It's an interesting spa place. There is a hotspring on site. The water is piped to the bathing house, which is an old mission. The staff is amazing. They offer tea for free. We reserved the outdoor pool. It was an old hot tub. The bathing areas could use some TLC with cosmetic touch-ups. Still a fun place to visit that has character.

Everything was amazing! The massage was very good, the soak was incredible, however we were not told to bring our own towels. When asking staff for towels for after the soak in the hot spring water, they stated it would be a $3/towel rental which is very expensive. We ended up just using the robes we were provided (since we did a couples massage they provided robes to wear to walk from the massage room to the soak room). However, it would have been nice if they told us when booking to bring our own towels or else we would have to pay to rent a towel.

Just came in and had a wonderful soak in the green room. It was so nice to treat ourself and I have to shout out Keana, who is absolutely wonderful and such a warm person to greet and get everything put together for a soak. Will definitely come back, bring my friends, and learn to treat ourselves more!

The place is run down and old, which to be honest was not even the issue. The staff was very rude including the manager who accused me of smoking in the room. Mind you I have never smoked in my life. Both employees hung up on me when I tried to explain myself. I have referred people to go there who felt the building is also run down. Not only was the staff unprofessional and rude but it appears they got me confused with someone else. They also called over an hour after I left (for all I know someone else was in there that did smoke after me). Either way you don't call the customer and accuse them, let alone have two rude employees. McCale embarrassed me and told me not to come back. Wow, why would I want to come back if you're accusing me and so rude! I see from other reviews she has been a jerk and humiliated them. Why give your employees so much power to belittle and offend your guests? I have never been accused of this and it ruined my day. If a person is that adamant that they did not do something typically they are being honest in my experience but this staff must need customer service training!! I am also in customer service and deal with many situations and clients. There is a way to respond and way not to respond, MCale is clearly not trained on how to treat a customer. Was it worth accusing someone to push them to want to leave a review? Probably not. This was the worst experience I have had at an establishment. I hope you think about how you treat your customers and accusing someone who is "innocent' is not acceptable. I go to many spas with superior customer service and like to support small places but never again, oh and $45 to soak in your old tub that needs to be cleaned and cannot maintain a temperature is not worth it!!

We have been coming here for about 5 years for a soak and it's always a great experience! The staff is friendly, the prices are super fair and it is clean. To those saying it's not clean, that is not true, it is a historical building so it's old but definitely not dirty. The staff do a great job and work hard to keep it clean. I also have never had a negative experience with the staff, I think if you are just a normal person and polite you will be fine. We always feel so relaxed and rejuvenated after a soak. The biggest problem is sometimes other guests will be loud which is rude but other than that it's a 10/10 in my book ❤️

On October 4 at 1:30pm I had an appointment in the yellow room bath. The hot water tap didn’t work correctly.  It was coming out of the faucet in a very small stream much smaller than normally. It seemed like something was stuck there. I called the manager McCale and told her that the water was cold and instead of her saying something like :”Sorry ma’am we’ll take a look at the issue and see what can be done” she started going off at me insulting me that I’m a bad customer and accusing me that I always complain. She began to argue with me that 104 degrees is enough for me, shaking thermometer in front of my face trying to prove to me that the water is hot and trying to make a liar out of me. And to top it off she threatened me that if I ever complained again I would be rejected all together from coming in. Am I some kind of criminal? What kind of customer service is that? I was completely humiliated because everything she accused me of is ABSOLUTELY FALSE. I am a loyal customer that have been coming to support this local business for many many years. I have brought many other guests with me. In fact I was there with another guest that day and McCale embarrassed me in front of my guest. I work for a customer service industry and we are trained constantly to respond to any guest issues with a friendly smile, to listen to the issue first and offer a simple solution like we will take a look and see what we can do to solve this issue but we are never to argue with a guest and verbally attack the guest. If I spoke to someone at my job the way McCale spoke to me I would be fired on the spot. I didn’t do anything wrong to be talked to this way. I left with rejection and humiliation stuck in my mind instead of relaxation that I go there for.  Please someone talk to McCale and explain to her what customer service is and how to properly respond and handle guest issues. I wrote an email to manager Kayla Ward because I don’t feel welcome in this business anymore that I’ve been supporting for over 10 years but was completely ignored. Very unprofessional customer service.

This is my happy place. I always leave feeling relaxed. I always do an hour soak and then a massage. Their package deals are also awesome! Kiana is the best massage therapist I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of massages in my life! She is intuitive, creative and really helps me feel better in my body and grounded. I love Steamboat Hotsprings and hope to continue visiting for many years to come!

Unfortunately the experience fell short for me a few different ways. The outdoor tub area felt run down, massage was just okay (way overpriced in my opinion) and front desk mixed up transactions.

I can never say enough about the mineral springs here. I am writing this after an hour soak in the RED room so I’m still in zen. Healing waters they definitely are. FIRST you get to select aromatherapy for your bath or you don’t have to have one. We usually go with the signature blend or depending on how we feel mix it up. There’s also salt scrubs and epson salts. All rooms are chakra based and will definitely help align your mind body and soul. Kendra, Savannah,Kayla and the rest of the staff are amazing and definitely knowledgeable and helps with whatever ails you. Oooh and do a package of getting a mineral bath and a massage!!! Your body will thank you!

I had an AMAZING time at the spa. I'm from out if state and came to pamper myself with a mineral Hot springs bath. I loved the place and decided to come back the next day to get a massage. Everything and everyone there was wonderful!

Our massages were great! We got the couples package but they deducted $20 because we could not use the Hot Springs our whole reason for wanting to come was ruined because they had no appointments available and the day that they did have an appointment available. The hot tub rooms were being flushed out with water and could not be used. If we had thought more about it, we would’ve waited to come because we only saved $20 off of the package for not being able to soak for an hour in the tubs which was our whole reason for wanting to get massages there. In future I would probably go elsewhere for a massage Because of the distance and extra cost of getting a massage at the Hot Springs we paid $280 total for a one hour massage each, and left $40 tips so our entire expenditure was $360 for one hour massage for two people. Much higher than we normally spend, but I would say the therapists did a great job and I would go back if I could go in the tubs next time. Don’t bother asking for any exceptions to their rules. I was hoping to pay the full price and come back for the soak another time, but they would not allow it. It’s a very interesting building and a historic site, and I would’ve liked to see more information about that or have been offered a tour but we were not offered that. They did kindly offer to throw in some free bath salts and give us the local price if we come back for a soak. So I can’t say anything about the mineral baths Until next time…

My family had to say goodbye to our 12.5 year old Yellow Lab Lucy on July 5th, and I took an hour's soak in the outdoor tub in the dry heat on July 6th and it was Extremely healing! Thank you Steamboat Hot Springs Healing Center & Spa, namaste.

A local hidden gem! If you go during the week for a service or a soak and you're local, do ask for your local discount before paying and do show your ID. I was here for a massage with Skyler and a soak in the green room. It was my first time in there, but I wish it was cleaner. It seemed a little dingy in there compared to the other rooms. I did try a custom scent supposed to help with my digestive system, and I will try it again next year. I've been a loyal customer for years, and I have enjoyed my treatments and soaks here. Prior to this visit, I was in for my Mother's Day, and I was pampered for a detox special! I hope they run something like that again! I I'll be back! Thank you, Steamboat staff, for aiding and providing me a peaceful sanctuary! I'll be back sooner than later! I never stay away, too long!

I had an amazing experience here. It was my first time and was so pleasantly surprised with the sweetness of this place. I came on Mother's Day and I got a nice long soak in the tub. The massage by Skylar was truly wonderful. Despite my bank having problems with payment (was flagged for some reason) they were gracious enough to charge it the next day instead. I very much appreciate the hospitality and warmth received here. Thank you. 🙏
