shops in Morgantown this place is the least worth it. Highway robbery and poor quality.

They were very nice but there were only two workers. The lady did both of my daughters simultaneously while the man did mine. My nails came out quite sloppy and I wasn't impressed with them. However the worst part was that they were over booked and kept trying to accept walk-ins by saying "it'll just be a minute" as scheduled appointments were coming in at the same time.

HORRIBLE customer service! Went in and owner rushed through my nails and they looked awful!! I called them when I got home and told them about my nails and he said to come back and he would refund my money. Went back and owner refused to refund my money and wouldn’t even look at the job he did! Told me that he had to take them off because he wasn’t giving me free nails! I’ve never had such a awful manicure/ nail experience in my life and I get my nails done very often! Thought I would give a newer business a chance and I definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to them for any type of service!

I arrived for my appointment and left 20 minutes later without ever getting in the chair for my service. There was no urgency and I had a full schedule. Don’t know how the services are, because I could not continue to wait. It is very nice inside with plenty of parking.

Peter is very rude and talks about you like you dont know he is. & he literally ignorantly told me to stop talking on the phone while he painted my nails mind you the phone was in my lap not bothering him. Hes just very arrogant and rude and not worth the hassle!
