Amber is an expert at blending color with my gray/white hair! I never have a white line with my grow out. The color fades in such a natural way that I get compliments in between visits. I highly recommend her for cut and color.

I had an amazing experience at Starling Salon. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional. I loved all the product placement and different types of cute and beautiful jewelry displayed. Sonia listened carefully to what I wanted and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. She worked with me on creating a style that suits my face shape and hair type perfectly, and the result is better than I could have imagined! The cut is clean, stylish, and so easy to manage. I highly recommend Starling Salon and especially Sonia if you’re looking for a fresh, beautiful haircut. I’ll definitely be back!

I have been to the Starling Salon a couple of times long ago, but my most recent experience was with Scott. I went in with an idea and some very basic knowledge of how to continue to style after the cut. Scott taught me so much about hair care that I had never known and perfectly/easily addressed the very things that frustrate me when styling at home. So not only did I walk out with a cut that looks better than any I have had in a very long time, I’ve been able to keep it looking as good as it did when I walked out of the salon a week ago. I am so impressed and highly recommend this salon and especially Scott to anyone.

Been coming here since they opened (I want to say over 10 years), and will always recommend this salon. Hallie is who I have seen over the years and always feel so great after I leave. She is amazing with cuts and color and although I don’t personally have extensions, from what I’ve seen via social she is great at that as well.

I love Starling Salon. All the stylists are very kind and engaging. I came for an all over color and a cut. I was given the K18 treatment before my color application and my hair after the color feels healthy than before I had it colored. The cut was quick and she gave me exactly what I had asked for. When I was waiting out the 40 minutes until my color was done processing, the cap my hair was wrapped in started to fall a bit and another stylist came over to help me out. Two in fact. I was offered beverages by my stylist upon arrival, and was offered again by another later in my visit. They were very attentive and my color turned out gorgeous. To put it plain and simple this salon is worth the price and if you’re a bit “alternative” I highly recommend Emma as a stylist. Thanks Starling!

I was ~20 min late for a 3 hour balayage appointment because of a family emergency. The hairstylist left and when I arrived Safari and her co-worker were disgustingly horrible to me. I became upset and when I left, they were laughing in my face. Worst salon in Denver!!!!!

It might sound weird, but I’ve always had a hard time finding a stylist that can do coarse, thick, wavy hair. Kayla is the best hairstylist I’ve ever had. She’s nice, great listener, really tries to understand the look I want, she always takes her time, and gives a high quality experience every time. The whole staff is friendly and welcoming.

Every time I get a haircut, color or style with Scott Clark, I come out feeling like I’m on top of the world! He knows exactly how to cut my hair and always has thoughtful conversations ahead of each visit to discuss what I’m looking for and what he recommends. His expertise is unmatched, and he has even given me styling tricks so I can emulate a style at home. Aside from his absolute expertise, I treasure his friendship and support and I feel relaxed and comfortable in discussing anything I need. I feel amazing when I leave and that is a hard feeling to match! That in itself is a true gift.

I have been following Scott around Denver for seven years now. He really knows color--I always feel safe in his chair, even with my naturally-dark, fine hair texture. Scott is also very kind and sweet, so combined with Starling's welcoming environment it's just easy to spend an afternoon here.
